For those unfamiliar, a block zone is a section of ride that only one train may occupy. at the end of a block zone is a method to stop a train in case the block zone ahead is still occupied. this is the safety system that prevents roller coaster trains from colliding into one another.
Today I was the first rider of the day on Wildcat’s Revnge, the station and queue were completely empty and I could sit anywhere, I chose the back row, and the two other people on that train with me chose the front. It was quite the experience.
Can we take a moment to appreciate how genius is a Wave Turn? I mean, It is such a creative concept. Simple yet effective. Sideways airtime? Who could have thought of that? Amazing element.
Hersheypark is so incredibly stacked. And it's a very well balanced park both in terms of coaster collection and the overall park offerings in general. I don't know what they should add next. I guess it would be cool to beef up their shows a bit more and I'm always a fan of more dark rides. Reeses Cupfusion is a bit weird, though just outside of the park the Hershey's Chocolate Tour is very cool so that basically counts.
I've always thought it would be cool if they could add another dark ride, especially since there are sooo many different types of Dark Rides they could choose from.
Honestly, just my 2 cents, I think a family-family/thrill launch coaster could do wonders at Hershey Park. Like something similar to Juvelen from Djurs Sommerland. Hershey has a really REALLY good lineup, but a few more family-ish rides wouldn't hurt, and Juvelen is perfectly suited to thrill both average park goers, and hardcore enthusiasts, and fills a really good role in the park's lineup
@@drdewott9154 I think that would work quite well. I think it would also be cool to give it an indoor/outdoor component with some theming like Verbolten or Hagrid. I know they have Laff Trakk as an indoor coaster but a family launched indoor/outdoor coaster would feel very different from Laff Trakk and be very popular. Maybe do some kind of chocolate factory tour "gone wrong" where you zoom through the factory causing a mess and then you launch outdoors for the more thrilling section. I think that would have a pretty broad appeal and could run several trains.
And soaking the crowds up! Ops were really really good with the unload station and the lockers. They were sending trains not even fully loaded and the line was still moving quick.
Been going to Hershey park since 2010, RMC-ing Wildcat was on the top of my wish-list for a while. The park is so special and now it just got even better!
I am just so happy that there is finally an RMC on the East Coast close to me (NYC here). This will be my first RMC ever and I just can't wait to ride it 😁

I don't think it's registered until today that I have an RMC 45 minutes from my house 😂😭 Also, it's insane how great Hershey's lineup is! I truly think if they give the titan track treatment to Lightning Racer in a few years it will have the best lineup of any park. I was commenting a couple days ago about how sea world and bush gardens are pumping out new rides like every year and it’s incredible. The one thing I left out was Hershey Park because they’re killing it right now. Great videos and content love it
This thing looks like one of the better rmcs, behind the hyper hybrids. It looks like a super sized joker, great inversions, but better airtime and improved elements, both have lots of similarities, the underlip, the double down, the stall, the half airtime hills which should go into an overbank, but here they go into a wave turn with airtime. Since Hersheypark is a park full of polarizing coasters, I think this is gonna be the best at the park for many people. As for the rest of the people, Wildcats Revenge, Skyrush, and Candymonium might be the best top 3 out of any park, not to mention Farenheight, Storm runner, and Great bear as Great supporting coasters.
It was nice getting to meet you at the park on Monday! Loved the shots you got of Wildcat. Hershey Park has one of the best lineups in the country, and it’s awesome that it’s my home park.

So excited that I will get to check this new coaster out at Hersheypark in July! A friend of mine and I are doing a road trip through some of PA's theme parks this summer and Hershey was the top one on our list that we wanted to visit during that trip. Thanks for the great review and fun video! =)
This coaster reminds me of Iron Gwazi with the lift hill and drop. Loved the tribute to the ride op and to the original wildcat. I hope to one day make it here to ride it. Oh, and that fudge looked 🤤😄
That's so funny. When we went Monday to ride it, I also said i miss the dying seal! They should have made a recording of it and played it everytime the train hit the break run for good ol time sakes. But this ride hands down, fantastic! So lucky Hersheypark is my homepark. What's crazy is that with all the new expansions over the past three years there! A new B&M hyper, a re-done boomerang that became the best boomerang out there and now an RCM! All in 3 years! Crazy crazy expansion! What even more nuts! They aren't done! I read that Hersheypark signed the contract with B&M that their next 5 coasters will be B&M. So there is more to come! Rumors of a potential new dive coster is next. Hersheypark has become one of the best parks out there. It is currently on the top 10 but after wildcat revenge, I won't be shock if it gets bumped up to top 5. But we will see. Riding it on its opening day to passholders was really sentimental beacuse i remember when i road wildcat on its opening day back in 96. So went full circle
Wildcats revenge from what everyone has been saying is a back row ride for the best experience with this RMC specifically although every seat is good the back was the favorite. I am going on a rollercoaster road trip with some friends next week and Hershey Park is the last destination on the trip. I have been so hyped to ride Wildcats revenge especially after falling in love with RMC getting to ride Iron Rattler, Steel Vengeance, and Iron Gwazi. I cannot wait to compare this one to it.
Hey! Awesome video! Met you guys at Kings Island today and it was awesome (Invertigo Bathrooms) and yall were super chill and also had the honor of being the first youtubers I've met! Also would like your guy's opinion on Adventure Port (Even though Sol Spin isn't open yet)
I’m with you Taylor, it’s hard to tell will 1 ride. I put Wildcat’s Revenge 2 right now just because it didn’t feel as forceful as Skyrush. I rode on pass holder preview on Tuesday and there were not many pass holders there so I think it was not warmed up and was running a little slow. The first airtime hill was great, the sideways pops of air from the first 2 wave turns were really good. I was a little disappointed with the step up underflip. I hoped that would have been more forceful.
Wildcats Revenge definitely looks like the best ride in the park, I hope to ride it very soon, I wonder where it ranks with all the other RMC's that you've ridden? Also like you debating which ride is the best, I'm currently like that with twisted colossus and wonder woman, I can't decide which one is better, so currently they tie for the number one spot, but I still can't decide because they're both too good. But anyways keep up the good work and God bless you all
I 100% passed you three on your way out near the skyrush back route. My girlfriend accidentally bumped into you Taylor I think too. I knew it was you but wasn’t for sure!!! So glad you got to experience wildcats revenge!!!!
The coaster was awesome! We'll be back in a couple of weeks on the way to Con to ride it again! The fudge is chocolate, vanilla and raspberry with crushed Kit Kat and potato chips. The ice cream was dark chocolate with raspberry notes and chopped Kit Kat. Both were yummy!
For those finding Skyrush painful, I've found that scooting forward so that the bar pinches closer to my pelvis rather than halfway down my thighs can help make the airtime more enjoyable.
The one thing i would like to see hershey do is get a mack xtreme spin....as for location put it towards the aqua theater just because there isn't much over there. Plus you could weave around the creek and side parts of stormrunner
Fantastic ride with an amazing feel. Two minor criticisms. One: To many rolls. They're great as a surprise, but by the fourth one it's a little redundant. And two: It's short. It has enough speed for another hill or helix. But all in all -- it's in my Top 5.
I’ll be finally riding it next Saturday maybe after vacation in July Im pretty disappointed with the shirts I expected them to change and add the animated roller coaster track with the official logo
Finally got to ride this just yesterday, and so glad it was my first RMC. This is the top ride in the park, hands down, but I was never a fan of Skyrush.
The true original Wildcat was built in 1923. The Wildcat you kept referring to as the “original”, was actually the second version, built in 1996. And when it opened that summer. It’s tagline was ‘The Cat is Back.” However, it’s nice that you thought number 3 was great as well.
I managed to get a back row ride and it is whole different world in the back row. It throws you around and it feels like your being ripped apart, but it is my first rec but I hope I can get up to cedar point for steel vengeance

@@concertscoastersandnitro725 the only problem with Pantheon trains would be the major capacity decrease which is why I chose Hyperion though I would prefer pantheon trains as well

RMC's are all very good. The three ive been on feel very similar which is fine. My only complaint is the the restraints on all are not very good and im a smaller person. I feel for bigger people because those restaints start to hurt after multiple rides
restraints on RMCs are terrible. I love Hakugei which I rode last month but those RMC restraints suck! so painful on the thighs. Part of the reason why I still rank Velocicoaster over Hakugei....
Based on what I have seen and my previous experience with RMC's (Rode 18 different ones thus far), I'm guessing upper mid tierish. I don't expect this to be in my upper tier (Steel Vengeance, Iron Gwazi, Arie Force One, and Lightning Rod). If it is real good I could see it in the next tier of Twisted Timbers and Outlaw Run. I like airtime on RMC's, so if it just doesn't have enough airtime, then maybe the next tier of Iron Rattler, Storm Chaser, and Twisted Colossus. Those are my thoughts going into it and I will be riding it in July. And hopefully by year's end I will be at 22 RMC's. It is still awesome Hershey got it because it is such a huge improvement over Wildcat. adds another great coaster to Hershey's line-up.
@@Marty_NZ don’t let these thunderhead videos fool you. Lightning Rod when running well is elite. Canobie is correct. @@Marty_NZ Whats with all the people shitting on Lightning Rod all of a sudden? I know they slightly decreased the launch speed but I've heard that only affects the experience immediately after the launch.
@@moekitsune Not sure. My first experience with it was in 2022 and it's a mid tier RMC at best compared to the others I've done. You then have people like Canobie Coaster that still ranks it as his number 1 after over 1000 credits so who knows what's really going on.
I thought to myself, "Ha-ha! I've got the very first pass-holder preview slot! I'll have a credit Sarah and Taylor don't have, at least for a little while." But noooo, I got on it 20 minutes after you did.
Honestly, more excited about the unload and load stations with 3 trains and no midcourse than the underflip. If they can keep 3 trains running, capacity should be elite
Random thought: I wouldn’t be surprised if Skyrush was either altered or removed in the next 10 years. Skyrush gets the i305 treatment and might be too intense for people. Every time I ride it’s a walk on. Meanwhile, candymonium, Fahrenheit, wildcat, and storm runner will always have long lines.
What an amazing tribute to ride op who passed on. Major shout out to Hershey Park for that!

Lightning Rod has no place in the same tier as Iron Gwazi Alan. Also, you can't let a dude from New Zealand get on Wildcats Revenge before you.
@@Marty_NZ don’t let these thunderhead videos fool you. Lightning Rod when running well is elite. Canobie is correct. In terms of Wildcats Revenge I’m taking my 11 year nephew on a coaster trip in July. I will get it at that point. Hey I just got Shivering Timbers. I know a bunch of people who are missing that one. Only been open 25 years.
@@Marty_NZ It is my #4 overall and I'm approaching 500 credits.
Wildcat's Revenge is designed by Joe Draves ? Because is weird that rcdb does not say who is the designer.
Lost Island, move your park to south central Kansas between Frontier City and Worlds of Fun.
RMC has rolling blocks now. Wow
Taylor, the coaster I’m looking forward to is Dragster 2.0. What do you think they’ll do to fix it up come 2024?
Hersheypark's skyrush and wildcat's revenge is just like energylandia's hyperion and zadra
Wildcat's Revenge Is Opening Today At Hershey Park 😀🎢
Wait IT OPENED?!
Fun!
Lost Island is my home park and we went there last year
“Babe wake up, the new Coaster Studios video dropped!”
Dang did they edit this while riding? Way quick with the upload as usual 👍🏼
This wasn’t today because it had a line and the coaster is closed today for media day and commercial shoot
So. Candymonium, farenheight or storm runner for that 3rd spot?
