Collection of Shiho-Nage / 四方投, Four Direction Throw, performed Morihei Ueshiba, founder of Aikido and his apprentices including Kenji Tomiki, Morihiro Saito and Gozo Shioda. The footage shows the evolution of Shiho-Nage, that is a physical manifestation of the sword movement of cutting in four directions.
Aikido is one of the martial arts developed in Japan and was founded by Morihei Ueshiba. it is said that it has roots of Daito Ryu and other Jujitsu practiced by Samurai as self defense techniques.
