- Here's a couple more for you: the Warner Bros. annual blooper reel for 1946, technically called "Blow-Ups of 1946" I suppose. The quality isn't as nice as with the material taken from WHV DVDs, but it'll do.
Featuring Eve Arden, Edward Arnold, Lew Ayres, Lauren Bacall, Humphrey Bogart, Dane Clark, Jerome Cowan, Joan Crawford, Errol Flynn, Dick Foran, Thomas Mitchell, Dennis Morgan, Eleanor Parker, Claude Rains, Ronald Reagan, Ann Sheridan, etc.
Hearing Anne Sheridan call the other actor a schmuck always cracks me up.
I can't believe how calm some of them are considering how much longer scenes were than now. They were more like plays than movies. Imagine doing a super long scene in a movie, and, once it's almost over, someone messes up the line. I'd be PISSED.
The director in that case would usually cut the scene together. That's why these snippet are so short.
"You been getting any lately?" "Overtime you mean?" ha ha
BEST ONE🤣🤣😂😂
Loved Eve Arden! Thanks for posting these reels, they're always good for a laugh.
Good to see Ronnie just cutting it up here! Looks like he had no trouble saying “God Damn!” when he needed to. LOL!!
"Is it decently chilled?"
"NO. It's hot as hell."
I actually spit on the screen.
These things are nothing short of fabulous. Thanks for sharing!
This was very funny and almost cute when one of them messed up and they all started laughing
Quite a few of these bits, including that and the stuff with Ronald Reagan and Eleanor Parker's dress, are from a nifty movie called The Voice of the Turtle (1947). :)
These are wonderful bloopers I only wish the names of the movies would be listed with the bloopers
lmao, "around the queens ass". was not expecting that.
who's the guy making that crack at 8:25?
@@metrogoldwyn don't know.
@@metrogoldwynIt’s Clifton Young who made the crack. He was a child actor, played Bonedust in Our Gang comedies and also later a creepy villain in Dark Passage with Bogart and Bacall.
I can't say Claudie didn't look great sprawled upside-down on the steps. I have just had a portrait of him as Hollenius (when he crushes the champagne glass) tattooed on my right calf.
Getting any lately? Laid? Hmmm what is Mr. Reagan thinking about?? Lol funny! Great clips by the way!
6:37 i'm in love with.
that smile 🥺❤️✨
@nicoley132 Then she goes and tells Paul Henreid ANYWAY? Oh well... the movie arrived from Netflix on Wednesday and it's all I've watched since! I have not been so moved by a film since "The Night Porter"!
@BarnabasFrid Heh. My reaction when viewing that scene: "Noooo!! You just killed the best part of the picture!!"
What is the movie with Eve Arden and Ronald Reagan? The bloopers are hilarious!
The Voice of The Turtle. 1947
en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Voice_of_the_Turtle_(film)
They left out the blooper in "Deception" when Bette Davis shoots Claude Rains... oh, whoops.
@BSTO88 You're probably right. Sounds like it belongs in the movie. A few of these (throughout all the reels) aren't I believe actual bloopers or are pretty clearly staged.
I don't know about others, but the boxing match from Whiplash was from the movie.
@ConfusedSponge Unfortunately I don't have any more. Wish I did. Glad you enjoy these! :)
This is sure the funniest - wonderful!
@VintageBridgette The Unfaithful -- the sculpture in the foreground is of Ann Sheridan, or I should say the character she plays in the movie.
Hahaha...Eleanor Parker is ADORABLE!
"::gasp:: Can we do it over?"..after Ronnie tries a million times to get the dress off!
@Calvero416 The movie's called Silver River. The guy on the right is Errol Flynn.
Was 2:35 actually a blooper? Because they still used it in the film. I know you didn't compile these, so I guess there's no way of knowing. It's a great line either way!
@LuigiGodzillaGirl Well, this reel and the 47 one I got off a DVD called "Hollywood Bloopers" (check Amazon). I imagine the bloopers were never copyrighted and are in the public domain. There are more of them on the disc as well, along with some other outtakes; not sure offhand which ones exactly. Warner Home Video included the rest of the reels I've uploaded on official DVD releases as extras. They're spread out over several different DVDs and box sets. They're much better quality.
Was this the ONLY Joan Crawford blooper available? (And even then, she wasn't part of the joke here)
Can anyone tell me what is going on in the boxing clip? Is this a blooper because one of them accidentally really hits the other and then a real fight breaks out?
Whiplash and it is in the movie, real punch or not.
What did the director tell Eleanor Parker when dress fell.
8:17 The voice of George Jetson.
George O'Hanlon.
What is the name of the actor at 8:18 who said "AROUND THE QUEEN'S AS*" ? And What is the name of the movie?
Clifton Young, who was a former child actor and died tragically at age 33 in a hotel fire.Clip was from the Joe McDoakes serial, a series of shorts produced by Warners.I wanted to know the same thing
He looks like character actor from Bewitched that played the salesman that got turned into a mannequin
@NatureFillsMe It sounds like Ann Sheridan. But it's really hard to tell!
Rare Breakdown And Merrie Melodies music
@1983CUEVAS I think he said "yes without the gasp.."
What movie is 5:21? Or who is the guy with the mustach? He looks exactly like Kevin Klein.
I am not sure if the movie (maybe Silver River 1948?) but the actor is Errol Flynn.
what is 2:40
In Search Of Bigfoot?
Who is that gorgeous creature at 2:50 ?
Ann Sheridan.
Barton MacLane still can’t raise his ass off the ground, and the horse is unimpressed.
That was Barton MacLane? I thought it was Dick Foran.
That's Dick Foran. 11-5-2023
@nicoley132 OK Thanks
3:35 it sounds like todays American accent
@Maginel73 Ann Sheridan
What ever happened to Ronald Reagan?
