Minuet 2 from Suite no. 1 in G major, BWV 1007 by Johann Sebastian Bach (Suzuki cello book 4)
I finally got my summer vacation. We are renting a very nice place with a lake view and, of course, I took my cello with me :-) There are a lot of things to do and see, so I don't get to practice every day and not for very long at a time, but I managed to take a look at Bach's second Minuet. It's also a very beautiful piece. The trouble with Bach is playing it very, very cleanly, as every irregularity can be heard right away. I tried my best :-)

This is my cello journey. Day 1 was 19th of January 2024. I’m documenting my progress for fun, learning and motivational purpose. Thank you for watching ❤️

Im a cellist and have been teaching my aunt for about six months. That's very mpressive progress. How long have you been working on this piece?

@@Cello_Journey very nice! I would recommend the Alwin Schroeder etude book if you haven't already gotten it.

@@Swamp_Donkey_ I started to work on Lee’s etudes op. 31 now (and also almost through his whole op. 70, “easy etudes”). Then we will see what my teacher has next in line for me after this. But I’ll check Schroeders out too, tx.

@@Cello_Journey Ah I see, I assumed you were self taught.
