Great reaction - and I hope you have learned your lesson - by all means check out the official videos, they are really good, but always follow that up with a live performance and wonder at their skills and stage presence.🤘🦊🤘 'Karate' live at Budokan 2021 ... you didn't even need to ask, just do it.😁
Thanks again from Japan 有難う💛。BxMxC is one in the setlist played during BABYMETAL's ongoing North American Tour with Dethklok. This compilation video includes a show at Budokan in 2021 that I saw at the venue. 😍 Su-Metal is singing about some established style which used to be revolutionary and literally "stylish" but has turned already obsolete like an "Illusion of Rusted Chain" (last phrase of Su's rapping). Lyrics are suggesting breakthrough in or challenge to the status-quo (including the status of BM itself). When I heard this song in CD for the first time, I was skeptical that this challenging song would be played live on stage. But they did it flawlessly with clear vocal and sharp choreo. I witnessed it twice on Day-7 & 8 in 10 BABYMETAL BUDOKAN concerts in 2021. I, a poor skeptic, had to beg our Queen & Princesses for their forgiveness. 🥶
My babymetal show was last week here in Nashville and it was AMAZING!!! So proud of the crowd and how they were on point for all the participation parts. I've seen clips of other shows where they weren't. My only complaint was I WANTED MORE!!!! And I'm getting it next weekend at Louder than Life 🤘🦊🤘
I may be a minority, but I like some of the MVs. Megitsune and Karate. As a person who doesn't speak or understand Japanese, karate visually explains the story and Megitsune has Su with her Tanto :)
I think you got it right, I agree that these two M/Vs are the ones to include for a new journey into the foxhole. Maybe IINE official for the shock value from a reactor.
Especially Megitsune MV is awesome and worth a watch for every fan IMO. I especially like the part where she pulls out the tanto from the mic rather than the kick she does live.
Great reaction as always, thanks! No, no... you actually did the correct. I think that the proper way to fully enjoy BABYMETAL is listening to the studio recording first (or watching the music video with the studio version) and then watching the live performance. And if you enjoyed this fan-made compilation montage, wait until you watch an actual pro-shot from a live performance. 😁 🤘🦊
There are music videos for BABYBETAL that you should see, like HeadBanger, for example. It does a good job of explaining the narrative. So, just watch it all, knowing that their live performances are as good or better than live.
"Megitsune" "Karate" and now "Metali" are the best official videos I can recommend seeing. But Live versions are always going to be superior. Oh...and Su Metal has mentioned in the past that she feels possessed when she is on stage which could explain why she sounds amazing live.
Thanks for this reaction. Glad you liked it and not surprised you did. You do know Babymetal is touring in the US, right now ? I would wish you to see them live live if you could. Still hits harder than the live video. 🙂
Don't blame yourself since most of their MVs are very captivating lol 🦊🤘🏼and BxMxC might be my favorite from them alongside Starlight wich I recommend you to check both the MV & Live, kudos to the production team since it's a really immersive experience watching an old school Japanese game scenario like that with cool effects and art that BxMxC showcased, I feel like most traditional Metal bands do not even do these type of themes anymore outside of the norm Neoclassical, Symphonic & Power Metal.
Sometimes you miss 1/3 of the action when you are dancing, ( I think you missed the "fight" scene in "iijime..", the B M C hand spelling by SuMetal, various other things) but I'm sure you must rewatch them so I hope you caught them all. If you can find the translation for the lyrics you will gain even more knowledge and appreciation. Usually MV comes out before any live version. If you can get the full live version rather than a compilation.
You didn't do anything wrong. Personally, I think you have to see the music video first to get a feel for the song so when you watch the live version you know the surroundings and the story behind the song. But the biggest thing for anyone who watches both is that Su duplicates the studio performance perfectly with even more flair and her trademark regal haughtiness in the live performance. She went to the top of the world rap chart in one song. Literally no one else could duplicate this, even if they spoke Japanese. And this song goes more towards the origins of rap, like Sugar Hill Gang, Heavy D and the Boyz, House of Pain and other similar artists, with actual musical compositions, before the West Coast gangsters ruined everything. Her voice in this song is beyond any sane description. So, no worries on your part are necessary.
In this song and performance, they are Goddesses of Metal, and they know it, the swagger is off the charts. The best part for me is after Su's vocals finish and we get the headbanging and the high kicks. 11/10, will watch again 😎

Headbanger, iine and Karate help explain some of the song, so they are sort of essential.

Have a great day
Yes
You didn't make a mistake by watching the mv first. Most of us did, before we saw a live version. Both have their merits, and the mv slaps.
Great reaction as always, thanks!

Alright! Glad you saw the live version!
New suggestion: Nigh Night Burn - Babymetal + salsa.
Enjoy 😂 🤘🦊😉🦊
Love It 🔥🤘🦊🤘🔥

They're always better live.
Coool
Pretty funkin metal for a manufactured non- metal band 🦊⚡️👊🏽🤘🏾

Maybe you should see them World Tour in Jakarta when they perform this song, you'll love the crowd. No need to react just watch. Thank you 🤘🏻🦊🔥
And I recommend the video uploaded by "dwiangrrr" thank you 🤘🏻🦊
He's in the US, I would recommend go see them live,... but I think he might already be to late ?
@@autohmaeYes, it's true that seeing BM live is a must. And I don't know, it depends on where he lives
If you liked the original, it would make Sense to find a good live version. Don't apologise, there is no need to
Yes, you did a bad thing and don't do it again 🤣🤘🏼🦊🤘🏼
Hello
I have been watching your videos but not your lives.
