What a video. That 5 spoke mag wheel that was in the cage beside Elvis kh, was mounted right beside a spoke wheel, was on my 03 cvo anniversary road king only in chrome. A version of thebsame bike was in the vault at one time as well. Centennial gold with claw markings all down the tins and bags
I visited the HD Museum and was shocked at what was missing... 1984 FLHX Special Editions in birch white and black. Last of the FLH 4 spd. shovels. Only about 1,000 produced. Don't get it ??
Around 1915 C.H. Lang owned the first Harley-Davidson ever made. It was as famous then as the Elvis bike is today and was on display in his Chicago dealership. But then it went missing and was never mentioned or seen again. It's fate is the biggest Harley-Davidson mystery of all time. 😢
The fact they ate selling same basic bike they did 50 urs ago at huge prices. Not luke it cost crap to make no major changes or tech updates in decades. Why is cost so high they use same basic dies casts and line they did in 70s lol

Would love to get my hands on some of those hahah
It’s an amazing place! Are you interested in getting a tour?
you are amazing Man! This video is such a big help for all addicted to Hartley Davidson!
The new CVO with the strip headlight/fairing reminds of “Gort” in the 1950s movie The Day The Earth Stood Still .😊🤖

What a great video! I had to look through the cage a few times! Thank you for sharing! 👍💯

This is absolutely awesome to see something that i never heard of.
The Cage, really adds to the History of Harley Davidson.
The room is awesome. Hope you get a chance to visit the museum someday.

wow so nice big mutors.
They don't handle their way to loud, but they look good. My late dad was a Trump man 59 Bonneville with magneto.
Triumph made a Bonneville, too.
My God pls keep safe for driving, nice

I’m not complaining! 🙂
I enjoyed the trip down memory. I saw the Elvis bike many years ago at the York museum. Stay in the wind!
Thanks Fearsome! Ride safe.

Mine too!
Amazing video of an amazing place! Really enjoyed it! 👍 🇬🇧
Thanks Wolfie, I truly appreciate your support!
I might live in Scotland but I'm a Harley nut, in fact I'm a massive fan of the USA having lived, worked and travelled there over the years. 🇬🇧
@WOLFIE-96B-UK As a Scottish American, I love hearing that!

Good to see where my Harley will end up when I ride on haha enjoy
Yes. Such comfort. 🙂
Amazing video! nice sharing
Very Cool Brother!
Thanks PPG! Good to hear from you. Hope all is well and ride safe brother.
Beautiful bike motors
My Favorite Old School H-D has always been the 1977-1978 LowRider, The Gray with Red Lettering...I drool every time I see one.
“Hiding” not really
❤
Born in 57. Never really cared for Elvis, really didn't know who he was, till he died.
Hog slayer was a twin engine Norton not a triumph
Exactly. Hence the photo I superimposed.
Isn’t it funny how certain rooms just cause people to speak softly or almost whisper?
Did you finish the Barn Find Sporster in white? What happened to the starting video? I was upto the 900 miles on odo part.
Fantastic video! What a great insight, thanks for sharing.

What you say is simply not true at all.
@@trippontwowheels air cooled 2 valve pushrod v twin basically un changed in 50 yrs only thing they offer
@rt2255 Those bikes have changes every year and they’ve had water cooled bikes in their lineup since the 90’s. Now even electric bikes.

It’s a big job for sure. Thanks for watching Critter!
Great video Tripp. I felt like I was back in history class.
I hope it was a good class!
My son and I took a bike trip to the H-D Museum by way of a fast Lake Michigan Ferry. Great time, great museum.
Fantastic video, cant wait to visit from the UK x

I want to see the new 350 and 500 Harleys being made in China, HD got like 20% cut. LOL!

View it where?
Curious why there’s no K or KR Motor on display in the Engine Room at the Museum?
No idea. Sorry.
I work for HD. And I've the honor of visiting the vault. Never gets old.
Nice! What do you do for Harley Paul?
Why can’t they put the bikes on a HD internet accessible archive /library ?.
Good question and great idea!
The cleanliness of the floor is a clear indicator these bikes are drained of all fluids before entering this room.
Very true Mark.
Thank you for sharing. Must have been a incredible experience.

I was lucky enough to be in the vault this summer at the 120th event.
I was there during the 120th as well but didn’t get to go in! Glad you got the chance.
Awesome show 💯
Thanks! Much appreciated.
Wonder if they have a driveshaft Harley there. Only seen 2 in my life.
Good question! I would imagine they do l, but if I saw one I didn’t realize it at the time.
Thanks
You're welcome Dutty!
Thank you for sharing.
What a shame that all the bikes that should be out on the road are in a cage.
Gotta disagree. Those bikes serve a better purpose right where they are.
Da ta da, suuyper sporty!!
That was awesome Tripp. Thanks
You’re very welcome. I had a blast making this one!
I remember Miguel Duhammel racing the VR I believe.
Yep. He rode the crap out of it. Too bad Harley never could give him a bike that would actually finish a race.
Not secrets to reliability
I could watch hours of this , thank you very much
