I literally said "good girl" to my computer when Sprite jumped on your hand! I have never been so proud of an animal I have never actually met before. I am so glad that they are being so well taken care of! I love birds, but I know I don't have the current resources or knowledge to have them, so I am content watching others take great care of such beautiful birds.
I did the same thing! Haha I love seeing the work Jesse and Animal Wonders does with all of their residents. I’m glad I’m not the only one to say it out loud though. 😁😆
My wife and I Love your videos!! Use to live in Kalispell Montana:- ). I've been a wildlife artist for over 40 years and always looked for places like yours to study common and unique animals. Keep up the great work!! Bye from South Carolina!
I love Animal Wonders Don’t know what I would do without them Ever since I was four I loved animals, animal wonders really made me connect with animals more. I get so excited when they post a new video and sometimes start screaming! I am very grateful to have animal wonders in my life Love, 11 year old girl
If I saw a turaco in a parrot cage with no context, I'd be yelling up a storm! But I'm glad you took the time to tell us your reasons and stated that if she does want more space you do have a back up plan.
Jess, I'm constantly amazed by your patience and tact with each animal. I have a parakeet and I love her, but she basically does what she wants, because I don't have the savvy to train her at all.
Thank you so much for sharing these two beauties. Sunny in particular is absolutely gorgeous - the sheen of her feathers is absolutely captivating. I first learned about turacos from your channel and was really fascinated to learn they're the only birds that actually have true green pigment in their feathers. I really enjoy seeing them whenever they're featured and I really hope to someday be able to have the opportunity to observe them in the wild. :)
Sunny seems like an ideal “captive” bird, including how she seems relatively QUIET! If these two are like night and day, I wonder how different all the various turaco species are in captivity, and furthermore on an individual level. There are some very pretty turacos in Africa. Sunny has the curiosity, personality, and sociability you would want in any parrot, dove or toucan, minus the deafening calls, killer bills or projectile guano of toucans! As far as i know… lol
Always verry nice to see the back stage side of Animal wonders! You are without doubts caring in an exemplary way for all these animals and that is verry impressive and respectable!
I have never herd of these birds thanks to you I know a lot about them thanks a lot there so cute thanks for the videos I really enjoy them btw that’s the ravens home right
Man, the way you so wonderfully described how taking the food is totally different to Sprite if things are in different positions etc. describes perfectly the way I struggle with the same stuff as an autistic person. It's hard for people to understand why sometimes little things like too much paper around me, or my desk in a different place can make my work so much harder, I guess I need to hang out with more animal trainers! xD
Jess, you make me feel hopeful for the world. With the constant greed and selfishness we see on the news and even a lot of the people we see everywhere, this is where I came to thaw my heart.
I love your videos so much, and so appreciate all the work you do. I wish I could afford to support you beyond just being subscribed and giving likes and views. I'm sorry I'm poor. :c
you should just get 1 completeakeet instead of 2 parts... har har har! but yea, for 2 parakeets/budgies, that's probably ok. 2 slightly smaller cages would be better, and they'll need lots of time OUT of the cage as well, but it should be ok. make sure they have doubles of everything (food/water bowls, so on..) to avoid them getting territorial over anything.
That size is not large enough if you are not allowing them to fly outside of the cage. A cage for parakeets should be horizontal and long enough that they can fly (not jump) from perch A to perch B. Look for cages on Amazon they have cheap and good ones, a recommended model would be (example) Kerbl Bird Cage Rose 80X45X75 CM it allows them to fly from point A to point B. Please make sure to look at the metals used in the cage it is not rarely that parakeets are affected by metal toxicity, google this for more infos. Also I cannot stress enough how important a diet is, do not feed foods with sunflower seeds and you are best served with pellets (Harissons being the top line) always complement with vegetables. I stress this because a large % of birds will die from a bad diet especially with liver and renal failure. Source: We own a bird shelter.
This is a joy to see how much the animals trust you and adapt. I'm still curious to know to confirm that an Amazon order actually arrived at your place. Other channels I watch have had problems with deliveries confirmed by Amazon but not actually delivered by the channel owners.
That bunny’s name is Cheeks he is a Netherland Dwarf rabbit. Cheeks is an older rabbit and he prefers a smaller space. When Cheeks was younger he lived in a larger enclosure with other animals, but as he got older he stopped appreciating the company of other animals. When he got put in the small cage he made it very clear that he liked it a lot. So Cheeks is a very happy bunny and he is lucky to be living at animal wonders. :) There are also a lot of videos about him you could watch. 🐰
Sunny is chill. "I want food and people to see. I like this branch, why would I leave?"

That was awesome! So glad you captured Sprite's breakthrough. Thanks for all you do, Jessi!
Such happy girls they are! Once more you show that it's not easy to take care of the diverse species you handle, but that it's always worth it
So glad these two are doing well! They seem so happy and healthy.

There's one at my local parrot store in a big enclosure, which is how I ended up here... super interesting bird.

This was the ravens' home, but they've now moved into one of the outdoor yards on the back of the Beaver House (next to where Sunny was).

So fascinating to get details of their training. Updates and training sessions are fascinating.
These videos always manage to brighten up my day!

I missed this channel!
Thank you for your wonderful energy and enthusiasm, I'm so glad it's still going strong :)
Such cute birds! And the colour of the top suited you so well, Jessi!
So happy to see they are adjusting well. What sort of food do Turacos eat?
Oh! Today's AWM Instagram post shows what Sprite ate today! Instagram: animalwondersmontana or just click the link in the description below.
Great job!
They are so cute🥰
I am totally curious. Do you use solar power to cut down what has to be a massive power bill?
We haven't invested in solar panels yet, but maybe in the future. Heat bills are expensive, it's just part of it.
They are both so pretty!
they are so cute
Oh my god so cute

I'm curious as to why they needed to be rehomed so quickly
Their previous owner was severely allergic to their dander and it quickly become a life threatening situation.
I have a doubt, if sunny has gone to huckleberry's outdoor space, where does huckleberry go?
They share the yard 😊
@@animalwondersmontana didn't huckleberry care about it? and isn't kizmit worried about sprite in his yard? how did they both react?
