It's not rambling when you are making a point in home decor, which is why we are all here! You make your videos very personable and informing at the same time, which is a breath of fresh air.
I love when you ramble..its so genuine. it feels like as if we are friends are we talking over the hone or cofee. Love this channel ,specially you being Hispanic, am Latina and love your brand CASA REfiend
Damn this is the only dude on RUclips doing these type of Scandinavian / Colin king style content for RUclips. So happy this exists and more creators hop on this.
Love the tips! Really gold advice across the board. Especially the slow design part. I had a room designed in one of those decorating service websites a few years ago. Took me over a year to pull everything off. Made a few adjustments, a few DIYs, at the end I love the result. The fluidity part too. The first part I finished in my home was the living room. Today I look at it and see how much my taste has evolved and I'm itching to update everything!
I love your video style, just the right balance of focused and chatty. 😊 Some really cool tips here! I also get overwhelmed by inspiration some times - good idea to create a mood board and list.
You are definitely my favourite diner on RUclips! You are so talented and creative. Your background really pays off for you - and us, as your subscribers.😊 Thank you so much for your awesome instructional videos and unique ideas!!
You definitely aren't rambling. I love your conversational style in your videos! It's like your chatting with us rather than reading a script and that is much more enjoyable.
I loved this video, well done and thank you! One other tip I would suggest is to figure out cable / cord management. In my opinion, seeing cables and cords of any kind are disruptive to my eye and can really disrupt an otherwise beautiful design. Maybe you could do a video on DIY solutions for this?
No I love your rambling you are so right and so insightful and right on I love his funny you are!!!👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽I'm working on decluttering Our space . The "slow design " I'm impatient too but trying to work on this and buying stuff and setting it in corners of my house waiting To use while I redo areas but now that adds to clutter so I need to learn to accept slow design cuz guess what by the time I get to that area my taste has changed and now I have NEW stuff to get rid of 🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️ love getting natural stuff outside in my yard on side of the road and in the grocery store. Love your thoughts keep them coming !💛🌻
Love your videos. I pick up sticks and branches as I walk around the neighborhood. I’ve been doing this for many years so I feel happy I have been ahead of the trend. 👍🏼
Great tips! Right now we are having a house built so I am having a hard time keeping myself from going out and buying everything in site. I want to stick to second hand on a lot of things and opt for refinishing or refurbish a piece. Even then it is still hard to fight the urge to buy buy buy.
Thank you! I always tell ppl to get rid of something if they don't want it. It doesn't matter if it was a gift or not. I constantly tell friends & family not to give me things! But they do anyways! & No you weren't rambling 💕🙂
I never feel you're rambling; I enjoy your insights. I agree 100% about hand soap. Currently I have fig and basil soap next to my kitchen sink. Conversely, nothing seems cheaper and more insulting than that thick pink stinky hand soap that is often our only option in public. I get my fresh florals at Trader Joe's. They have beautiful bouquets already selected, and also small bunches of the same flower that you can put together. They have tall orchids that are very classy, and in season willow branches and cherry blossom branches. Everything is extremely good value and the flowers tend to last longer than average.
I follow so man of the tips in this video. I like a clutter free house, so I have more simple decor, no collections. I designate certain rooms and spaces as "clutter free" zones. For my house it was the kitchen, formal dining room, and guest bath. So in the living area, the kids could kick off their shoes, eat popcorn, play games etc. But at the end of the day, everything went back to where it belonged, as I made sure everything had a "home." (When the boys were teenagers, I didn't worry about their rooms until the weekend. They made very good grades and were extremely active, so I let them have their own space, their bedrooms.) And, I will add that I made sure there was a hot meal on the stove every evening.... it was my gift to my family!! It is interesting that the kids are now married with their own families, and they have continued these "traditions!"
Thumbs up👍🏽 for choosing good photos to support your tips, and they also gave me some great ideas. Always look forward your ideas and inspiration.😊Thanks
Jorge where can I get scones the light ones over the couch or they call task I think lol God bless you n am always watching ur videos good job ism learning alot to decorate
"Can't Stop Won't Stop"... Asi es... Just when you think, Yay it's done... You come on RUclips and see what Mr. Gomez has new... Aye Dios Mio... I'm not done... lol xoxo
I so agree with the idea of hiding "smart" speakers! My husband wants them all around the house! I try to hide them too! On another note, is it OK to place 2 runners, jute type, on a long walkway in the house? Thanks for the tips.
Something I learned is to add the dimensions of the room together in feet and then convert that to inches. The answer to that should be the diameter of the lighting fixture. For example, if your room is 10x14 the diameter of the fixture should be 24".
@@ashleys4652 do you mean covert or change it to inches? So 10+14 =24. So that would make 24 inches. Converting feet into inches it would be 288 inches. Just trying to understand.
Slow design…. How true this is…. This is how you create classic look, eventually. Best tip for beginner, copy similar look from showrooms you love and don’t just pick random thing. This will come off mix match in style.
That's a good point! Those materials are often involve more maintenance. With so many options these days I can appreciate the ones that look (and often feel) like the real thing. With a little research, you can find some good laminate wood floors out there.

But, truthfully, your sense of humor brings me joy!!!😄💕
Yes! His humor, as well as Arvin’s.

The fluidity part too. The first part I finished in my home was the living room. Today I look at it and see how much my taste has evolved and I'm itching to update everything!
Thanks Bruno! Yes, fluidity can be useful in design. Thanks for tuning in!

A home is functional and should be livable. It gets messed up BUT CLEAN IT UP.
A clean tidy home is good for your mental health.

Sweet! I would say it can be good option.
You have a beautiful home
I use unscented hand soap it’s better for the skin.
I am more interested in your burgundy florals in the vase
Nice video
I really like your style. What's your favorite interior wall color currently? What are your thoughts on various colors throughout the home?

I love the red leaves in the bg, what is it?
It's eucalyptus, I think he shared a link to it in a previous video :)
Linked in the description. Dried eucalyptus and I love it!
When I was watching your filming equipment links I realized the microphone and the tripod shares the same link. Maybe you didn't notice it.
Thanks for bringing it to my attention!
👍👍👍
Also have you gotten sponsors yet?? If not they should be coming soon! lol
Thanks! They're here but am being very selective and want to make sure they align well with the channel and bring value to you! Stay tuned 😎

Thanks

I actually don’t like the effort involved in caring for natural materials - like wood floors 😅 what’s a good compromise?
That's a good point! Those materials are often involve more maintenance. With so many options these days I can appreciate the ones that look (and often feel) like the real thing. With a little research, you can find some good laminate wood floors out there.
Love the tips but too much rambling 🤣🤣
Guilty- can’t accept slow design. I like change, like trends. Slow design is for someone who likes to stick to the same style.
I don't like milking strolls. Are we pretending that we also milk Bessie out yonder? Enough, already with the farm bullshit.
Unless you live on a farm.
