I have had a 2007 sportster (3 years), 2010 heritage softail (10 years), and now a 2019 street glide special (3 years). Without a doubt, the SGS is the best bike I have owned. My SGS can be loaded up with a tour pack and go on a long road trip or stripped down for tooling around town. A very versatile machine and so much more comfort for the long haul then my previous two bikes. I am riding my 2019 SGS from Laconia, NH to Sturgis this year and I can't wait. I get about 42mpg. Might be a little less on this year's trip because we take rte. 90 and well it sort of is the speed limit on that road too 🙂

This is an age old topic, much like tires, plugs, fuel, etc..
Whatever works for your scoot - use it!
Personally, I use Bel-Ray products (dino) in all 3 holes for both bikes (14 FLHTK & 15 FLHR)
Thx for the video - keep the rubber side down...
I have 3 HD motorcycles. I use motul synthetic. It comes in 4liter bottles, per Oz it's cheaper than all the rest. I've tried them all. HD oil is very good but is the most expensive. One thing about motel is it's cherry color. When it turns brown you know it's time to change. With the extreme heat conditions here in Florida we don't rely on mileage to determine when to change. Color! Heat is our enemy!🔥👍✌️😁
(1)Torco V-series SS 20W50 is the best I have seen in real world test / usage. (2) Motul and Mobil 1 is second choice.
Thanks for your feedback.
is torco syn-ester, mineral, or semi-syn. how long have you used it and in what bike. i agree wt mobil 1, notul i have never used, in any harley.
@@martinwall7297 Ck out Torco web sight, the SS is fully synthetic, They have another type that is a syn-blend too I think , I used in 2019 Harley Road glide M-8, Volatility of oil doesn't start to diminish until over 4,000 miles where the others I mentioned do, Their gear oil ( for Transmission ) is the best so far, A little pricey, but I have had no mechanical failures of any kind.
Redline .
Redline really quits down the valve train on my 96 but it's way too expensive if you are doing alot of changes
