McEnroe & Lendl: duking it out senior style at 50+... Me: doing my little old lady shuffle just to get out of bed in the morning @ the same age.
First tennis match i saw when i was kid was Lendl vs McEnroe final French open 84 i fall in love with sport. and was big fan of lendl
as Mac said, that match is a stain on his career forever .... He could - and should - have won that. I admit Lendl proved he was a champion by winning that.
i criticize Mcenroe, but he hit the ball very well here. i always say " 1984 was the year he actually tried ..."
Always tried to copy the Lendl strokes 👏🎾💪
