Hey in your 3.3.5 resto guide you mention the 23 haste cloak enchant for back can I assume this is the best enchant I can get for rdruid if I don’t have tailoring?
For SP no. Before each tick that a dot will do, the total SP of the caster is calculated and that translates into damage for the tick. For example if CTS proc after you casted corruption, unstable affliction, agony, they will still benefit from the proc starting from the following tick after cts proced. Now there is a special case for corruption, which can keep some effects in a permanent way. These two effects are Crit (E.g. potion of wild magic, Nevermelting ice crystal trinket) damage modifiers (e.g. TOT, T10 proc). This mechanic is called corruption rolling and as an affliction you should really use it to your advantage.
I don't think there is anything more useful than nitro boots compared to 50 spell power that won't really change the world especially in icc. They can completely negate pesonal/group and all kind of mistakes even for the most mobile classes even if it is just optimize nourish uptime in certain cases. One dash cost 100 gcd meanwhile nitro boots like nothing.
what? 100 gcd? its average is about 72 spell power by the way not 50, and youll also have cheetah for sindy lets not forget. honestly though, if you are struggling with anything in ICC you should probably learn to play better no offense. This video was made more to talk about why the procs from the ring and tailor outweigh static spell power gain. If druids needed haste sure engi might be more viable, but it legit helps us with nothing. you might use rocket boots what? maybe if you get defile? other than that its really wasted. if you understand positioning youll never have to worry about rocket boots. Our job is to heal not to worry about what might happen if you get defile. youll want to boost your healing in any way possible and thats a huge chunk of spell power to be giving up. if it was 10 or less then yea maybe i would see your point.
@@Redemptionproject09 I was talking about your second choice which in this video is jc or anything that give static spellpower like 46-50.Spreading defile doesn't depends just on you,but on everyone around you too and it isn't the only place it helps. You can take furthest possible position after the vile spirits cast so you can optimise your nourish spam or during the second time you need to move.Going into cheetah, cat form or anything is hps loss by same logic, but nitro boots cost nothing. On blood queen you can spread perfectly the flames over the edge.Even for princes if any dps whore for damage, but anything below pp and lk is too easy even on zero buff to really bother talking about still can help anywhere. Most of the wipes are caused, because of the lack of consistent flow of heals , badly optimised cds or fucked mechanics or healers just doesn't know their classes not really because of lack of hps potential especially over 6k and in bis gear is like out of the question
@@t.g7545 but your missing the point i think with this. Your job is to heal not to go for things that could help you maybe if a situation arrives where it could be useful while giving up healing which is much more useful to you bc you are a healer, your job is to keep the raid alive. Why would lower your ability to keep others alive? do you see how that is counterproductive to your argument? spending a GCD to pop kitty dash is far less of a healing loss vs giving up nearly 50 spell power on every heal. Because of how resto druids work with hots we essentially have more healing done (not talking about meters talking about actual ticks of heals) through ticks alone than any other healer by far. That is why spell power far outweighs anything else for us. We are the most mobile healers in the game you dont need rocket boots to continue to do your job. Im not saying i dont see the usefulness or understand it (all my dps have engi) but if you are doing your job and positioning well there is never a time when youll need them nor is there a time where outweigh the spell power gains. I have never used engineering on my resto druid. I never would. The sacrifice is too great. Maybe if they had something other than haste buff for hands but in terms of min/maxing? no. Again this is assuming you even need to use them. IDK how many raids ive done where i never get a defile or something that requires me to move now and i mean really fast now. The chance of that happening is so low vs losing out on a ton of spell power does not justify the cost. Sure on other healers who actually benefit from haste absolutely its good on those healers.
Yes but bc holy is not a more hot based class they won't see the same benefits a resto druid would. They have some hots sure but holy really relies on large chunks of damage to do well. More of a reaction healer vs preemptive one. And since they can't roll as many hots as a druid they would lose the benefit.

Yes.
Can similar logic be applied to affliction warlock?

Is it safe to assume that the same thing applies to holy priest then?
