That Bette and Robert scene was frickin' genius!! I love how she still tried to deliver her line, but ended up saying "You bastard!" instead!! LOL Does this scene go on any further? I'd love to see her hit him with the pillow!
lol Bette's laugh is infecticous!
Cool to see to see scenes out of 'Fountainhead' in the reels and the gaffes made in it!
I just LOVE Dane Clark!
LOL, Robert Montgomery and Bette at the end were hilarious!
Robert Montgomery the father of Elizabeth Montgomery.
This is brilliant. I love Niv - what a lovely gent. Thanks for sharing.
I love Bette’s laugh.
There seems to be a lot less swearing in these outtakes. I have to wonder if the studio cracked down on swearing on the set. I know John Ford didn't allow it when filming. Perhaps some other film makers tried to follow suit.
Ouch. Some of this can be sort of painful . . . when you know the real life background to it.
Neal's obvious affection for Cooper at 3:00 for example . . .
Nuts!!!
That was Robert Montgomery, father Of Elizabeth Montgomery of Bewitched fame.
Wayne Morris was a Navy flier that became a real Hero who shot down enough enemy planes to become an " Ace ".
hahaha you can hear bette davis slap him in the dark!
This was the last year I believe. WB did them from 1935-49.
4:19 Bette Davis 😊
Hmmmm...perhaps that should be called "A Slap in the Dark"? :) (Yes, I know it's "June Wedding," lol...)
Oh,poor baby(
“Nuts” must have been like saying “Fck” back in those days..
I love how nuts was a kind of clean curse word back then !!
@ConfusedSponge I believe WB did them every year from 1935 to 1949.
Whoops, make that "June Bride" -- I was close! :) LOL...
That wasn't Cary Grant with Bette Davis in the end. It was someone else! That was very funny though :D

It does go on a tiny bit further; she definitely throws it at him but it cuts off before it hits him.
