I love the idea of a fluted pedestal would be a great DIY! I wouldn't commit to a large piece of furniture because I think it will be a dust collector that is on the harder side to clean. I think I might try the pedestal though. Thanks for that idea! Love the niche idea too. My husband is thinking that is too hard for him to handle but we have a space between cabinets that is begging for it and I will convince him!

In the UK, wainscoting, also called wain skirting, is just the wood that runs above the floor along the bottom of the wall. What you are referring to, often seen in Victorian and Edwardian houses, is called panelling xx

Going back to your topic on fluting, absolutely love it, I've fluted a partial wall in my house adds such great texture and depth, and looking to flute my tv Media unit, but Ikea just came out with some fluted cabinet doors, might save myself a diy 😉 your channel is great, always looking forward to what your doing next 😊

I love the wall niches and the fluted decor. But the fluted furniture has been around a long time. I’ve seen it on antiques but using the half round dowels, not the squared-off (sharp edge) look. I would love to see you create a fluted display stand, or whatever you call those things. Love a banquette-want one in my house. What I’d love to see a youtuber create is one of those French trumeau mirrors. I keep telling myself I’m going to make one someday.

Loved your video; always enjoy hearing you talk about décor, trends, diy, etc. Love wall niches and fluting! Thought about using dowels to make a fluted look on a cabinet, but was unsure if it was a dated look and didn't try it. Now I will! Also love fireplaces and the cozy feeling of them. Thank you. You’re so young, some of the decorating comments you make are so funny! When you say I think wainscoting would look good in a bathroom I just think of the last twenty years of tearing out wainscoting from bathrooms!

I love arches and you made me think that I could update my bathroom with one for the shampoo niche. Also I'm considering adding curved wood pieces to the tops of my built-ins next to the fireplace to change square shelves into arches. I'm interested in fluted tiles. Not so much into fake fireplaces.

I wanted to make a papermache bowl .. yeah, nope. then, I wanted to bleach the old dress I found on FB Marketplace and yet it sits in the garage lol... what are your secrets to tackle these projects?? It's so crazy. I live in an apartment and the dining room is just a little closed in spot in the living room. So I decided to make it a banquette seating. Would you be open to styling my space?
