    Hi guys! Here is a quick tutorial video on how to make a Wizard bracer from Diablo 3 with Worbla and craft foam. It took about 2 hours to make the bracer and I recorded every step for you!
    Sorry old video - there is no face and voice this time (was in a hurry and still wanted to make this video). However I included English subtitles to explain a bit more! Hope it helps!

    Would you mind also sharing your process for going about adding the fastenings and all the pieces you need to actually wear the armor?

    Wish you'd do more of these. I don't care if it's a tutorial or not, but I like seeing crafters work when they're really good. Been trying to set up of me working kind of like this. Need to sit down and edit videos -_- I've got 2 videos up on that channel, but probably enough material for like 6 more already filmed, lol.

      The second video is already almost done! This time I show how my husband Benni paints my stuff!
      We both were pretty busy lately, but I really plan to upload more and more in the future again, so thanks for the patience!

      I know how that is. I uploaded my first 2 videos probably a month ago. And like I said, I've filmed a bunch of stuff, but all kinds of things came up in between my uploading the original ones and me being able to sit down and edit more videos -_-

    Thanks for the tut. A slight suggestion: you should add a black outline to the white text, it can get a bit difficult to read, especially when there's even more white in the background. I often had to pause it, which seems minor, but the music's good too and you never really want to pause when listening to music?

    This is so incredibly helpful. I've struggled with covering up seams for a while, and after connecting to large leg part I get scared to mess up the whole thing and waste my material, so I'll definitely try out this method. I just want to know how you get the worbla dust off entirely after using a dremel? It seems to always stick to my pieces and it looks really ugly and grainy.

    So wie du das machst wirkt es so "einfach" ... und dass du damit so ein Ergebnis erzielst bewundere ich sehr. Aber es ist längst nicht so einfach, wie ich es in meinem Gleichmut dachte. .__. Habe heute mit meinem ersten "Armor Cosplay" angefangen und ich muss sagen: WoW! (wow cosplay XD) Du hast echt eine Menge Talent und Feingefühl für solche Dinge. Es ist schwer aber ich werde mir Mühe geben es nur halbwegs so gut hinzubekommen. Wenn ich nochmal das Glück habe dich auf einer Con zu treffen kannst du mir ja sicher auch noch einige Tipps geben. =3 Würde mich sehr darauf freuen.

    Thanks this is great, I subbed and starting to design on paper now but for my dolls. They are very tiny so it's going to be difficult.
    I wonder if you have some hints how to connect some metal half rings that I can use to bind the bracers with but the scale is 1:3 so it's small and I cannot have anything sharp sticking out for damage on their skin.

      @oddums 8 лет назад

      Personally, I've recently invested in Worbla and it was only a half sheet but it cost me about $50. It isn't to expensive for the quality of the material though and it's pretty easy to work with once you get the hang of it.

      +xaznxthaigerx Yes, you need to do some priming. But you'll notice that, as soon as you touch it. The surface is a bit rough. She uses a couple of wood glue layers before painting it. White school glue will work as well (I know many in the US know that type of glue).

      Worbla needs a really high temp from a heat gun to get it to be malleable. Body heat is nowhere near hot enough to do it.
