@@Robin-mj6jv it's in the description box. Bob was diagnosed with Ataxia some time ago. Whatever hampers him physically, does not affect his thinking and reasoning.
Thank you Bob and Brad for your great videos! Found you guys two summers ago when I was experiencing severe vertigo on a vacation. Your video of the Epley maneuver saved my vacation by relieving my vertigo symptoms almost immediately, . Also, your video on Chostchondritis has relieved my chest pain symptoms just last week! Thank you gentleman. Praying for Bob's recovery from his Ataxia.
I also love to use a heating pad to dilate my blood vessels, and then while I have my legs and feet propped up, I rest them against a percussion massager which pushes the blood and fluids back to my heart. It feels great, and though varicose veins run in my family, I don't have any at 61.
@@jeantarry6726 Hi Jean! I use the TheraRub Massager (double head) I bought on Amazon, and I absolutely love it. The heads strongly vibrate, and it really gets the circulation moving in my legs and feet. I see they sell a lot of massaging guns now with just a single head, but I've never used one of those.
I learned a great trick for putting on compression socks! So helpful! 1. Reach inside and grab the heel. 2. Holding the heel, use the other hand to pull the top of the sock down, so it is inside out up to the heel. 3. Now put the sock on from toe up to heel. 4. Finally, pull the rest of the sock up the rest of the way. It is amazing how well this works! You guys should do a video to demonstrate it!
@nancydanaland That’s perfect! I learned it because of my sock assist that I got after knee replacement surgery. That’s how it works best. Now I don’t need the sock assist, but that hack definitely still works!!

"most women"...i'm a woman, and don't have a farking clue WHAT you're talking about. WHY would you consciously damage your own foot with a shoe you KNOW is wrong for it??
I definitely need these tips because I have poor circulation which causes me to have low blood pressure in the morning. Thank you for helping so many of us!
I love and need almost daily suggestions/reminders on ways I can help myself with all my ailments. I mean no disrespect but today Bob seemed very sleepy, was everything okay with him? Has he had health issues lately?
Did it improve in the meantime? It seems alcohol, coffee, and nicotine cause bad circulation. I have stopped all these decades ago. But my feet still feel numb.
So good to see Bob again! I always enjoy your short videos and started watching your channel years ago when I suffered sciatica. My daughter, an ER nurse has finally been diagnosed with a form of ataxia after suffering with severe symptoms for 9 months. So sad!
Elevating the legs and feet is perfect. The box toe shoes are a great help. The toes are not crowded. But then, where you go terribly wrong, is suggesting compression socks. They smash your toes and the pressure on your swollen legs is even more painful then no socks. They are horrible. Honestly . A better solution is lymphatic message of your lower body. Hey Bob & Brad, Cut the toe out of the sock, place a plastic bag (like the bag the socks came in) over your foot. Pull the sock on over the plastic bag (very easy), pull the plastic bag off your foot through the hole in the end of the sock, sock is on, easy peasy! Special thanks to the nurse that taught me that many years ago.
Ive had calf circulation problems for years and found one technique when I get pain in calves from poor circulation is to lay on the floor with butt against the wall or door and raise the legs vertical against the wall/door. In five ten minutes blood and toxin flow down out of the calves.
Footwear: you *must* try them on prior to purchase, no matter what they look like. Years ago, I tried Earth Shoes, which looked great (wide box), but I found them very uncomfortable (too stiff, both soles and uppers, and perhaps loose in the heels).
It is wonderful to see God answering prayer. All of us want to see you keep showing up, even if you just lay down on the table and smile at us. We need to see the BOTH, of you.

I bought an adjusting bed for my gerd/hernia and love the zero g position. After rougher nights at work I'll prop my feet higher. The sock discussion was helpful. I've always bought calf length socks but normal socks would leave sometimes painful compression marks (tourniquet? )where they stopped. Now i wear ankle highs or no compression diabetic socks. Next time I see my doctor, we'll talk about my circulation situation and compression socks but the knee high seem like the way to go.
I just got a pair of the toeless compression socks my cardiologist prescribed. No swelling but reduced blood flow. The open toe rolls back and I feel like I’m walking on a pencil under my arches. I have neuropathy in my feet and the socks made it worse. Beet red toes and upper foot, and bulging veins near my toes after several hours of wearing the stockings and burning pain in my feet for days. Ugh. $75 for a pair of horrible socks. 😢
I wear a wide Saucony gym shoe with my orthotics. Btw, I got your mini massage gun for my hubby for Christmas. Between that and some good copper compression socks, the edema on his legs and feet has disappeared since Christmas. The change is dramatic.
Bob sounds sooo much better that is so wonderful. This is such a good video as I am having a full knee replacement soon and this video is so helpful. Thank you both again❤
For better flow of blood in your leg, nothing can better than doing the daily walking, running, jumping and all excercise which you can do. Second, you take less oily food, more vegetables but daily exercise is necessary.
I noticed something off about Bob and now i see the comments about him coming back...not sure what happened but i will keep him in my prayers, seems like such a nice man❤
Great video, love seeing Bob! About footwear... my podiatrist is the one who told me that New Balance shoes have wider toe boxes, and gave me the address of their local company store. That turned out to be 100% correct. I'm talking about their regular sizes, not any that are specifically wide sizes, so just try your regular shoe size and you will see that their toe boxes are all wider than other brands.
Thanks for putting it together for me what I was experiencing with snug/tight ankle or no see socks. Over time I would experience a kind of ache throughout legs. Torniqet is what is occuring.
After discovering Crocs and wearing them almost exclusively for over a year my feet grew ½ size! I was already wearing a 12 (women’s) so it pushed me into a 13! Now I wear them as one selection but focus on wide-toes tennis shoes.
I’ve loved my Birkenstock clogs for years. 25+ years ago my feet and knee hurt. Put them on and haven’t really ever wanted to take them off. My knee felt better almost instantly and feet were right there too. Gotta let your toes have some wiggle room!
Only an ultrasound will pick up medical conditions. Compression stockings - 30-40 mmg, wearing men's runners and Crocs (wide shoebox space) and elevating my legs have greatly assisted my Odema and chronic vein insufficiency.
I was told raised legs = less blood flow ie raise your Hand if you Cut your Finger.? Helping Blood flow to my Shoulder was really to get Oxygen to help heal injury but Breathing also helps with Feet as I found out when I got Ulcers because of Diabetes...
I recently lost 10 pounds of fluid by taking dandelion leaf capsules. Most of the swelling in my legs is gone. Dandelion works much better than a hydrochlorothiazide prescription. That's 5 quarts of water gone. It is so hard to get rid of excess fluid, but dandelion really works.
I like to use inexpensive Croc knockoffs with a fairly firm (also inexpensive) insole added. This gives just the right combination of cushioning, support and wiggle room.

Skeechers Go Max or Equalizer shoes. amazon $33 ish.. You MUST walk properly in these shoes or you will stub toe. Properly lift each foot with each step. Cheers
I saw you suggesting that you use an ottoman to lift your legs to the same level as your hips but I have an L shaped couch that allows me to watch TV with my legs up in front like that and it somehow causes pins & needles. The cushion is firm but yielding, nothing pinching anywhere but something about the position affects my circulation.
I find that Mephisto shoes for men work well. They are more expensive, but they can be restored by manufacturer when they wear down. They have a wide range of choices. I find the socks are difficult to put on even with some of the tools made to help. I sometimes find the socks actually increase swelling. I’m at the point of getting evaluated.
This video doesn't teach how to FIX the problem of poor circulation, it only addresses how to deal with or accommodate poor circulation. What I want to know is how to improve circulation, and restore it to the way it was when you were young so that you no longer have to do these things such as elevating the feet or wearing compression socks.
I wear diabetic shoes but don’t have enough nor do diabetic boots last compared to regular boots. To get enough toe space I found that buying a boot one-half shoe size larger fit well and gave my toes much more ample room and were not stubbed at the end of the shoe or squeezed. But your video puzzled me as to the compression socks which squeeze the toes like a tight pointed shoe conflicts with freedom of the toes. Thanks for your videos always good.
The thing is when it's a pointy shoe, you've got to get a bigger size. Just admit it. You're not a size 5. The pointy part is supposed to be empty. Your toes should end before that point. Also, bear in mind it shouldn't be so large you're shifting around. You've got to find the sweet spot.
Thank you Bob and Brad, you both are so wise and knowledgeable, expert experts in your field...your videos are so helpful and I love your humor! So good to see you Bob back, showing improved speech with every episode. Thank you for inspiring us all! God bless you both.
I have been dealing with a semi numbness in the bottom of my feet I'm not a diabetic many tests on answer and about three weeks ago I saw a feet specialist and he prescribed some vitamins that supposed to help with better blood flow but no exercises or something else also have calf twitching 24/7 and went I used the compression shocks my twitching go a lot faster
I bought a pair of "Men's Anchorage III Waterproof Boots" from Keen a few years ago. They weren't cheap, but they are still holding up and they have plenty of space for my toes.
I use supplement Diosmin Hespidin to solve the pooling of blood in feet. It addresses vein problems. Initially I did combine it with elevating feet for short time but eventually I didn't have to anymore.
I buy knockoff copper 'miracle socks' off of eBay. really good light/medium compression. Bought one of your fit slide machines, too. Loved it, but the plastic tabs holding one of the pedals broke off and there is no way I know of to fix it.
Do these things help with neuropathy? I just had it show up out of the blue and it’s really bad. Possibly because of the antibiotic I’ve been on for 4 months or my diabetes.

Thanks for another great video. One thing I'm not sure I understand - why is a compression sock good but tight shoes bad ?
God bless you, Bob!! When I wear compression socks, my leg swells up like a balloon after a few hours. Any idea how to remedy that..?
This video doesn't teach how to FIX the problem of poor circulation, it only addresses how to deal with or accommodate poor circulation. What I want to know is how to improve circulation, and restore it to the way it was when you were young so that you no longer have to do these things such as elevating the feet or wearing compression socks.
Exercise, diet
A walking program helped me.
Eliminate sugar drink water and eat only meat
I love these guy’s I learn a lot from them. Good advice
Thanks for sharing!
Thank you Bob and Brad, you both are so wise and knowledgeable, expert experts in your field...your videos are so helpful and I love your humor! So good to see you Bob back, showing improved speech with every episode. Thank you for inspiring us all! God bless you both.
Brad, you sound like a good caring son. You and your mom will be in my prayers. Bob, you remain in my prayers. ❤
Love you boys passion for helping others who need your expertise and skill. Thanks so much.
@norma1979. Ur saying absolutely right. Ur words are so adorable.
I need to maximize blood flow to my fingers.
The only issue I have with crocs is I catch my feet and fall with them more than with other types shoes. I shifted to wide width and seems to do well.
P.S. my comment is not paid ,it's just to spread the sometimes hard to find information,a good friend told me about them and I am glad he did.
Orthofeet has a good selection of shoes - all with wide and deeper toe boxes. They are very well made, also.
"WE HAVE SPOKEN "!! Luv you guys.... I'm fighting the circulation fight....❤
So pleased to see how well Bob is looking ❤
If you are having symptoms of claudication (pain with walking). DO NOT wrap and compress your legs until your are seen by a vascular physician.

I buy knockoff copper 'miracle socks' off of eBay. really good light/medium compression. Bought one of your fit slide machines, too. Loved it, but the plastic tabs holding one of the pedals broke off and there is no way I know of to fix it.
I adore you guys, glad to see Bob. God's Blessings to you both 🙏
Great advice! Thank You, guys🙏🏽
For this excellent public service

Do these things help with neuropathy? I just had it show up out of the blue and it’s really bad. Possibly because of the antibiotic I’ve been on for 4 months or my diabetes.
