Very cool Roy! I like those old Hudson’s, too bad you don’t have the original 308 ci Flathead 6 but yeah the AMC 6 is still in the family and I’m with you I’d rather had a Chevy 6 in it for reliability! Oh well it’s still cool!
@@RoyMarkosGarageRMG - oh that’s right, yeah I forgot about you giving that 308 to Scott. Yeah I watched that episode of theirs when he got it. Oh well, that 199 - 6 will have to do, I suppose, right? They are bad for not getting any oil up to the head though, I tell you what you could do Roy, if you want, where you have that oil gauge on the side of the block, put you a fitting in there and run a copper line up to the head, you may have to drill a small hole in the valve cover so that copper line will fit through but at least you’ll have oil going up to the head. Just a idea buddy.
@@hensleyshobbies-doug7761 A very good idea, I'll trying that one out. With a $700 total budget for this event I'm limited to what can be fixed. If you look up "great Beater Challenge" you'll get the full explanation.
Hudson Hornets always remind me of "Doc" in the Lightning McQueen CARS movies. Isn't that the kind of vehicle he was? But I don't recall what year "Doc" was supposed to be. Ruthie B. Howard July 27, 2021
Doc was a 1951 Hudson Hornet, different colour, and I believe with only two doors instead of the four. In fact (according to my kids) his license plate is 51HHMD
Yes, it is hard to hear him. I agree. Fun to see all the activity that is going on, but a Rhodes cordless mic would be beneficial. Ruthie B. Howard 7/27/21
@@RoyMarkosGarageRMG Yes, a better mic would probably help. Steven uses a Rhodes wireless mic -- and he loves it! Do you know about Rhodes mics? Ruthie B. Howard July 27, 2021
Looking Good Roy
Thanks.
@@RoyMarkosGarageRMG My pleasure.
That is some great fab work Roy ! Runs nice !
Thanks... except for the little challenge now. But it'll get fixed.
Awesome car sir!!!
That she is
This is going to be awesome
Yes it will be
Yes! I do believe that he will "pull it off." It will be "EPIC." We will have to keep our eye on this one! Ruthie B. Howard July 27, 2021

This is going to be a cool build and project . Good luck with the Beater Challenge, Cheers Roy
Thanks Lloyd, thankfully those care a simple, and the beater challenge will be fun.
Now that's old school! I don't think I've ever seen one in person.
Yeah you don't see them very often.
Well done, so far one of the all around great videos of yours.
Thank you
Love that cool T-Shirt! Ruthie B. Howard July 27, 2021

I'd rather have a chevy too, but I did have the 308 (in pieces) and I gave it to Scott at Coldwarmotors for his Hudson

Interesting build. Should be fun. I like those inline 6s.
Thanks, I like them too.
Awesome video as always Broski!

This is probably one of my favourite videos of yours so far. I love doing engine swaps. Can’t wait to see this car rolling down the road my friend.
Me too.
Looks like a lot of work going on to me. Going to be a challenge but I'm sure you can pull it off, Roy.
I'm looking forward to the challenge, and so far a lot of elbow grease.
I don’t remember getting a notification for this video, getting caught up now
Mine seem to do that too, so at least you're here and hopefully enjoying the video.
Sick your doing the GBC! I was considering that myself but going to be too busy with race season getting underway! Good luck Roy!🚙🚙🚙
Thank you, I'll need it.

Weather has been hot, had a heat wave. Glad you like the Hudson.
Wow she’s cherry 🍒!
Yes, pretty solid car.
Hi, I just started watching the video but I am not catching anything you are saying at all.
I'll be fixing that up, a new mic should help.
