OMGEEEEEEEE!!!!! I have seen Snarky Puppy in concert 4 times! I Took my mom in 2018 to a Philly show. I took my sons to Auckland, New Zealand in 2019 and was frickin lucky enough to even catch them there!!! 😮❤😮❤ So I got to see them with my boys live. Yyyyup! I see them as much as I can and I'm in the military so that hasn't been easy over the years! I mean- I simply... LOVE... THIS...BAND!!! They look so happy on stage when they play. They look like they are having thee Best time ever. They are smiling, they are gettin down and admiring one another and laughing and just having a great time. It's so intimate. It's like they are just rehearsing and having fun but its so crisp and just... man- it's just EVERYthing!!! Like you said "Extraordinary!" Thank you for this reaction 🥰🥰🥰

Just saw them last Saturday. Got a picture with some of them and a signed tour poster. Micheal League is a ridiculously kind person.
This tripped me out so hard straight out the gate because I thought it sounded different. I had no idea they released an alternative take, but this is a cool way to find out lol

Saw SP live in Melbourne recently and was struck by how good the composition is. The playing - we all know they are great players, but the composition was
I was particularly happy when they released this take. Together with a friend, I was in that audience during the recording session in Dordrecht, the Netherlands. It was the first session out of 4, over 2 days, of which nothing reached the final DVD/CD. But as you can hear it was still a great and for us very memorable experience. In between the 2 recording sessions, musicians from Snarky Puppy and the Metropole Orkest played a jam sessions. (Where Cory Henry couldn’t wait to get a seat behind the drums…) That proves your assumptions about these orchestra musicians not improvising completely wrong. It also proves you don’t know much about the Metropole Orkest, its musicians and its history. There’s a reason why many musicians consider recording and/or playing with them a major highlight in their careers.

This Particular Orchestra does have some incredible soloist with phenomenal improv skills,,, I reacted to them backing up New York voices . this orchestra is top tier!!!!!
I can't say for certain of course, but I'd be willing to bet that there's probably no click track. I'm pretty sure they've always tried to keep these in-studio live recordings as organic as possible and as close to the true live experience as possible.

Michael League is so so talented. Don’t know if he is the composer of this. His arranging is also so inspired.
He writes most of the music for Snarky Puppy, yes. This is his composition as well. Arrangement is from him and James Buckley who also directs the Metropole Orchestra.

He and Jules Buckley arranged it together, Michael composed the music.

I am so mad you’re reacting to the alternate take and note to the one that originally made the album because the original take has two of my favorite solos of all time in it. The alt take is amazing but the album takes piano solo is my favorite like EVER

I’ll never understand why people watch me then say that. Just don’t watch. Watch someone who reacts and behaves how you want them to. When I find something on YT that doesn’t resonate with me, I just find something else. Move on.
