Brother, I have a manual Mazda Tribute. When I put it in gear and accelerate, it jerks and if I stop and put it in neutral, it shakes, the revolutions go up and down. Could you give me some guidance, thank you.

That was my exact one. It began to teach me the vagaries of Brit car mechanicals and Lucas electrics. It was followed by a Austin 1100 2door sedan, a MG1100 $ door and a MGB/GT. Loved them all, especially the B/GGT

You will be the only one on your block with one...

Always use a straight edge as a guide when cutting a frame. Also your gaps are way too wide. You will have to pour a ton of filler wire in to fill them. If it were me I would also use an inner section of frame rail at the weld joint. Can never bring myself to cut a frame. I just move the rear axle up and redrill the holes then cut it to the length I need. Everyone does it different so I am not downing what you did or how. Little body work and some paint you will have a nice ride.

Have a 1957 150 converting drums to disc. The lower control arms both have a pair of bolts smaller than the the other two? Do you know if this is what is on yours? all 8 are marked 6 times on the heads 4 measures 1" 6/8 and the other 4 measures 2" and 1/8? They appear original or should I replace?

I know this comment is 4yrs. late, but wouldn't it have been easier and stronger to drill new holes for the spring to frame mounts, cut the rivets out and then move the whole spring/axle assembly forward? Anyway, lovely job and truck. I don't seen any updates on it in a couple years. Any chance there's more videos for it coming?

Can i suggest that next time you do this, use a framing speed square for marking your lines? Also, measure four times once you think you're ready to cut, then right before you cut, measure again. I would also suggest plating over the welds, either inside or outside the frame and boxing the frame as well. Especially important on a heavy frame like that.

I have a 57 Monarch and it is not easy when I install the guage cluste with all the indivual lights and wires I have to hook up Yours looks so much easier.

I remember i had the habit of set ing the flost level on my 289 mustang with the top off and set the points and timing t and air screw adjustmen tlike all at once ! That was what a Tune Up was a real thing ! There is no tune ups on new cars nothing to tune!

They do sell the boot kit at autozone, so no you don't have to buy the coil pack just to get the boot. The kit is around 25-30$
