- Here are some simple hacks, tips and tricks that helped me survive architecture school. I compiled some of my favorite shortcuts in drafting and everyday school life hacks that I used all the time in Architecture School. This is the 3rd video in my popular (not really haha!) video series, Architecture Student Hacks.
In this video i teach you guys the fastest and easiest way to trace drawing, How to layout areas using Furniture blocks, How to divide a line without a calculator, how to improve your freehand skills, and the fastest way to make a title block.
There's also bonus content at the end of the video on how to clean your drafting tools.

Smile Hoseok these hacks would have made my life easier hahaha especially the title block one because i take an entire night to make 30 title blocks on a 20x30 paper. I love to take long breaks xD
Yup you need all the hacks you could get if you want to survive architecture and still have time for fun haha!!:)

I'm a G9 student and a aspiring Archi Student, I learned a lot from your videos, and I hope it may help me in the future. Kudos kuya Llyan
The first hack is great, I’ve also used a picture frame. I went and bought a 36x24” picture frame from Michaels on sale under $10 and removed the poster. Then I just taped blocks along the perimeter and use my phone or tablet flashlight below it. I can set it up on the table and trace larger images. Also have a smaller one for smaller images

Never thought of the furniture thingys to sketch a quick floorplan with an scale, its actually pretty uselful!!. Gonna use that one, i thing I could probably take them to the laser cutter that way I could use mdf.

Another way I use a use a tape which is transparent and then cover it with the Ruler and it will be Durable and you will have a nice clean paper after you finish your drawing with it.

I don't need the last hack because when I was a wee little kid, my father scolded me badly because I couldn't draw the answer lines for subtraction without a ruler.

if you have black smudges on your paper from your ruler, you could just take a clear tape and tape numbers on your ruler or you could also take a clear nail polish and paint numbers on your ruler...
