You sold me.. I just ordered 2 V-Twin oil change kits and a couple of quarts of the Primary & Transmission oils. It’s better for the bike and cheaper than the H-D dealer. Win-Win…😉👍
First time using Amsoil today have been a Syn3 user until today and will NEVER go back. I will tell you this totally blew all expectations out of the water . Had 45min ride home and was amazed at the difference in shifting and running and cooler engine temps .
I have a 2013 Jeep Wrangler. I normally got 17mpg, maybe 18 if I babied it. I changed both diffs, transfer case, manual transmission and engine oils to Amsoil. I now get 20-21 mpg!!
I looked up my 2023 HD Street glide ST and it would not display the VTwin transmission fluid. It only displayed the 20w50 for the transmission. Is the Amsoil v-twin transmission not recommended for the M8?
Replace my clutch cable and went with Amsoil transmission fluid on the refill. My bike does shift better. Can't say if it is just the Amsoil or both the clutch cable and Amsoil. Gonna try their primary fluid next.
Is there anything different between this and the severe gear 75-110? I have been using this in my Harleys for 10+ years. I used Amasil 20-50 in my trans on my street Bob last year and I didnt like it. Shifts were clunky compared to the severe gear.. I have always used amsoil v twin 20-50 in my primary and its great.
Would a oil additive like Comp Cams that add back the zinc and phosphorus to the oil make it even better since they don't add it anymore because of the catalytic converters on newer vehicles.🤔
I do not EVER recommend adding another companies chemistry to ours....Amsoil is an advanced product using proprietary chemistry....you won't make it better....you'll throw the formulation out of balance and make it worse....plus void our warranty to boot!

That is your choice...putting 20W/50 in all three sumps is fine....or going with the separate products is fine too. Typically , you'll see better performance with the separate products....but its your choice.
I just ran a 5k ride with Ams oil 20/50 in my 2018 Indian Roadmaster now I'm hearing lifter chatter like the bike is starving for oil vs the indian 20/40 specs say I can run up to 15/60
Harley doesn't recommend amsoil oil to be used in any motorcycle they make. Please stop making it sound like Harley says it's ok to use amsoil. They recommend their oil or diesel oil, no other brand. Sure you can use any oil you want, but it will not in any country on earth, be recommended by Harley. A Harley dealer may even sell amsoil, but that is not a Harley corporate recommendation.,,

I’ve got about 5700 miles on my 2010 Fatboy, and I think I’m gonna switch to this method going forward.

Just banged amsoil in my Night train box in the last half hour. I'll be back to report as it was its first gearbox oil change it's had.
I stopped the Harley same oil , three hole and switched to dedicated for each hole . 100% better all around.

Why does the Amsoil 20/50 seem to make my '08 ultra and my 2011 Tri-glide engine sound noisier as opposed to regular HD conventional 20/50?

Im guessing these three vary from year to year?... My HD is recommended the same Amsoil 20-50 for all three fluids on your site...
Is it okay to switch to full synthetic on a old shovelhead? You hear about leaks after switching.

Yeah.....castor based two-stroke products like Klotz are very specialized and a pretty small market and we don't offer them

Motorcycles with combined oil sumps use the appropriate weight of Motorcycle engine oil.
