And this is a Public Announcement for any EPL devotees.. This is what football used to be like!..Great goals and exciting football played on some awful surfaces!.The Ball they played with was a good weight, hard but consistent, the tackling was tough ,but mostly fair, where players took some, but also dished out plenty...Far less glitzy, but with far more substance..As these goals testify!
I don,t care what any tip e tappy coach says says ...get the ball into the opponents 3rd as quickly as possible and play from there ...goalkeepers trying to do nutmegs and cruyff turns in their own box is a recipe for disaster as we see every week !!!!!!
They'd probably all be disallowed nowadays having been referred to VAR for 10 minutes in each game by a totally biased "referee". No wonder I only have a passing interest in football these days . Great , great goals from a proper era of football presented by the legend himself ❤⚽🇬🇧
Goal A
Brian Moore was the Best always the Best
He was Football
Happy days 😙
That year Forest won the European Cup at Madrid. Will never forget it.
They were all really good goals
The sublime Glenn Hoddle.
Hoddle truly was something special. Greatest talent of his generation. Criminally underused by Greenwood and Robson.
Love the Tommy Cassidy commentator...
Roger Thames . The worst commentator in the whole world
Quality! Was there anything better than sticking on Star Soccer on a Sunday afternoon and listening to the great Hugh Johns?
Huge Ons

Some of the assists were more impressive than were the finishes, but I'd have to go DEFACB
It should be haircut of the year, and the winner is Tony Morley!
I was fond of Eric Gates's mop!
Where was Justin Fashanu's goal v Liverpool?
It was shown by BBC's Match of The Day, and won that competition.

I was wondering that too.
Goal of the decade IMO !
Tony Morley Vs Everton goal of decade.match of day
Look like 70s / 80s British football ... Sounds like Monty Python.
How much better than the var enduced, diving, feigning crap we have to put up with now..
Up the villa.
The Hoddle goal was amazing. The ball never touched the ground from the keepers kick.
Both Hoddle goals have amazing quality
Such a two footed player
Glenn hoddles volley the best 👌👌
Result was
1st Hoddle v Forest
2nd Hoddle v Birmingham
3rd Boyer
4th Morley
5th Gates
6th Cassidy
All goals for the home side.
I would go,
A
B
E, to break up the Hoddle dominance a little.

i guess you was a Watford fan around then
Justin Fashanu's goal (you know the one) not making top six!? Really! Fucking Really!?
ITV didn’t broadcast that game, so they couldn’t include it
That goal made the 101 great goals video
that's cos it won goal of the season on the BBC
