Lou and I enjoyed meeting you Roy on the beater challenge it was a blast really enjoyed the stop in Edson to show the Hudson to the old owner and see his Stude looking forward to next years beater challenge
Just found you. I have a love for Hudson’s I’m a few months away from starting a Hudson project on my channel. Looking forward to catching up on your channel
The old Hudson seems like it does pretty good with the AMC engine in it Roy, once you worked all the bugs out of it, right? Anywho, I love the old 50's Hudson's, they were, and still are I suppose, a great ride! You take care Roy and stay safe buddy! 🤘🤘✌️, Wished I was up there in Canada somewhere close to you, I would've loved to went with you on that, looks and sounds pretty cool buddy 👍👍
Your a brave man! I paid to do the challenge this year, but opted out when Peter told me it was going to have 350kms of gravel. Still have flashbacks to the last challenge with gravel.
Those peep mirrors kinda suck. They look cool, but not that great functionally! I like the swans you put on, they good good. That lifted Caddy is crazy. I love that he's pulling his motel! hahaha! Ooooh a Maverick! That Nova is a sleeper-beater....! Man there's just a little of everything attending this event! The ol' Hudson is holding its own quite well!
Good thing you waxed that thing before you went, it really help shed off the mud at the car wash. 😎Cool video. That was a very interesting flavor combo you had going there with the cigarette and the apple at the same time, mmmmm.🤢🤮 🤣😂😅😆 Sorry but that looked very comically disgusting, you were taking multi-tasking to a whole nother level! Not for the faint hearted for sure.(no offense but I thought it was funny) I'm even an ex-smoker myself and wasn't into eating and smoking at the same time. And now that I don't smoke anymore it seems even more unappetizing, but then again maybe the Canadian smokes are more tasty? LOL
@@RoyMarkosGarageRMG That was VERY funny to watch. What does "Sandy" mean, I'm not Canadian, is that just short for sandwich or a sammich(beer)? That Caddy was WAY cool! We already know the Hudson is cool just so you know.
@@itseithergonnaworkoritaint7852 Sandy was my co-pilot from last year, he sadly passed away in March while we were in the middle of planning. I had to do something for him on the channel. (apple and smokes was a thing for him)
@@RoyMarkosGarageRMG Oh no, I'm so sorry to hear that, he sounds like he was an interesting character. I didn't know about him, I have watched every episode since I subscribed but unfortunately there isn't enough time in the day to watch the pre-subscriber videos. I'm sorry for your loss, may he rest in peace.
Looked like some good times Roy 👍 Great that the Hudson never missed a beat !
the lady has done me well. and she’s still going!

It's pretty cool at night.
No seat belt, smoking and eating while going down the road. Gotta love the good ole days xD
Yes indeed =)
Great adventure! I'm sure you did have a navigator with you on the trip. Silent heavenly partner. Cheers bud. Thanks for the video.

That bungy cord holding the hood.. that's gotta be a factory option xD
A good factory option LOL

Iam digging that flat fender jeep truck. Looks like a killer time?
Yes. it was a great time. That truck is really cool
Not only is she a 51’ like my Chevy you are also from Alberta too! I find it rare to find RUclipsrs, especially car RUclipsrs from my home province
What year is your Hudson?
1951 Hudson Hornet.
@@RoyMarkosGarageRMG thank you it's a cool car for sure!
Next year driving to bc?
that is the plan.
