Appreciate the review and evaluation of the two lights. That company certainly does have quite a bit of different models. I believe that you'll find a light for every occasion.
I think the kickdown is a good feature but it can be switched off temporarily by double clicking after it kicksdown (so you have some flexibility). Great video.
The Baton 3 (carrying, charging) case also used USB C. I think they should have included the Magnetic charging cable also, so you don't need the sheath. My seeker 4 just arrived 3 days from ordering:)
I'm actually not a fan of the seeker 4 holster, seems like seeker 3 pouch would protect the flashlight more, please correct me if I'm wrong. Looking to purchase my first Olight
It's a bit of a mix really. The Seeker 3 pouch was brilliant. I think the move it purely to the recent changes to USB C charging. The Seeker 4 holster is great. Super fast and easy to 'deploy' the light however could leave it open to the elements, whereas the Seeker 3 gives more protection however takes more time to get out of the pouch. There's pros and cons for each
Hi there. Hope you're well and having a great week so far. Yes, as the lights are pretty much identical they both fit in each other's sheaths. However, the Seeker 3 won't charge whilst in the Seeker 4 holster. The connection rings on the bottom of the light are slightly different. If you have the Seeker3 in the Seeker4 Holster, you can lift the light slightly to fit the old school charging puck in under the light. Doesn't work, but kinda works with a bit of fudgery 😆
Hmmmm... Can't believe I didn't think about that. I checked and it doesn't work. The bottom of the Seeker 4 looks to have a second connection ring. The Seeker 3 just has the one
This is a good torch, but Olight can be annoying, they keep making the same torch with tiny upgrades so their fanboys will keep buying numerous editions of the same torch. The reviewer at the '1lumen' site uses professional scientific equipment to test flashlight beams. He said "Since I tested the Seeker 3 Pro, I was hoping to see a nice upgrade with higher sustained output. But alas, it wasn’t. They perform so close that it’s hard to call for a winner." The 4 has a holster which you may or not want, different (but not better) LEDS and a bigger button which you may or may not prefer. The 4 doesnt have a lanyard and is a bit bigger in your pocket. Output wise its pretty much the same torch. An example of a new edition done right is the Baton 3 Pro Max which is completely different to the other baton as it adds a way bigger battery and a completely different beam (much wider and less concentrated). Thats an example of a torch worth having even if you have the previous baton -it does very different things.
@@MoorlanderEDC Dont get me wrong I love Olight, but they need to stop making tiny changes and try some new torch designs PS I still strongly recommend the Olight Baton 3 Pro Max
True. I don't think Olight have ever done an adjustable focus light. My go to for that has always been LED Lensor. I know there's other's out there too however they make amazing lights
Yes sir, all day everyday. I have a P7 from 2011. I think mine came with a wee P3. I think I need to pick up another one for some content. The signature is very nice, however the Core is still a cracking light for everyday use.

Cheers Moorlander for another video. Just ordered mine in the orange colour.
Looking forward to hearing your thoughts when it arrived Ash 🤙

The olight marauder 2 is a gd torch to walk the dog. Night becomes day nearly.
I think the Marauder series is one that I've haven't tried yet. I'll ask Olight if they'll send me one
You could walk a dinosaurs 🦕 with the Marauder 2 😉. Try the Marauder mini.

Great review! Funny outtakes at the end as well.
Glad you enjoyed it!
You can deactivate approximately sensor on Seeker 3 Pro too.
Yes, I think they've had the option available on all of their sensor lights. I generally leave it on

Yeah, I priced them online at around $14

You're probably right but these are made tough. I use mine at work in an iron foundry. One channel did a torture test on the 4 pro. It passed.
Waiting for my seeker 4 pro. Anxiously
Just got mine in blue and im in love. Its so good and that blue is indeed the best midnight blue ive ever seen.
Question my RUclips friend will the seeker 4 pro fit in the case of the seeker 3 sheath my RUclips friend???

Can you charger the older generation Seeker flashlights in this holster?

@@MoorlanderEDC thanks for looking for me.
@@kahluacokeno, that's why there are 2 silver rings on the base of the 4. One for olights standard charger and one for the holster.
Does the seeker 3 pro fit in that holster?
Yes. It fits in perfectly however only the Seeker 4 will charge in there. The Seeker 3 will only charge with an old school Olight charger
❤🏴 love from Scotland 🏴 ❤
Hey fella. Sending love from across the wall. Hope you're well and having a cracking weekend so far 🤙
after 11months of useing olight seeker 3 pro -conclusion - the only thing what is good at this lamp is short boost of 4200 lumens in 2.5 mins

Thank goodness they're not the same price as an iPhone. They've been doing that for over a decade 🤣

I look at that at as a pro, not a con. Where I work, it makes more sense to have less moving parts.
