I love this donkey-squirrel-rabbit
Stetched rabbit I saw but you got it right.
Lol
i see a little deer too
Kangaroo-rabbit you mean
that should have been her name. Skrabbit (Squirrel-kangaroo-rabbit_)
I have been clicker training my pet rats. I have learned so many techniques from watching your videos. Currently, on command, they will jump in to my hand, spin around, roll over, fetch a small ball, and my personal favorite: boop my nose with their tiny hands.
That's adorable.
I have trained my rats too, one could spin without me saying any word or making any movement, was funny to see people wondering how he could understand the order. Little secret trick ;) I miss him so much.
@@Nit2315my babies do the same! With out me asking to, they spin in circles and come up to me an boop my nose. They are essentially begging when they do that and I give in cause it is so heckin cute! I guess that means they have trained me
Yeah but can they sit on your head and puppet you into making delicious food. Lol. All jokes aside great job with all the different tricks. Especially the booping you on the nose one.
Sooo sweet bop my nose hurts? 😅
GOD, if she isn't the cutest thing i've ever seen! i love her little noises, and how much they sound like guinea pigs!
This is actually a Patagonian Mara, just one of several members of the Cavy (Caviidae) family, and it sounds like a guinea pig because guinea pigs are also in the Cavy family😊
Bass Guinea Pigs.
7:30 I love how you said "you and the other animal", not "you and the animal". It's wonderful to see the bond of love and respect between you and all the animals you take care of
nice catch! Yeah, wow. Such a great and respectful way to word it.
I AM HERE FOR THIS.
Cayenne is also the capital of French Guiana, my hometown
I live in the French part of Winnipeg Canada and I actually know a person who is from there
Does the spice come from there?
@@legitreason3973 yes ! We are like the most well known unknow city ahah
@@thibault973 Well that's my fun fact of the day, now to find out who invented toothpaste.
LegitReason Walter Colgate III. Duke of Edinburgh
Yay! It's the name I suggested. I'm so glad it's a wonderful fit for her. And I'm so excited to watch her grow !
Btw good point I think her name should be cavy motivated lol 😂
Oh, I thought those whistles were the pigs in the background! Their family has such cute vocalizations
Love her
I half Expected the name to be Cavy McCavyFace
"Donalda Trump" would have been a good name as well.
@@eaterdrinker000 Nuuu the cutie is much smarter!
I’m so happy she finally got her own video. I’ve see her on the Instagram for few weeks.
Cayenne is super cute and she did really well in her first training session. It always amazes me how quickly some animals catch on. I started training our dog Max when we first got him and he learned the basics pretty quickly. Im so happy that Chili Pepper accepted Cayenne as a new buddy. Good Luck 🙂😁😀
Oh my HEART! Brings back memories of training my 7 week old Tenterfield Terrier x Chihauhau, never under estimate the smarts and keeness of itty bitty bubba animals! 😍😁😎
Awwww!!! I'm glad you chose that name. I think that was the #1 suggestion from all of us. She's so adorable! Do you think Chili Pepper recognizes her as one of his species? Since his herd has been a porcupine and small cavies, I wondered if he'd noticed the difference.
"I like this rabbit".
-Thor
Cute name! She's already near the top of my list w/ Kemosabe and Serafina
She's just a little doll!!! What a precious little baby cavy, so sweet, I have 6 guinea pigs, I love them so much, listen to their adorable vocabulary, lol!!
So very adorable , cute , intristing , great, wonderful, imperesive and insperiring.
I really enjoyed seeing your first training session! I love the way you explain positive reinforcement and how you incorporate the clicker. I'd definitely be happy to see more training sessions, either with the cavies or other animals :)
Awww! She doesn't seem shy which is great so she can live with her big brother and guinea pig cousins.
Glad to hear Chili Pepper finally has a buddy as big as he is. I know that the Guinea pigs are a similar species, and that they get along well together. But as someone who has had to live with three dogs, a chihuahua mix, a boxer mix, and a rottweiler mix, the smaller of the group tends to get stepped on during regular play. Not to mention the similar sized members of the group tend to be able to play with each other more often. Great Video Jessie!
She couldn't be more perfect!
awwwwww she's so cute, i love her
She makes the cutest noises!
I'm still not over how precious she is😭
Me neither! 😍🤗
i suspect that the clicker is still over her head but she seems super food motivated so that should make training easier... at least until she decides she's full.
Very funny 😅
I never heard of the animal a cavy before. They're so cute! How come I never heard of them?
They look like invisible, magical Patagonian sprites ride them! But seriously these animals are absolutely amazing. THANK YOU for sharing them with us!
Your videos are pure joy for animal lovers
omg she purrs!
Next training session: DO A BARREL ROLL
Haha, why? Because she looks like a barrel on stilts? 😂
AnimalWonders Montana two reasons: 1) because it’s cute; and 2) it’s a very old meme
@@animalwondersmontana bonus awwwwwwe points when out at presentations! 😂😉
OH MY GOD THEY WEEK! SO CUTE!
They look like some kind of mythological creature. Very cool. Never seen this species before! Thanks
Cayenne! I love it!
Honestly I clicked on the video cuz I thought it was a special new kind of rabbit. Never seen or heard of this animal before
Patagonian cavies are wonderful little animals. Not a mean bone in their body
I love it when animals show us they can do things we don't think they can. Humans one of the only species who can do social learning? Think again! Horses (and apparently cavis, too) exhibit social learning, and most people don't think either of those guys are "smart." ^-^
omg super adorable wuvvie
I love her name. Can't wait to see more of her adjusting to life in a herd. Thanks for sharing!
Fantastic work as always! And congrats on the name.
Who are the three people with no hearts who disliked this?! She is the sweetest thing I have ever seen. 😍
So it’s not just cats that love boxes!
honestly these videos jus tmake me want a patagonian cavy as a pet, tho I know it's not what's best for it.
They're so goddang adorable
awwww how cuuuteee
Those mini Kangaroo-bunnies are so cute
You are SO good at clicker training - I love it! You make it look so easy, but takes some serious awareness and choreography. Brilliant!
Welcome, baby Cayenne!!! Wishing her (and every animal and human at Animal Wonders!) a long, happy and healthy life!!!
Peak adorableness.
Love her sounds!
I don't understand how someone could dislike this...
Yes, new video!
Omg. So cute!
Amazing Video 😍
Love, love, love the name! Cayenne is such a sweet little critter!
I love your videos I love animals
So who out of all your animals have been the easiest or hardest to train and why? Is it really true that older animals are harder to train, or is that a myth?
its is harder to train to teach old animals like the young its also hard
I've found that older animals can be harder to motivate, while younger ones loose focus quickly. Young adult animals are my favorite to work with. Though it's still really important to train and especially socialize young animals because the things they learn at that age will become second nature down the road
With rabbits I've found the opposite to be true. They become much easier to train as they get older imo. Past the first year I would say is what is especially noticeable. Though it may also be in part due to your bond becoming stronger with time and they learn to trust you more. That's not to say that you can't teach them things young, especially as rabbits are highly intelligent to begin with. Most learn new things easily regardless of age, though sometimes certain individuals require extra motivation (nothing a small chunk of banana can't solve!) And yes, they can be clicker trained :) They also respond very well to body language, even more so than verbal cues and as we've discovered can learn hand signals (one of our three lops is deaf, sadly fairly common in lops, and he rapidly picks up hand/body cues)
Certainly my first girl even when she got to 11 was a fast learner of new things. So don't count out older animals!
I think it was tinker the doggy thingy idk what it was it was a black doggy thingy! 😅😅😖
The first time I saw one of these little guys, at a park here in the UK, I thought, "who crossed a bunny with a deer?"
So cute and pretty!
what an amazing animal!!
I love that Cavy "purring" :) Bet they would make excellent snuggle-pets, except they probably dig and chew a lot.
It's sort of like a slimmer and more athletic capybara, or a capybara-bunny mix =P
Very adorable.
so sweet 😊
As an Australian, Cavies look so much like a hare and a grey kangaroo had a baby!
I love to watch your channel. the babies are so cute and very interesting
Adorable
I've never seen a cavy before, such a sweet animal >.
They look a little like capybaras. Adorable!
Awwwwwwwww!!!!!! My heart!!!!!
Awwwwww my favorite CAYENNE 🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶
Oh my goodness she's a little singer, isn't she? So many vocalizations. ❤
She is so cute I just watched this video and screamed the entire time
Reminds me of how my rabbit responds during training. These days, he comes flying across the apartment whenever I click!
so cute
Very fascinating to see. I had coworkers who would do this in the office🙄. Used it as a distraction! I really love your post!
Oh gosh, the rumble noises she makes 😍
That was a great video Jessi...Cayenne is a great name too::))
YESSSS
Oh my godddd look at the little dumb baby 😍 I just love her!
I know it's a bad idea but I want a herd of these guys in my life!
Maybe there's a zoo or other animal facility near you who would love a volunteer!? The are super fun to work with, but definitely not the best idea for a pet (they can jump 6 feet high and run 40mph if spooked).
Just Found your channel last week and I have fallen in love with all your animal's after watching 200+ of your video's keep up your great work you and your team are amazing.
Sorry I cant support you financialy I really wish I could.
Thank you so much! Those older episodes are a trip to watch, lol, I hope the binge watching treated you well!
She's so cute!
This is awesome! Thanks for sharing! By the way, how is training Mimi coming?
I like training because you’re not necessarily like, exploiting the animal, you’re developing a way of communicating in more complex ways. My dog trains me too to some extent 😂
Beautiful. 😍
i love her she looks like someone heard 'guinea pigs are rodents' and tried to imagine what a rodent pig would be
With so many animals around, how do you make sure that the other animals don't think the click is for them? I have a cat and a chinchilla and I would love to clicker train them both but I'm not sure how to be clear if they both respond to the same sound.
In my experience the animals are pretty good at discerning between a training session with them and someone else. Hearing the clicker is exciting but only when paired with their human trainer and the distinct smell of treats.
She is a darling!
yeah!!!!!!
Lovr her xx
The baby Cavy looks so cute!!!!!Also Chilli Pepper looks great!!!!! But I have a question, what is the difference between a cavy and a capybara?
Intro reminds me of reading rainbow...its great!
Hi Cayenne! You're doing so good!
Oh my GOD, she’s so LITTLE!she makes chili pepper look big. I would die for cayenne.
WHO WAS HIDING THIS BEING FROM ME, SHE'S SUCH A GOOD GIRL
She's a very vocal baby 😂
they love your thumb lol
Cute! :) Are you intentionally luring here or did it just evolve that way?
Do they taste good? Best way to cook? How do I buy them?
Perfect name 🙂
So... it's a rabbybara? Or is it bunnybara?
When a German shepherd and a guinea pig have babies, this is what it looks like
Cayenne will soon be Chili Pepper's friend. At 1:18, Chili Pepper is making some happy whistles. I have been making chew toys for Cayenne and Chili Pepper and the guinea pigs Olive and Cheddar.
Their very cute
