Hi, you two! Cody, I have noticed that your sides are so much more even now, perhaps, as you say, because you did not leave and come back, but trust your Grandma, she's right when she says that the more you have a hook in your hand, the better things are! After YEARS of crochet, I can attest to the fact that even now, thousands of skeins behind me, I may still not have absolutely straignt sides! Love you two, and greetings to Irma for me!
I noticed his edges, too! I still struggle to get my edges straight with some stitches, but I don't have many yards of yarn behind me. I hope to improve with more experience.
I love watching you and your grandson together .family is everything and to like crochet hating together it's special to watch u together i loved the last one the ripple sample those colors were beautiful and I do like ripple afghan
I want to thank you two very much for your very informative videos! This is exactly what I need to assist me in trying to make various crocheted items for my large family. The reviews, samples and tutorials on various quick and easy stitches are absolutely wonderful! Thank you, thank you!
Thanks for another great watch video. These are my favorites, because it’s almost as good as going to the store and looking at the yarn in person. It is such a help tom see how they look when worked up.
Good afternoon Cody and Glenda, love your videos and love the way the two of you get along, it is fantastic. The two of you remind me of my grandson and myself. Love to all!
Hi Glenda & Cody. Thanks for showing the 6 colorways of Sundance Sweet yarn. I liked the Macaroon colorway & the stitch pattern you used, Glenda. Cody I also liked the ripple stitch you did on the colorway Jelly Beans. Jelly Beans for sure was my favorite of the 6 yarn colorways. ❤️
They are all very pretty. I like the colors in bubblegum colors but I agree about the dramatic color changes. I really didn’t like that there were spots of random colors in the lollipop color. My favorite stitch shown was the SC Cross-stitch. Thank you for doing these reviews and samples 😊
I liked all the colors on the skein but not the way the darker colors has splotches like they bled into the other colors especially the one who washed and dried. I liked the Kroller stitch, the SC/cross stitch, and the ripple stitch patterns the best. I still think this is one of those yarn colorways that would look best in the stockinette knit stitch like your Adie machine makes. Thanks for taking the time to make the swatches and for showing the pink swatch from a previous video. It is good to see that I am not the only one who makes mistakes. At least, you are a good sport Cody.
Hi Glenda and Cody! I love Herrschners, BTW! I've used three of the Sundance Sweets. They all feel soft in the skein. But the Gumdrop worked up like Red Heart Saver...a little rough! The Cotton Candy and Lollipop I haven't worked up yet. Thanks for your review and the swatches!
I like them all, but I love lollipop 🍭🤓. I'm gonna definitely have to look for your super easy ripple stitch tutorial 😁. I very much like that one and the crunch stitch. I love mindless crochet and one row repeats (or two).
Cody, the halo on the yarn shows best for us when you have it against a very dark background, like your grandma's chair, or a dark shirt..., not the yarn cubes.
They are all beautiful if I had to choose one it would have to be the same as yours. Just Love those colors. Happy crocheting and have a very Blessed Day.
I’m getting spoiled by gradient yarns and now find myself having a hard time with yarns that have stark, sudden color changes, and I’m avoiding them. While I love Herschners catalog of beautiful yarns, they don’t as a rule give a break on their expensive shipping. That turns me off from ordering. Thank you for working up the samples.
I’m falling in love with Herrschners yarn. It’s beautiful to work with. I’ve only used the worsted yarn. These samples are beautiful. I loved all of them. Love the ripple stitch pattern one. It was really hard to pick. The stitches make a huge difference,❤😊
I do love those neon brights in the last sample, the sc cross st is awesome 💯, thank you Cody and Glenda for all your dedication and great work ❤❤ the very last yarn is nice too,so so hard to choose,❤
I, too, like the Jelly Bean color-way the best. Great job on the samples. I love seeing all the different stitch patterns. I’m in a slump right now and seeing the different stitch patterns is pulling me in the direction of picking up my crochet hook again. I usually take on small projects but I have a friend who just moved into a new place and she’s decorating in a Seaside theme. So I am currently looking for a quick and easy Afghan/Throw design. I have been checking out your playlist with hopes in finding a pattern there. Thank you both so much! I appreciate all the work you do. 💞💖💞
I've used the lollipop for an open stitch dress/ coverup and I used the green apple for a present of a scarf and cap set. The yarn was ok, I liked the colors but it wasn't as soft as I thought it would be and it also doesn't have alot of yardage per cake so you need to buy alot of cakes for each project. The lollipop colorway is nice and bright and UV light reactive. The yarn is very warm and its thick, closer to a #5 weight chunky/ aran weight yarn than a #4. I really like the herrschners worsted 8 family of yarns and their 2 ply afghan yarn (and 2 ply afghan baby yarn in the solid colors, the variegated feels different it isn't as soft and it's much thinner. )
TY for showing the left behind swatch. The best way to show fuzz/halo is a black background. These are pretty yarns. TY for the swatches and reviews. We all have the same fav.
Good morning, I really enjoyed your video, my favorite is the last one, I loved that one. Thank you for showing the pink from the last video, I wondered where it was. That one was really pretty as well.
I love the neon one. I think you said that it was called Lollipop. I also liked the one that you guys said was your favorite. This two are really pretty. If I had enough yarn of those two colors, I would probably make a blanket for myself with them together. Thank you for sharing your thoughts on the yarn. I love watching these videos. See you tomorrow for your live.
Hello Glenda and Cody 🌻💖😊! Jelly Beans is my Favorite & I like all of the Colors. I can't wait to see the Baby Trio Yarns 💖😊. Thank Yall so much for all of Your Samples.
I buy about 99% of my yarns from Herrschner's. mostly worsted weights. I've used the Bernat blanket, and the ice cream , Bloom, Carron, mandala, etc. The only one I've had issues with was the Carron. It Shed like Crazy, especially when washed.
I’ve made several toddler throws using this yarn. It’s durable and can hold up to a toddler dragging their blanket through the house. I buy it when it’s on sale at Herrschner’s for 5 for $15.00. 😊
Thanks for the swatches. I like the colors. I have stopped using red heart super saver for a few years because of bad spots in the yarn, completely different shades from the same lot, and extreme pilling.
Thank you for reviewing this yarn. I've been looking at it for a long time. Herrschner's is regional to me so I always like to shop there if I can find something comparable to other types that I like. They have some of the best prices on some of their superwash wool and alpaca fiber content yarns. Herrschner's has always been great about customer support for me as well. Gumdrops and Lollipops are my favorite colorways, but Macaroon is high on the list since watching the video. For those high contrast stripes of color, maybe a seed stitch type swatch might look great. I find it really helps blend those transitions.

Cody, regarding you accidentally cutting out some of the pink sample, we have a sayin in our family. Oh, you human you! 😉
Where do I find the stitch "crowler"?
just type in creative grandma kroller stitch :)
I am so happy that you and Cody are able to spend so much time/fun together.💜
I noticed the Bee and the Gingerbread man in the same cubicle. I loved all the samples.
Very pretty yarn, I love to see the swatches!
Hi 👋 I loved working with Hershners baby yarn 😍. The yarns I made baby blankets from were very soft, and made them turn out beautiful IMHO.

Those are all awesome colors. I love herrschners yarns and have been a happy customer.
I love all the colors! I agree that with different stitches the colors would pop. Thank you for this. ❤
❤️
The colors are pretty ❤. I think that last one is my favorite too
I love the Sundance yarn. I have made your blanket in 3 or 4 of the colors. Jelly bean is my favorite
I liked jellybean! Looks really great! You both are so crafty, I love watching you both! Have a wonderful day!❤❤❤
❤️
I like the Jellybean colorway the best, the sample and the blanket are so pretty. Thank you for sharing!
I like the jelly bean colorway and the pink/purple
Pretty yarns. I likes the first sampler
They are all very pretty. I like the colors in bubblegum colors but I agree about the dramatic color changes. I really didn’t like that there were spots of random colors in the lollipop color. My favorite stitch shown was the SC Cross-stitch. Thank you for doing these reviews and samples 😊

They are all pretty but I’m not crazy about the abrupt color changes. My favorite was the one you and Cody picked ❤
Lots of information! Appreciate you two so much!
❤️

Beautiful yarn and another awesome job on the swatches, Cody and Glenda! I loved the same one you guys did.
Thanks very much for your support cheifk8 it makes a big difference ❤️
Thank You so much for your continued support of the channel. Your support is greatly appreciated.
Hi Glenda and Cody! I love Herrschners, BTW!

Thanks for your review and the swatches!
All of these colors are nice. My favorite is jelly beans. That quick easy ripple stitch really caught my eye. 😊
Oh my goodness I love that blanket ❤
I love your videos. You 2 are great together. ❤
❤️
I like them all, but I love lollipop 🍭🤓. I'm gonna definitely have to look for your super easy ripple stitch tutorial 😁. I very much like that one and the crunch stitch. I love mindless crochet and one row repeats (or two).
I have used this yarn for a few baby blankets in several of the color ways. I haven’t had any issues with it. I think it’s a good yarn for the money.
I liked the last sample. I like bright bold colors. Cody makes such awesome samples 🤗
At first I was going to say I loved the colors in the skein but not worked up but then I saw Jelly Beans and I really like it worked up!
Cody, the halo on the yarn shows best for us when you have it against a very dark background, like your grandma's chair, or a dark shirt..., not the yarn cubes.
I love them all. Thank you! ❤
Hello Glenda and Cody. Nice work again. I like the Maroon.
Jelly beans is also my favorite, beautyful colors. Thanks again ❤
Ohhh, those peach and pinks are my favorite colors ❤❤
A child might really like that it's fuzzy.I like the ripple sample best. Not because of the color but more because of the pattern. ❤😊
My favorite was the last skein also! Those colors were quite pleasing together. Thanks so much for the review!
-Brenda
Good morning! Jelly beans is my favorite color, the sample worked up beautifully.

HI GLENDA & CODY. LOTS OF BEAUTIFUL COLORS. JELLYBEAN WAS MY FAVORITE. THANK YOU FOR ALL YOU DO 💓🙂💓
I’m getting spoiled by gradient yarns and now find myself having a hard time with yarns that have stark, sudden color changes, and I’m avoiding them. The colors are all beautiful but I agree with you both as the favorite one.
My fave colorway worked up is the Lolipop colorway! That blanket is Chefs Kiss!
Great job, loved all the samples. Thanks for doing the swatches
Great video, loved Jelly Bean the best.😀
❤️
I am using the Macaroon but I’m color controlling it for a year of granny squares (about 20 of them). It works up nice and I really like it
Pretty yarns. That last one I think you said lollipop was real pretty. that ripple swatch looked good. I vote for the lollipop. Thanks for the video.
