I'm a new driver from SW Ontario myself and really enjoy your videos. I'm really enjoying my new job in trucking, quite frankly I don't feel complete until I'm behind the wheel each day. I'm home every day (not long haul) but wish I got into this industry years ago. Thanks for the great content.
Oh, my heart rate! Really dig this POV...but it looks like your truck won't fit. I don't know how you fit in that chair with those church bells! Safe travels to you.
Binge watching them ALL ❤ One after the other, I'm on "home time" for a while, having surgery, I'm missing trucking So snowy and stressful by the bridge signs, been in that situation before, but I couldn't stop watching this 🙃 On your videos sometimes it seems like you're going really fast, biting my nails! Great skills, awesome videos! FLORIDA here, waving a hand back to you, DRIVE SAFE!! 😎 ⛱
Thank goodness you’re back I’m having right along with drawls I just love these right along‘s you teach me more than you think Monday I start training at northern Academy transport training Sudbury Ontario for my AZ thank you for inspiring me by the way I think you’re an awesome driver
Awesome Awesome video at 6:00 in. Been there a lot of times. I drove the produce hauls from Florida to Boston then Northern Maine (400 miles north of Portland) to haul potato’s back to NC back in the late 80’s. I’ve been there without any cell phone or live weather reports. Last Christmas I was with my GF and her mama going to Conway NH in my pick up truck in the same conditions. I LOVED IT!! Got to my SweetIes brothers house in Conway with 2’ of snow on the ground with no power at his house. How did our ancestors survive that BS? Love this video bro
I needed to get out of a bad place kinda like this out in the middle of nowhere, long story short, sent her in the ditch lol, only had 3 weeks of experience at that point and it was the first snow fall.
It was a heart throbbing ride. It is about time to change your tractor. If you want to stay in this business then get a new one preferably a cab over body. Safe driving.
Hello man, great video. I'm an old guy... it's just an idea, can you find windshield washer antifreeze at -22°F? By searching a lot I found -58°F to mix, but in only one store
Just seen this, but your comment about the roads looking much better as soon as you crossed into NY is dead on. PA does not care about clearing the roads, we get a 3" "storm" give them 3 business days and they might have one lane mostly clear. Cross state lines and clear blacktop.
Winter wiper tips. Use ultrahigh speed, especially when trucks pass to help clear the icy snot; not the best for wipers, however.. lol. Also keep a squirt water bottle, filled with the winter fluid to keep iceies down to a dull roar (edit: squirt from the cab!) Do not try in freezing rain; although it will work to PARK, as your tires won't be as useful. 🗯 Patience is INVALUABLE when playing with trucks. Word.
Oh man I was pissed I stopped recording too soon, that guy completely ignored his stop sign and barrelled right into my lane! Was laying on the air horns good
All this concern for the truck drivers safety is touching, but I'm always thinking, what's in it for them? Because most of the law makers don't know we exist.
Week 42. I've run out of leather to soak in hot water and eat. Two truckers tried to move out last week and were never heard from again. Two more fought to the death in an empty trailer for the last french fry anyone has seen since this began. I record this for future history to know what really happens when the snow sets in and truckers are forced, unable to move forced to be closer and closer as supplies dwindle, gas prices rise the battle to be the one goes on. I must go now. Back to slumber. Conserve energy for the fight that may never come. The fight for the best load board price. That is if anything else is still living outside of this stop. This could very well be it. The end of it all. I'm proud of the work I have done. Although I do sorta hope if this is the end it's the end for us all. Thousands of years from now my skeleton and truck could be on display in a museum. An exhibit that shows how primitive humans drove products that had to be handmade and shipped instead of printed. And there what's left of me sits in my cab with a sign. Trucker from the ancient era of land transportation. Died trying to deliver his load of fleshlights to the needy....
Trucker path used to be good but it’s popularity has died off since they brought in glitchy ads, Google maps, “units plus” unit calculator, and a good weather app!
This morning I was in the yard and I finally my trailer back and I got down to Milwaukee near the port area and I was unloading Lime and this big 389 comes up and the driver gets out don’t even know the guy right and comes up and says heyyy your 379 is a peace of crap like wow I love 379s
What's that song at the end? Is it just something you wrote? Don't know why, but I'm getting serious Pink Floyd vibes from it. But if it is a Pink Floyd song, I have no idea what song it is
@@StrikerV3 not sure if they’re still in business, but mine are Everblades. About ten years ago, it was a hundred dollar bill. Came with everything I needed. Flip w switch and your wipers are 200 degrees in about 15 seconds. Heats the blades themselves and the arms. They’re great. I. The spring, I take them off and run regular wipers. Simple matter of unplugging them. Total game changer for winter driving.
@@callthemall you really should put a set of Everblades on your rig ice melts on contact no more driving bind because of a iced up windshield .Not cheap though

"stay between the mustard and mayo". Is that something you came up with? Or do a lot of truckers know that term? I got it immediately. I love it!

Hey you have to stop at a Walmart and get yourself some Michelin winter wiper blades I use them all the time they're great....

Does Canadian truck laws require you to keep chains on your trucks in the more rural provinces????
Crazy to see the area I live and work in on RUclips.
I would love to see a video in detail of you going over your day to day and how you get loads etc. etc.
Well I’m brokered to a company that dispatches me the loads, and can’t say too much about that end unfortunately!
@@callthemall So basically it’s your truck and trailer and they give you the loads and they get a % ?
