You two are my favorite content artists of this genre. I have said many times, Taku's knife and plating skills are worth the price of admission. I'm also happy that Jocelynn is featured with her skills more often.
It truly is amazing how far you channel has come Taku. From working full time and making some videos on the beach to now going on these beautiful and amazing adventures with the love of your life. Great video as always and keep it up!
i live in the middle of Wyo, casper, and i’ll say it’s pretty cool to see youtubers i love, actually show interest and visit and show off my beautiful home state! Wyoming is under appreciated, it’s a beautiful place, even tho it can be lonely desolate and harsh
I thought the iguana episode was awesome! I love watching you guys harvest wild foods and make amazing meals. You have absolutely inspired me to step up my sushi game. Hunt, fish, forage! Keep doing what you're doing and keep expanding. You guys are great. Don't stress the haters
I second that. All the other folks in that space are very much hunters and not cooks. Well, Steve is a pretty good cook but he is more a journalist and outdoor enthusiast. There is no real chef in that space right now covering all the bases. And the learning part would be fun to watch.
My cat loves your videos, we always sit and watch them together on my lunch break 😂 he especially loves when you guys eat, he waits patiently for his bite lol
Nothing says YT entertainment like a catch and cook! Let's not forget the part where we thank the fish for sacrificing it life so we can eat. No catch no problem you can still watch us eat!
Aloha, great channel. For me not so much the content but the presenters!. Two lovely people, gentle, respectful and always interesting commentary. Your success is because of you. And the quality of these vlogs without a production team , wow, hope viewers realize this isnt all relax fun but enormous time editing, planning. Aporeciated as some cant make these trips but we get to enjoy them with you as hosts! Mahalo from big island! Loved your shows from here!
As an avid hunter myself I love the idea of some hunting videos!!! Wild game can be great table fare when prepared properly! I hunt primarily whitetail deer but duck, squirrel, elk, moose and rabbit can be some of the best food ever!
Wowzer. That momma Moose was sketch! I'm calling it for you guys: One Million subs by the end of 2023!! You guys deserve it so much. I've been watching since your actual 3rd video, Coastal foraging: Making seafood chowder + weird giant sea creature. You guys basically got me through COVID as I was stuck at home in the mountains teleworking for nearly 2 years. I'm such a HUGE fan and love that you're living your best life.
You should try and get ahold of steve Rinnella for your first hunt. He is amazing at what he does and i think your personality matches his as far as nature, life, and cooking goes!
If you do do hunting on this platform you should make a second channel for it and then do cooking on this channel still, because I do watch a handful of hunting channels and they have to be very careful about what they post to be monetized and sometimes they aren't even monetized they just have sponsors
Yes! Show hunting even if it has to be a new channel to appease ‘people’. We, that follow, support and are of like-mindedness. Y’all are my favorite ones to follow and always look forward to more content. Jocelyn, do more cooking and photography! Thank you both for all your inspiration and hope to join you both in a meet up event. Much love from Dallas, Texas from a girl married to a Bay Area Man 😂 Keep it up and we love you guys
I'm so glad, you guys share your adventures with us, you guys are show the future generations, love and respect for nature and the gifts it can give us. I love watching brings peace to my soul.
The sear on that tomahawk and the burned fat on the edge. That has got to be to most appetizing thing next to the Paella you made a while back ago with rock fish and dungenous crab!
Been awhile since I've visited the Tetons, but they show a small facet of the beauty of Wyoming, my home. Love your content and keep up the amazing work.
Knife is life! im just a simple person who loves to cook and really love japanese food.. It is always my dream of having a real japanese knife.. Big fan here from Philippines..
I've been to the Grand Tetons back in 2020 and it was the MOST gorgeous landscape i have ever seen. It felt so untouched and natural that you actually feel like you'v escaped life for a moment. I also saw giant moose, elk, rams, bison, and all sorts of other wildlife. 10/10 best place to go.
Born and raised in Wyoming! I’m so glad y’all got to enjoy the beauty! Love you guys been watching for years now! Oh and BTW, Steak Baled potato (fully loaded) with corn is a full on WYO meal! #307

I love your vlog so much! I only recently discovered but have now watched every episode and some more than once. I have learned so much about new recipes, making better sushi, fishing techniques and fileting fish. Thank you too you both for sharing. It is very inspiring for those who may not be able to get out there themselves. I look forward to all of your future episodes and adventures!
Come back to Yosemite. I am a ranger there and would love to see more content from the best National Park. Come in late May when the waterfalls are booming and Tioga Pass is open! Beware of reservations but I could possibly show you a few hidden gems 💎
Was born in Sheridan Wyoming...raised in the Bighorn mountains ...been to the Tetons and Yellowstone more times than I can count...love buffalo , but was raised on Elk...we are in SW Virginia these days with our own organic farm and we raise our own meats...hoping to try a grass fed tomahawk for Christmas (angus beef)...love your show
Wow Taku and Jocelyn, that tomahawk looked amazing! I tried buffalo for the first time in Montana and now enjoy buffalo steaks more than beef. Keep fishing and making that delicious food!
Hunting and and fishing are two gloves that fit your two hands. Some see fishing as more 'passive' but it's still taking game for your food. But I can certainly see starting an entirely new channel to dive into the aggressive hunting techniques. Another channel would also give you another income stream. Keep doing great things Taka!!
Well the master has spoken. His family raises bison. So 119 internal is perfect as per Sgt slime. Because his family raises them he knows best. Listen to him because his family raises them. He said 119 internal so don't go over because his family raises them and knows.

Would love to see hunting content from you, but even if you created a second channel, I imagine it could be tough trying to put a lot of effort into it, knowing already it would not generate any income. Forty-five years ago I hiked in the Grand Tetons. It was a 7 mile hike in to the camp area. The ranger told us all the water could be drunk without any purification. It was cool from the melting snows and delicious. Only saw one moose on the hike back out the following day.
That chili crisp is on point, love that stuff. You have to try some perfect scrambled eggs on a piece of wheat toast with the crisp on top. You won’t regret it.
A pinch undercooked but still surely delicious! Also when you took that big chug of beer after cooking was complete, even though I had no part in the process, I felt that satisfaction with you, haha.

Wow, I have been loving this adventure. Alaska was so incredible. The Tetons look so majestic too. It will be nice later when you go some mushroom foraging.
