I so happen to be from Detroit and to be a black male and NED completely reflects my opinion. What Obama's presidency taught me is this country is majority rules and it doesn't matter who we elect our interests are not on the table for discussion. Black men only represent 6 to 7% of the population but over 40% of the prison population, we are wantonly discriminated against in pretty much every facet of American culture. As a result a large portion of our community are disaffected and can careless about participating in a contest where our vote do not benefit us. This does not mean we support 45 or that will support the republican party. It means we are tired of being exploited for our vote. You can't change a condition until you have control over your environment and of your affairs.
But you ARE voting right? What are you gonna do?.... stubbornly cross your arms and refuse to choose anyone? You're not hurting Joe Biden or democratic leaders. You're not teaching anyone a lesson. You're only hurting yourself and the blk community even more if you let an out and proud racist like Trump, who believes in total immunity for the police and over-sentencing of blk people, become a dictator cause you wanna be apathetic about your voting rights. You might not have any more voting rights If Trump takes power. Here is the issue. These black men should be running for office in Michigan. The other issue is we always have black candidates and black voters don’t support those black candidates. When I say support ai means financially and showing up to vote for them. The change we’re looking for starts with us. I am from Kentucky but lived in Dallas for 31 years. I hate driving in Louisville because police drive around in regular unmarked vehicles pulling people over. I find that very dangerous and unsafe. It’s just a regular car not an unmarked police car. They will pull up and pull you over. If you don’t stop they will be aggressive and draw weapons. I am not sure why the locals don’t stand up to say all officers should be in marked police cars. Not a regular Toyota Camry or a ford Mustang.
And chargers, Durangos, explorers, Tauruses, Fusions, even a trackhawk. You gotta keep your head on a swivel when you’re on I-65.

Unemployment rate is down and job creation is at all-time high and more jobs are coming back. Job creation will lead to people providing for their families. I have an issue with this so hard. I'm a 30 year old black man from Mississippi. The importance of voting and exercising my right to vote is non negotiable. My ancestors hung from trees so that I could vote. Every young black man who stays home is apart of the problem. If they believe that if Trump gets reelected we are going to be in a better situation THEY ARE LOST. I agree that the Democrats have to do better ABSOLUTELY, however if you don't vote you may not have a country to take too task for its inadequacies. Let's keep our country FIRST then we can address the other issues. Don't be short sighted because we all are strugglin right now, be objective and pragmatic.
I am not black. But I just would like to advise, don’t vote for a particular party just because it’s been the popular thing to do in your community. I’m not saying to run out and vote for trump either but I would really sit and evaluate if your community is seeing the results from the past 50 years of voting a certain way or if it’s time for a change.

My message to all black voters. Vote or else. We are in no position at this time to tell people what they need to do to get our vote. We need to vote for the people who will protect us. Much of Joes agenda was held back because we didn’t give him a majority in the House and Senate. We spend too much time complaining and not participating and understanding this has lead to us giving most power to white Americans. When we don’t show up locally and in the state elections because we say nothing will change. They elect their people who work on their behalf and as a result laws are created to help them and hurt us. We have to stop this. This is our democracy. It is good that we are paying attention to this because it is something that I have warned about. The state of the economy under the Biden administration is negatively impacting most Americans, but particularly our minority individuals. Hard-working Americans are having trouble making ends meet under the Biden economy with runaway inflation. Runaway inflation is negatively impacting our minority community, which at one time relied on our Democrat party to make life better.
