I loved the show to bad it got cancelled. I liked how it basically showed how humans became an Interstellar.
i know right
Heck yeah, they start out with almost nothing and expand into an intergalactic powerhouse. Was cool seeing all the early tech they had acquired get snowballed into pretty much Star Trek levels of advancement.
@@explorinjenkins349 it still is one of my most favorite series of all times. Some part 9f me wishes to see it reimagined and remade. But I gear it'll be ruined beyond repair. People seem to not really care for such outreaching sci fi movies and shows now days and it's really sad :(
It wasent cancelled it ran for ten seasons and got 2 movies in no way was it cancelled it ran it's course
I was Obsessed with Stargate!
Me too Megan! we got double episodes every Thursday night on cable tv when I was a kid and was the only thing I looked forward to :)
FilmComicsExplained
Me miss Teal'C and Col ONeill ):
Indeed
Same bro
I AM!
Lets go on a date and find the furlings :D
Oh man stargate! My favorite sci-fi show of all time. You should do the asgard or the ancients next
It's like star trek without the starships😂👍
There are episodes with ships
Earthlings had more to offer than the gao'uld, there's freedom, free of thought, self determination, love , life , understanding, moonshine, deep dish pizza, hamburgers, dogs and internet lol
Ra was the first goauld to encounter humans on EARTH and he used them as hosts and slaves and that's how humans spread through the galaxy. Before that the goauld had other host species.
I am guessing RA is the god that the bible is talking about. The bible says he is a jealous God.
Minor correction: Celestis was never known to the Goa'uld. It is actually the home planet of the Ancients and Ori in the Ori controlled galaxy accessable only by supergate.
Also, you showed a clip from the movie Stargate Continuum showing the Goa'uld apparently serving Ba'al and Teal'c serving as his first Prime!
I love these guys, big ancient Egypt nerd
Not all of them are Egyptian-like tho. :D I loved Svarog, altough he only made a small appeareance.
Stargate was so extensive, you only scratched the surface which is good. The Wraiths, replicators, Ori, Asgard and others expand this universe so much in SGI. The SGI cast was awesome as well, you just fell in love with them all.
The Nox too I don't know why I liked that race so much It would have been cool to see them being more developped
you really should do the wraith
Bunny Clause indeed
Let me. Bug bites humans over thousands of years in which the humans evolve with some of the bugs abilities.
Done
Me and my 3rd year classmates watched this one in the theater and love it,far better than watching in the living room.
I loved the film and the TV shows!!
More stargate please!
That the post-credits scene of X-Men: Days of Future Past really reminds me of this epic movie.
I want to watch Stargate now
Gamer Puffin do it dude, u won’t regret it.
you got et
DO it!
FilmComicsExplained what did u think of the web series?
heck yeah we got another one! you really won't regret it bud it's one of the longest running series in the last 50 years give or take a decade but ultimately one of the best in my opinion the science behind the entire series is strictly theoretical but also has a solid basis on facts in our own scientific world! you rarely find tv shows that put that kind of effort into their series to make sure the science has a basis and grounds of fact that is all in all, if you can get the entire series you'll be bing watching em cause of how they draw you in! anyways have fun with it bud, well worth the money and time!
Great classic, great vid! Are you also gonna do The Ancients, wraith, etc?
yep its on the list :)
One of my all time favorite alien race. Tnx for uploading
No worries bro!
If you're on a Stargate kick, Atlantis was a fun series; definitely quite a bit of material and topic possibilities, the Wraith, the expedition as a whole, and even a topic on just the city itself.
Well that blew my pants off. So much more detail than I knew about Stargate before. Would love to see more on the ancients. Thanks Niyat for another great video production. 👏💜
Oh man I love Stargate. I watched the movie and TV shows regularly as a teen. Thanks for the video.
Love the video!!! I would like to see the ancients. Thanks again mate!
One of my favorite childhood movies
Excellent overview I love that show!
Maybe you should cover the Wraith from Stargate: Atlantis next or possibly the Asgard.
Yep they are on the list :)
Wish they made a new series instead of that shitty web series one, I love these shows so much.
I heard that they're going to be possibly starting up the series again in the near future (1-3 years) here's hoping that they do!
DragonHunter hopefully, the web series was a huge disappointment for me, did u like it or nah?
personally I found it interesting but it couldn't really capture me like the series could the science behind it is sound but the characters are a little lack luster in depth ya know?
DragonHunter yep, I’m just glad that the show didn’t kill the entire series.
The Gaming Apprentice On that one we can definitely agree there personally I would have loved to see what happened to the SGU series if they'd have continued it
Stargate is the best, especially the series
love the vids. just found your channel and love. how about the wraith from stargate atlantis.
Sure! will add that to the list now mate :)
sweet cant wait for it
Theyre filled with inaccuracies and massive gaps and also terrible pronunciation
Do you think you'd ever talk about anything from the Warhammer 40,000 universe? I'm sure you already have tons of suggestions from other people but I think it could be interesting to hear you talk about. Love your videos
Yeah, I hope he’ll cover something in the Warhammer 40k universe. He could cover the Tyranids or maybe even the enslaver plague.
Yes of course! it on the list guys :)
Thanks for another quality watch...I appreciate that you, FCE, never wastes my time.
Thanks Tonni :)
Yes do more on Stargate. Especially about Aphous. Not sure if I spelled it right.
A video on Stargate Universe would be awesome.
Main villains:
Original Stargate film: a Goa'uld named Ra
Stargate SG-1: Goa'uld (snake-like parasites, pretending to be gods), Replicators (mechanical creatures, obsessed with consuming new tech), and Ori (godlike ascended beings, whose power is based on worship of their subjects).
Stargate Atlantis: Wraith, Asurans (Replicators' cousins in the Pegasus Galaxy), Michael (a human/Wraith hybrid rejected by both races)
Stargate Universe: Berserker drones (automated machines sent out by an unknown race to destroy other life forms), Nakai (catfish-like humanoids), Lucian Alliance (a criminal syndicate back in the Milky Way, engaged in a cold war with Earth).
Stargate: The Ark of Truth: Adria (human/Ori hybrid), Replicators
Stargate Continuum: a Goa'uld named Ba'al
Absolutely loved the Stargate series and movies.
More stargate plz
I. LOVE. STARGATE!
Thank you so much for covering this! In your didn't see it before, I would like to request that you cover the immortal Devil character Makuta from the Lego BIONICLE franchise. It seems like a juvenile request, I know, but I loved it as a kid, but I never fully understood Makuta.
If you could cover this, I'd be very appreciative.
Sure Jason, i'll add it to the list now :)
Explaine everything about stargate ima big fan of there show and your channel too...ty for putting stuff up like this and feeding my nerd addiction..
I just love watching your videos man, you are a real hidden gem on RUclips. I wish you all the best with your channel man, it's great content, you deserve it!
Amaterasu was smoking hot System Lord, anyway drokking Goa'ulds. Suffer not the alien to live!
Daimon X I must disagree, for Bastet and Kali are the hot ones.
I love the Anubis.
I stumbled across Stargate SG-1 and Atlantis reruns back in the high school days, and it took me another year or two before I found the movie. It's interesting watching the movie and seeing the difference between the Stargate franchise's beginnings and subsequent expansion.
I always look forward to your videos. Amazing content!
Do the wraith next! Love this channel!
We need a Stargate MOVIE! A sequel to the movie ignoring sg1 and so on would be amazing! So much backstory to flesh out in several movies . Stargate was so unique in comparison to other sci fi movies and it deserves another chance on the big screen. I'd take a stargate movie over the last 2 star wars movies any day!
*awakens from sarcophagus*
IM BETTER THEN EVERYBODY!!
Your vids are so good while watching at night good uploads man
Thanks mate :)
No problem mate :D
Great video as always , love Stargate so much
I asked for you to do the GOD OF EGYPT, I'm not disappointed. Because this works too, nice video bud.
I always wanted to see a gouald take over a wraith
Omg yes! Can you do the asgaurds or the ancients next plz!!!
Yes of course!! will add that to the list now mister O!
FilmComicsExplained Kree haha, great vid as always, i hope you do more on Stargate as you say there's a lot to cover with it thanks again
FilmComicsExplained, please do one on the replicators, Wraith and Ori.
KEEP COVERING THE STARGATE UNIVERSE PRETTY PLEASE! Like the small grey aliens from sg-1 or what i can only remember as the paradise looking ships that annihilated an army(i was young and it left me with a deep impression)
sure jasper! i'll do just that :)
gotta do the tok'ra now, awesome vid.
raymond rollins indeed
Mārtiņš Dmitrijevs lol, classic teal'c, or shall i say kratos..
I always forget that they turned that movie into a television series, which I have still yet to see.
I should look it up and see if it is any good and worth my nerdy time.
I think I was just too busy selling LSD and mushrooms when this show first came on. Probably why I never saw an episode. I was too busy trying to win a submarine ticket to Jupiter 87.9-u and see the fabled Intergalactic Jellyfish once again! A most magical and majestic sight to behold, truly it is. Made me piss my self, I'm pretty sure ov that, but it was because I was so happy and honored to have been given a glimpse ov such a beautiful creature.
Plus, ya know, the ten-strip I had taken earlier might have helped a little. I am about 75.4% sure ov that.
And someone had set me fire. But that actually happened lol, and not because ov the lsd
Ahh...good times. Good times.
Now I want to watch the Stargate movie 😎
*edit* for typos
2nd request completed!! Thank you ma!!
If you like Stargate and the original XCOM games, check out the XSGCOM fanfics that merge both universes. In this version, all the aliens from XCOM are creations of a rogue Asgard named Loki, who seeks to build an army against the Replicators and cure his people's genetic degradation by abducting and experimenting on humans of Earth, as well as testing his army against XCOM.
The fanfic author loves poking fun at obvious plot holes in the show and find alternate means of moving the story forward using XCOM-developed tech. For example, staff weapons are established in the show as weapons of intimidation rather than war (poor aim, slow rate of fire, far too bulky). So, XCOM mounts six staff weapons on a Gatling chassis, turning it into a terribly effective fire support tool. This later gets scaled up to starship-level weapons. The Free Jaffa are also given staff rifles - staff weapons cut down to a more manageable size with a proper trigger and iron sights.
Also, O'Neill finally gets his wish of naming a starship "Enterprise". Colonel Caldwell is NOT happy about his crew calling him Picard.
There's also a friendly rivalry between two hotshot XCOM pilots: an Interceptor (later F-302X) pilot named Cameron Mitchell and a Skyranger (later Avenger) pilot named John Sheppard. Only Sheppard could make you WANT to get out of his vehicle into a firefight with some Sectoids after literally skimming the treetops and dodging plasma fire.
Out of all that could possibly be covered from the Stargate franchise, maybe start with the Ancients?
Only 1 Replicator disliked this video
Trucker4Life84 and 3 ba'al clones
And 48 wraiths
and a bunch of academics - professors who are angered at Jackson being called one, when he was a mere PhD 5:02
There is never just one replicator for long...
It replicated. There are now 87 dislikes.
A show on the Wraith would be cool
You covered my favorite sci-if race on my B-day thanks!!!
Happy birthday mate :)
Loving the Stargate vid, but there are a few errors that i heard :P
Tau'ri is Goa'uld name for human, not an ancient name.
I can't find any reference of Goa'uld on Celestis either, although if you have a link it sounds like an interesting storyline and i'd love to read about it :D
Still, great vid!
You misunderstood what I said mate. I said that the Tauri was a name for human, that the ancients used :)
Fair enough, still good stuff as always!
Reminds me a lot of the Yeerks from Animorphs! Perhaps this was a direct inspiration to the book series?
No, Animorphs are older.
These videos are fantastic. Can you do one of Soldier the Curt Russell film?
Yep! I love that film Rafael, will add it to the list now :)
Please do one on the Wraiths from SGA and the SG1 Replicators!
I'm from England, and the TV series use to come on sky 1 before The Simpsons. As a kid I use to wonder why my older brother liked this shit. Me being older(22) this is very interesting and a dope concept. I'd love a reboot, makes a lot of sense and ties to a lot of conspiracies.
Awesome! 🙋
I really like what you guys are doing keep it up!
Thanks Phil, its actually one guy, ME :)
Next up do the Wraith! Stargate's most metal bad guys
indeed
Great video like always, but could you maybe also take a look at the Wraith from the Stargate Atlantis spin of. Could be pretty interesting to hear about them. Great movie, great series
Great video. You should do videos on other Alien Races in the Stargate Universe.
Excellent explanation of the Goa'Uld very detailed, I've always loved the movies and tv series but could you do the ori? I'm quite curious as to how you would explain them love the vids don't ever stop
DragonHunter they were a weak/wasted villian in the series. Could've had so much potential
Yes of course I'll add the ori to the list now, thanks Dragon hunter, all the best of luck in your future dragon slaying :)
I beg to differ, in my opinion the Ori were actually technologically superior to the Goa'Uld, they had no concern for life in general the Goa'Uld would not destroy entire planets if there were a refusal of power acknowledgement yet the Ori would do just that if you refused to worship their gods which were *edit* (Rogue) ancients who became too power hungry that they seen themselves as gods which caused the original people of earth and atlantis to leave the ori galaxy and start anew, as well as, the Goa'Uld were only concerned about our little galaxy however the Ori were directly in complete control of their own galaxy AND began the process of total universal domination. Lest not also forget that it was the ancients who could have easily stopped the Ori but chose not to due to whatever their reasons were I don't recall atm but it was also because of the ancients that our galaxy was not dominated, if it weren't for the fact of daniel jackson becoming an ancient, then an Ori follower w/ the help of Merlin the Tau'Ri wouldn't have ever found the weakness of the Ori. That moment alone was their saving grace if they had not found that weakness, they would not have succeeded in defeating the Ori. but that's just my opinion lol if you still think that they're a weak/wasted villain in the series you're more than welcome to have your opinion hope you're havin a good one either way
DragonHunter theyre rogue "ancients"
ah thank you for that Elbelle, forgot that part lol
lol anyone else get a stargate origins add on this video?! I hadn't even heard of it before!
Nice work as usual
Thanks Tyler
Could you please look at the cylons from Battlestar Galactica?
sure! will add that to the list now :)
good one.
FYI: Based on the series, a single puny nuke wouldn't have been enough to destroy the Abydos stargate. It takes a Mark IX "Gate Buster" bomb to do that.
I really would have liked to see the furlings. They're only ever mentioned in passing and it really would have been interesting to see what their species did to earn their place alongside the Ancients(Altaeans), the Asgard, and the Nox as one of the great races.
Love Stargate both the movie and the TV shows. Thanks for looking into this. Could you look into other things from Stargate like replicators etc
some of the greatest stories ever told in the Stargate series.
If it is not a bother, maybe talk about the wraith? Their origin with the eratus bug as well as genetic manipulation by the Stargate Atlantis team should make for an interesting video, as well as the hive system.
Sounds good Anna! will add that to the list now, thanks for the suggestion :)
anna Binder wraith were super badass
That movie was so great man!!!!
Wow great job on this!
i am in love with this ad i want to see more :D thank you
I would love it if you chronologically went over all the big extraterrestrial enemies which the stargate teams encounter (the replicators, Ori and Wraiths)
This movie was so under dramatized I’m speculating due to its budget because they could’ve done so much more with it. They could’ve explained the alien more and it just could’ve been more.
Wait I just looked and this is the only Stargate video you’ve made. Please make more
Oh man Stargate SG-1 was the best! I loved watching that show growing up. ^_^
I think RA, was in fact, a Goa'uld in a Asgard Body, that transferred to the young teen host. When he was blown to bits in his ship, it was simply the memory of the Goa'uld flashing before it's/our eyes before his end. In the movie, you can clearly see, it is indeed an Asgard that is dying when Daniel talks about RA's origins. This may have been why RA took the lead spot in the order of the System Lords. The slaves Ra had however, were indeed, Human, not Jaffa.
I got an ad for Staregate origins while watching this...
Garrett Allen are they doing a new series?!!
CrunchyTomatoCow It looks like they are indeed doing that
Origins was a miniseries they made last year to see if people still had interest in the franchise.
Do one on all the other races in that universe. Especially two of my favs: The Aschen and Tollan
Please do more on Stargate!
Sure!
FilmComicsExplained thanks your channel is awesome
remind me of the yeerk from animorphs lol. . . creepy sluggy bastards. . .
WOOHOO THANKYOUU SOO MUCH!!
Edit: i remeber watching the show when i was younger with my mom
JellyCarrot Yep. Back then when I bet all of us thought P-90s were the best gun ever. XD!
Jacky Chang mp5's x)
JellyCarrot ? We talking about SG-1 or Atlantis? Oh well. Nevertheless, I'd take a gun over a Staff anyday .
Jacky Chang sg-1 i have faint memory of watchin the pilot episode with my mom, i started watching atlantis waay later and i just love it but sg-1 is just my favoret the whole team and hammond, frazer and woolze
JellyCarrot YES! Teal'c was always my favorite. Followed by Daniel.
Could you cover Cargo please? (The Netflix movie starring Martin Freeman) but great to see you cover Stargate!
Yes its on the list :)
This show was so far out man 🤘🚬✌️👍 Random topic but you always make it interesting. Still shouting out for the flare virus from the maze runner movies
Yay thank you for this!!
oh my god, I love this show
Me too! it was a big part of my childhood! Folks went out Thursday night for dinner dates and I would have the house to myself to watch double episodes that were aired here in in Australia on that day :)
when I first watched it I was hooked on it and I watched all of the episodes on the weekend and I would do again
my family would have a family event for the show, every week we'd sit down an eat while we watch it then discuss how the science behind the episode could relate to what we are studying in science today, kept me an my family very entertained for a very long time
Now we need a video on The Ori and Altierans(ancients) 🙌🏽
Sounds good! will add that to the list now :)
Yay 🙌🏽
Great video! I have another suggestion; you should make a video about Yongary, a monster from a Korean monster movie. I know you’re probably drowning in suggestions, but keep up the good work!
Thanks buddy, I'll add that to the list now :)
You said they banished anubis but in original movie one of Ra guards is called Anubis the one that wears the head of a jackal says it in credits. Then in tv show it said he thought to have been dead but he really just ascended.
The reason why ra was in a asgard body in the movie was because while fighting n losing to the asgard ra was somehow able to get ahold of a leaders body but it rejected him, but in that time they also just so happened to find earth
Loved the the tv show, still hoping that it gets renewed.
