Thanks for such a nice comment! My personal preference is to make one jig for each finger size, just to keep things simple. I have one for 1/4" and one for 3/8", and that's all I've ever needed. To me, the beauty of this jig is just how simple it is, and it makes nice joints too. Best to you.

I went to your blog and tried to print the plan. It overlays the plans with the comments. Could you please make a PDF of the plan without the comments? Thanks
I made the plans available on the Sketchup 3D warehouse. Just search for "Box Joint Jig The Thoughtful Woodworker"
If you can't access Sketchup, here are the dimensions... Base 18 x 3", Fixed Fence 18 x 5", Sliding fence 17 x 4.25", Hardwood block for threaded stop 4.25 x 1.75 x 3/4". Make the key 3/8 x 3/8 x 1.5" long and place it in a slot in the sliding fence. Then clamp the sliding fence to the fixed fence so the key is 3/8" from the blade. There is also a 1/4" MDF sacrificial face that is loose. It just prevents tearout on your workpiece. Size it about 17 x 4.25" . Best to you.

@@TheThoughtfulWoodworker I only have a single-blade table saw so I can't use a Dado blade; your tutorial doesn't really address my situation and I guess a lot of others who have table saws that can only take a single blade.
@@johnrobinson1020 OK I see. Unfortunately, box joints aren't very fun without a dado blade. Router table perhaps, or find a jig designed for a single blade. Best of luck with it.
