Join us as we finally reach the mountains and conquer a Fourteener! Driving up Pikes Peak is not for the fainthearted, especially on a busy Saturday, but the breathtaking views make it worth the trip. The summit, covered in snow, has changed over the years since we first visited when our kids were in middle school. The drive up and down is stunning, though we had to use lower gears to avoid overheating our brakes. This is a must-do adventure for anyone who hasn't experienced it.
