here are some possible points of interest Réunion island (just fly there if you haven't already) VNST Simikot - Nepal (cool airport in the mountains) PKMJ Amata Kabua International Airport - Marshall Islands (cool airport with ocean on both sides) OPSD Skardu airport-Pakistan (epic valley airport in the karakoram mountains) (Also check out nearby Hunza valley if you're at Skardu) Lake Toba- Indonesia (site of largest known volcanic eruption that created the lake) Volcano Osorno - Chile (Very scenic volcano and lake) Vulkan Krenitsyna - Russia (basically an island within an island) Chimborazo - Ecuador (summit is farthest point from earths center) Huascaran - Peru (very nice valley and site of most deadly avalanche in history) Photogrammetry in the Netherlands (there is a large strip of Photogrammetry going from Rotterdam to Den Haag) West Santa Cruz Province Argentina/Patagonia (seaplane heaven and whole area looks pretty good) Lake Toba - Indonesia (site of largest known volcanic eruption)
Okay, you're my new hero. The PG around Rotterdam is some of the best I've seen so far. If I can tweak enough to get the popping to chill a bit, we're going to fly it.
Also I noticed that your windshield is crystal clear, mine looks like it is covered with dust. This is also new to 2024. I wrote these problems off to bad server issues. Who knows? This sim has much promise and I can’t wait to see what they will do with it when the bugs are all squashed.
Idaho!? I didn't even know we had another crater lake out there! I just peeked at the Google map on my phone ... that already looks amazing. I'll head out there when I get home from work tonight.
Thanks for your videos and commentary! Your cockpit looks crisp and clear. Mine has looked chalky and not at all crisp. Maybe I need to adjust some setting. 2020 is always crisp. Any thoughts?
Check to make sure your filth accumulation is set to your preferences. In 2024, it is supposed to get dirty over time. I disabled mine because I prefer clarity over realism when it come to the windows.
I may have hallucinated that option ... maybe I was having a flashback to the 310 in 2020. I asked our Discord guys because I could have sworn I adjusted that somewhere. They said it is only available in developer mode, but I never engaged that. But let me ask you this ... does it look like your windows are all foggy, too? I just took a flight in the King Air and couldn't figure out why it seemed like my cockpit was full of smoke. Then I looked at the weather setting and saw the lowest cloud level was at like 100ft. I raised that up and it fixed it.
Great video. can you do one for Yosemite? I have a mid range computer, so I'm afraid to upgrade to 2024 yet, but really want to see if Yosemite has improved.
If your computer works with 2020 it should be improved with 2024 (mostly). I normally run with a i12700K with a RTX3080TI and 128GB of RAM and it runs just great. I also tried it on an old 9700K with a GTX1080ti and 64GB of RAM and it runs, not well but it runs, it wouldn't even look at 2020. If you are on Game Pass give it a try it only takes 30 minutes to install these days. If you are in UK with either a Virgin or Vodafone ISP make sure you use a VPN or they will block access.
I feel like I saw some that looked like it near Yosemite, but I don't know if they would be out there IRL. Definitely taller than everything else, and same shape.
There are a few planes where you can select the pilot body. Some even had the head removed so you wouldn't accidentally lean back and see the inside of the face ... which is a bit creepy.

Love all the educational content!
Crater Lake in Idaho is worth a visit. It's quite remarkable, very deep, no streams or rivers in and out, high up.

@@MSFSFlightPlans where I can find that setting? Never saw it anywhere in 2024.

Nice channel you find some awesome places to fly
I wonder if there was redwood trees in California that you would be able to see in a Sim?
I feel like I saw some that looked like it near Yosemite, but I don't know if they would be out there IRL. Definitely taller than everything else, and same shape.
Giant Sequoia trees are found in Yosemite National Park. Look for them in the Mariposa Grove of Giant Sequoias!
Mt St Helens was a 5 unless they downgraded it recently.
You may be right. I get all my information from the internet, which is questionable at best.
It bothers me to see a copilot body and I'm invisible, wish my pilot had a body or the copilot was invisible.

I liked this video just because you said MAGA
