Question: at 7:46 your opponent attempted to disenchant blood moon as it was being cast. Is that possible? I am operating from the understanding that instant cards like disenchant only work on spells that have resolved (unless it’s a counter spell), which would mean all his non-basic lands are now mountains. There would be no white mana to cast disenchant after blood moon resolved on the battlefield. Please correct me if my observation is wrong.
They floated the mana. Mana only goes away at the end of the phase so one can tap lands in response to Bloodmoon and then use the mana after letting it resolve.
Blood moons were effective in the 1st game but Brian Weissman called the Serendib Efreet the most powerful creature in the whole Old School MTG format. Maybe the Su-Chi/Blood Moon/City in a Bottle would be better in the sideboard? 1 Serendib Djinn and 1 Mahamoti Djinn and or Shivan Dragon could be cool as well. Alternatively, you could keep the deck as is and the sideboard in the Serendib Efreets and other Arabian nights? Also, I know they are easier to kill but I like Juggernauts more than Su-Chi...then you don't have your Mana burn issue and with counter magic they would be a bit more protected. Only 4 Juggernaut hits is 20 damage and a Maze of Ith could also protect them if they are forced to attack.
The meta changed since then. More and more players have started playing ciab and maze has been unrestricted. That has made some impact on the playability of Efreet (still an awesome creature)
Legends was such an incredible set. Probably one of the best in all of MTG.
True and the set seems endless, so many unique cards and abilities.
I agree.
Nice deck Timmy
Counter/Burn is one of my favorite combos
Blood Moon can be so annoying.
Wheel, Bolt and Moon = red power
The idea to exile the Library as a Gentlemen rule is brilliant! 😀👌
It is great. I didn't make it up btw, you have an fb group, facebook.com/groups/332683040787736/
Lovely decks, and interesting matches! 😊
Thanks Robert 👍
That delay with the orb was probably you realizing that the city in the bottle was going to take care of your target 😀
Mooi cliffhanger Thomas. ;-)
We moeten er toch een beetje een show van maken 🙌
@@TimmytheSorcerer Absoluut! Goed bezig.

Hi Ian, you can check out the community posts of this channel. I regularly post deck pictures there or take a look at my insta and/or Rich's insta.
How beautiful is Blood Moon? Love it. Great decks! Would some Telekinesis go in the Counter/Burn?
Telekinesis, love it 👍
Tough match!!!!
Blood moon was such a killer in this match up

Is telekinesis required to be used when an opponent attacks with a creature? Or can it be used anytime?
I don’t think so, you should be able to tap it before combat ☝️
its in spanish
I know, my bad! Sorry, it's so obvious 🙇
