Saejima is going to have a.......moment, but other than that he's also just crazy awesome, if Bae picks up Essence of Bell Ringing and some of his boss fights in 5.

BGM to Joji Kazama Fight - Lyricism without Tears BGM to Tamashiro Family Fight - Pure Malice BGM to Andre Richardson Fight - FM Sounds Storm BGM to Mine Fight - Fly And don't worry Bae, we all got hit hard by Rikiya's scene. Also, Bae probably would have benefitted from getting the full set of Komaki moves (Unless she just didn't use them) for fighting Joji. The Komaki Parry makes him a LOT more managable, plus using Dragon King Essence is just awesome. Plus, Kashiwagi (Yakuza 0) and Nishiki (Yakuza Kiwami) use some of his moves, a hint that Shintaro Kazama passed on some of him and his brother's moves to them.
Congrats on beating Yakuza 3! I can't believe we're 4 Yakuza games down. Looking forward to the rest of the sequels cause your playthrough has been fun to watch.
I hope the perms for yakuza 6 goes well because I heard there's some issues on that because of something. I really want her to experience 6 as it is honestly one of my personal favorites

Congratulations on marathoning and finishing Yakuza 3, Bae!! Despite feeling like Dad Simulator does drag on a little too long at parts and the combat being notoriously blocky, I really do enjoy Yakuza 3's story and could appreciate it even more watching through your playthrough of it with fresh eyes. I'm happy you had fun too! Kuroda's VA performance at the end of Ch 11 still remains the most impactful in my mind throughout the series (that I've played)... and still chokes me up no matter how many times I witness it. About getting to Majima game by its release date in February... I definitely wouldn't reccommend skipping any entries, but I also regret rushing through Yakuza 3-5 faster than I should've to catch up to 6 and kinda burning myself out on them by the time I did. It may be tricky to find a balance, but I wish you the best of luck in however you plan to continue enjoying Yakuza going forward! I'll be here for the journey for as long as it continues!

This game is so integral to Kiryu's character going forward; you'll be glad you played it even more when you hit the later games in the series, especially 5, 6, and 8. I know you wanna play the Majima game ASAP but like chat said it'll most likely spoil some things in 8 (and there's some peak Majima moments in that game), so I'd try to hold off and keep going in order if possible! You don't even have to do the side content of the other games if you don't want to; you can just do like you did it here and do side stuff that gives you better moves and just go through the main story from there. In Yakuza Kiwami Majima says that he sells trucks. The Pink Truck is probably something which he wanted to sell. Maybe he did not found somebody who wants a pink truck and now he is driving around with it.
Mine will always be my favorite final boss. The fight is awesome, and he was a great antagonist. A man who knew what he needed, but not how to get it. A great tragic villain
Yakuza 4 is longer, like maybe double than 3, but 5 is the longest in the Kiryu saga, like 30 hrs easily, luckily yakuza 6 like the same time than 3, but 7 is a rpg so in that are easily is 50 hrs but depend on grinding, and I haven’t play 8 but obviously is the same or even longer, I hear that have a animal crossing mini game that can be addictive and take several hours alone. So yea, I doubt you finish before the Majima game, but personally I recommend don’t skip 5 and 6, this have a more Haruka focus story, and are the end of Kiryu but also Haruka story.
Worst part is that unlike Yakuza 3, the substories are actually really good in Yakuza 4, and both the substories and various side activities are really good in Yakuza 5. So you're kinda missing out if you just beeline the story

Mine's story at the end, is a complicated moral dilemma. One being humanely putting someone, who is in a coma, down or not. The unsavory discussion of "what is right? Pulling the plug, or letting them try to get out of a coma?"
I was off by an hour but I was close in when you would finish the game. I said in pre chat around 4-5 maybe 7 if you went for all the moves and dad missions. Now we move on to 4 and boy is 4 fun unfortunately it's also the game where Majima has the least amount of involvement in the story.
And with that, another Yakuza game is finished! While it's still isn't my favourite in the series, the story and characters are still good for what they have to show. There were a lot of moments that made us laugh and cry. Also I really must stress, you seriously should not skip to Pirate Majima and not speedrun the next games too much. Not only does the side content have so much fun and hilarious stuff to offer, but all of it comes down to the best stories, character development and world building that I've seen in any video game series. It's seriously worth your time sticking to your guns and just playing them in order, you'll get to Majima eventually. Next up is 4, you're in for a ride with that one! Until next game!
Nice work finishing Yakuza 3! It was the hardest one for me to get through, but the finale with Mine is one of my favorites. The rest of the series is really good and I hope you play the rest, even if you play the upcoming Majima game out of order!

I developed separation syndrome in my second year of junior high school and it was tough, but I felt better after watching this stream.
I was off by an hour but I was close in when you would finish the game. I said in pre chat around 4-5 maybe 7 if you went for all the moves and dad missions.
Now we move on to 4 and boy is 4 fun unfortunately it's also the game where Majima has the least amount of involvement in the story.

And with that, another Yakuza game is finished! While it's still isn't my favourite in the series, the story and characters are still good for what they have to show. There were a lot of moments that made us laugh and cry.
Also I really must stress, you seriously should not skip to Pirate Majima and not speedrun the next games too much. Not only does the side content have so much fun and hilarious stuff to offer, but all of it comes down to the best stories, character development and world building that I've seen in any video game series. It's seriously worth your time sticking to your guns and just playing them in order, you'll get to Majima eventually.
Next up is 4, you're in for a ride with that one! Until next game!
Nice work finishing Yakuza 3! It was the hardest one for me to get through, but the finale with Mine is one of my favorites. The rest of the series is really good and I hope you play the rest, even if you play the upcoming Majima game out of order!

To get through it all before Pirate you'd probably have to only play the main story and skip most substories.

Trust me Yakuza 4 is pure fun, very easy to upgrade and has a lot of hype moments!
