- in this video, Gary Fong demonstrates button-by-button how to sync your Canon camera with an inexpensive Yungnuo YN560ex flash. This flash is intended as a slave flash, even though it will work on-camera for stroboscopic and manual modes.
It offers a TTL mode, and is even compatible with Nikon as well, should you switch systems. It is a good alternative (at $100) to purchasing a brand-name flash.
In this video, Gary uses the Canon STE-2 Transmitter to fire the Yungnuo, but the principles remain the same no matter which canon infrared method you use to trigger the remote.

Could you please make a video on canon t5i and Youngnuo Yn685, how to set the flash on and off camera. Thanks
Does it have built-in wireless trigger that doesn't require external flash trigger?
