We hand strip our furniture with no power tools and only and upholstery ax and it takes me like 40 min to strip a whole couch . It’s all about the hustle tbh
@@faceliftinteriors brother I’m first generation Mexican American my Mexican dad has been doing this since he was 13 and came to the us market at 18 working with upholstery shops who work only for interior designers here in Houston . I watch all of your videos and only gain knowledge from them I salute you, now I work with my father who has had his own business for going on 20 years now . This art we create we can never let it die brother ! Salute from Houston Texas 💯
It sounds like you and I are living the exact same life. My dad started upholstery at 13, came here to Houston at 18. Now has an upholstery company also located in Houston. I’m Mexican American as well.
Mostly it doesnt. But I also will run a grinder with a sanding disk over the top right after just to make sure. It makes it so much faster its all worth it.
Thats funny, I started doing this about 6 months ago because I got really tired of pulling staples. Thought I was the only one! lol
🙌🏻 working smart Kevin 😉👍🏻

Can you please make a video on types of upholstery threads, sizes and there uses?
I can't see the video for some reason - seriously need this hack
Hi Gill - are you still having problems viewing the video?
Please god buy and wear some safety googles. Or get tiny staple shrapnel in your eyes. You choose.
You’re not wrong Dave 👍🏻
What is the tool called?
It’s called a multi-tool 😊👍🏻
In US we call it an Oscillator
A day to strip webbing??? Get a better lifter mate.
Was more of a turn of phrase but I meant it takes a long time 🤣👍🏻
Won't that leave a load of sharp staple "legs" sticking out?
Mostly it doesnt. But I also will run a grinder with a sanding disk over the top right after just to make sure. It makes it so much faster its all worth it.
What kind of blade is on that
Standard multi tool blade. They also sell straight ones too.
What they said 😊👍🏻
