Love the flower power yarn makes up cool 😎 you all worked hard and know it took a lot of time, if you film doing one would be so cool if you got time. Great work you all. This would make a great all different color flower 🌸 blanket 😊 .
Thanks for watching everyone ❤ Hope you enjoyed todays video and watched the whole thing 🙏😂 we are 12 members away from our goal! I gotta get back to making swatches! Bye 👋
Cody, you should be so proud of yourself! You do such nice work and apparently have the world of patience! Wish I had your patience! Again, keep up the good work. I enjoy watching you and your Grandma,❤❤❤❤
Cody looking good with your hair cut. I found the Flower Power yarn at Joann yesterday got it 50% off coupon and its on sale for 7.99 everyone needs to try it.
I adore Cody’s hair cut, l love you both and you are both very talented. I try and watch everyone of your tutorials. I live in Northern Ireland and have been crocheting for about 5yrs now, and have gotten better by watching your tutorials ❤
Red Heart is durable, but it softens up after washing and put in fabric softener. I too have afghans that are over 40 yrs old and are still vibrant as the day I made them. Their color coordinating chart also on Inspirations is a great help also.
Love your haircut Cody. I am so impressed that you enjoy crocheting so much. You have a real talent for it. Glenda yoh are such a talent, and I love visiting with you and Cody. Bless you both.
Cody and Glenda, I’m gonna play your color game: On the label picture, the petals look like a very light blue. The sample is clearly white. This is the result of creating media. Could be due to the filters or light they used in the studio when they took the picture, or the filters they applied prior to printing, or even the way the printer was set up. And then it’s also affected by your lighting in the studio and the adjustments on my tablet. Lastly, the brain will interpret differently based on our lighting and the contrast of the colors. So, many variables to contend with. That’s why it’s so important to see the yarn in person and why it’s so nice that you both describe the colors when you look at yarn samples and skeins. Thank you for the work you do. Hugs. Side note: I love both Clover and Susan Bates. They’re both my go to’s. ❤
For a different method that avoids the "hairy'" look across the top of the petals, where the next colour is sort of jaggedly going into the petals from the original method, I wanted to suggest working into both the back loop and then the loop behind that (third loop) to get a much cleaner look to the petals and a much smoother looking finish overall! I read a similar suggestion on a different channel but they said to go into the back loop of the stitch when you're starting the 4th round, but then I found working into the third loop as well helped the petals to stand out much better. I haven't got the cherry blossom colour way yet but I think it would help that to stand out and be more noticeable, so wanted to pass this on in hopes that it helps others out! Also definitely keep an eye out for the other colour ways, there is one especially that you would like I'm sure Glenda, as it has a lovely pink flower with a nice jade green for the last three rounds, much like the colours in the dress you're wearing. I don't remember the name of it but that's just one, but there are about 7 other colour ways besides what they had on the end cap that you were looking at, so go and have a look at the website to see the other colours available!
I love the dark purple background or Cody's sample with the green. I could see a blanket with a green square and a soft brown between the squares and as a border. I would look like a field of wildflowers!
I saw white in the square in question and like the Whisteria square the best. I was gifted a no brand name hook set from Amazon like your Clover set and I love them! Want to buy just one H Clover hook to compare. Nice job, Cody!
I got a set from there as well that seems to be much like the Clover hooks, even a lot of them being the same colour handles, like brown for the 6mm. Did yours come with a lovely blue material pouch with pink and yellow roses on it??
Cody: Suggestion for color identification: take the yarn by the window so that you can observe the colors in sunlight, because fluorescent lighting does not give off true colors. Whenever I shop I always take my items by a window and it has definitely improved my satisfaction with color ways. Really enjoyed your samples today. Thanks to you and Grandma!
I love your suggestion of buying one skein to get the pattern and then creating your own color combos!!! Great job Cody on the samples!!! I actually like the scrap sample the best…really nice contrast of colors!!! The one with the color in question looks white to me. Thanks for sharing!!! Stay safe and be blessed ❤
Forget Me Not, is my favorite, and I also really like the dried flowers, brown colors one. It is a pretty crochet square. Thanks Again Cody, for all your work making these for us!! Oh and by the way, your haircut looks real nice. Take Care, Blessings 💕
What a super video! Thanks so much for the Flower Power swatches! Good job Cody! It’s hard to choose a favourite as they are all so nice. Much appreciated!
Just love you two! My favorite is the brown and rust--I love fall colors. The purple is a close second. Thanks for all you do--your videos always make my day! ❤
I love the purple, my sister, my nieces, my brother's also love purple, my mother's was green, my daughter loves blues and my granddaughter her colors keep changing
Very very nice samples Cody, I've croched for over 60 yrs, I crochet very consistent, not tight but not loose either, I really can't justify buying the flower power yarn. I have so so much yarn that I can't be bothered by possibly getting flustered over making it work out, I'm very perfectionist,so I'll just make a scrap flower power blanket or shawl,scarf.... The list goes on and on and MANY videos of these flower squares online free, love you both, ohh, and Cody,on the yarn wrapper it definitely looks blue to me but the actual skein and your sample looks white, the factory printers are just not accurate, I find that quite often on labels. Great video, thank you both ❤❤
Really interesting! My son tells me that men and boys don't see all the shades of color that females see. I have randomly, I am subscribed and I do get all the notifications. Love watching! Thanks!
Cute flower pattern! Smart idea to purchase one for the pattern and make with own colors! My favorite was the green one! Another informative video, thanks 😊

Cody, I feel your frustration. I can't read a pattern either. THIS is why these tutorials are SOOO helpful. 🥰

Clover hooks are my favorite also. Could crochet all day.

Light blue, great samples. The middle of the skein looks white. Love the haircut Cody🥰 The blue flower and white background is my favorite.
Hi from UK. Many years ago, my Grandma would put a touch of blue powder into her white washing, to make it whiter or to keep it white. 🧶💕
I totally agree with Cody on his choice of hooks. I have been using them for 4 years now, I have multiples of my most used sizes.
Thanks for all your updates on yarns. Hope your mom is doing well!❤
The Flower Power is so pretty!:Thanks for showing us!
