Yeah, I mean, Alastor despite being a very powerful overlord, is still just a sinner and restricted to the pride ring. While Stolas, has a huge amount of inherited power, and can also travel across all the rings AND the human realm. So like, the domains over which their power holds good is also quite different y'know. Stolas will be a mighty prince of hell in all 7 rings, while Alastor is just powerful in one ring.
Yup, the power scaling/hell's hierarchy from bottom to the top goes: Imps and Hell Hounds; succubus, incubus and other hellborn other then hellhounds and imps; all the sinners; overlords (very powerful sinners ex: Alastor); The Ars Goetia family/demons; The Seven Deadly Sins; Charlie and Lilith; and at the very top there's Lucifer [one of the Seven Deadly Sins (Pride) but the real big shot ruler of hell, more powerful then anyone. People have even set it to the Doom music. It's great to see Loona get to really show off her strength. She's a 7 foot tall hellhound. You know she's going to be badass in a fight. And instead of berating or belittling his boss by using language as a weapon he will speak his mind calmly and with respect.
Man, this is my favorite episode of the series so far and I'm glad you enjoyed it so much. Next is the season finale and a bit of warning: You might wanna have some tissues handy.
AHH YES! This episode is my favorite and it’s the favorite of so much of the fandom as well. I cant wait to see what you think about it! edit: Hello fellow OG Pennsylvanian!!
I'm late but something that I learned is that Blitz's singing in this episode wasn't done by Brandon Rogers but was actually done by Michael Romeo Ruocco who is the voice actor for Agent 1.
There has been some debate over why Stola didn't just Kill Agent 1 and 2. Two theories always stood out to me as most plausible: 1. Stolas hasn't actually ever killed someone and we know he is a bit of a softie. it is possible that he simply doesn't have it in him. 2. Since Blitz(o) and Co had the Book, Stolas needed to posses Agent two and use the bodys of the dead agents to draw his pentagrm, thus summoning him into the world (That Pentagram is real btw, Vivzipop has gotten most of her inspiration from "The Lesser key of Salomon" A book detailing hirarchy, domains and summoning rituals for quite a few demons, Stolas included. Citation: "a Great Prince of Hell, commands twenty-six legions of demons. He teaches astronomy and is knowledgeable about herbs, plants, and precious stones. He is often depicted as a raven or a crowned owl with long legs." Thus the Plants in his house^^) and because of that, Agent two might be technically his "Master" since she sumoned him. This may prevent him from killing her or anyone else unless he is ordered to. But that is just speculation, it's not confirmed or anything
I believe the actual lore states that Stolas is a "pacifist." Mostly meaning that he doesn't kill, but I don't think he has a problem with mentally/physically torturing people.
I cannot tell you how freakin AWESOME it's been, watching these reactions. I swear, it's like watching myself go through each episode for the first time, because I had pretty much the same reactions as you to, y'know, EVERYTHING! I swear I'm not a crazy person... BUT... (always a fantastic and reassuring way to start a sentence) ...I keep talking back to you when you say stuff to the camera. You'll say something like "OH MAN THAT WAS PRICELESS" and I'm like "I KNOW RIGHT AAAAAAHHH" before I can stop myself. 🤪 This is one of my favorite episodes as well because everyone involved crammed SO. MUCH. GOOD. STUFF. into less than half an hour. There's insecurities revealed, some decent character growth, amazingly choreographed fight scenes (and they each get their own different kind of fight music!), the animation is top notch, and Stolas is... like, that's Eldritch horror level stuff. Blitz was DEFINITELY impressed. Plus, the big damn kiss at the end. SEE BLITZ, YOU LIKE HIM BEYOND YOUR "ARRANGEMENT". DON'T LIE. BTW I firmly believe Agents 1 & 2 are a sendup of Mulder & Scully from The X-Files, just with, y'know, really strong accents. Eeeeeeeeee! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 So glad you liked this one! Now I want to go rewatch the episode!
This episode has the best animation since Owl House. Why is the shows with Owls getting the best animation? Because Hooty and Stolas are literally awesome and if you don’t agree with me, then I’ll use the Grimoire; Also, musical part of the episode… super trippy and cool stuff.
*Vivienne Medrano and her fellow animators always go all out on the animation quality. In episodes like this that take themselves seriously and the animation is at its peak, I'd say it's up there with Studio Ghibli standards*
Moxxie’s coffee order I’ll have the Neapolitan cappuccino, More Cappa than Chino. Make sure it's got no more than 4oz of milk, The beans won't have the right texture otherwise. And make sure they spell my name correctly on the cup. They always put Voxxie or Roxy. I hate that. if you can't handle that, I'll have a Venti Traditional Misto. Please use soy milk with two blonde shots, adffogato and Ristretto . I'd also love three vanilla pumps at the very bottom. Then add the coffee after.
This is my favorite episode. The best for the comedy and animation and I just generally love it. Which is funny because it doesn't even have my favorite character in it.
Yeah, Stolas is properly terrifyingly powerful. We see a lot of his sillier side when he's interacting with Blitzo, but he's very much demon royalty, and he is properly powerful
If I've heard correctly. That giant shadow monster is Stolas demon form, aka what he actually looks like. But regardless, this proves one thing for sure. Do not fuck with Stolas.
"Youse" is used somewhere else outside of Ireland? Also, love how Stolas was like a parent. Checks on their kids to make sure their okay before scolding them for being extremely stupid
I've been WAITING for this episode it's SO DAMN GOOD. The whole show is fantastic but pretty much ep 5 and onward are on a whole different level and this is the first one that REALLY showcases it.
this episode shows that blitz is smart and cares about others when he said "close it (the portal)" that shows he cares about the others and doesnt want the agents to get to them and it shows hes smart telling them to close the portal so they cant get to hell

This whole song really encapsulates how Blitz is struggling and coming to an understanding that leads him to peace in the world, while mock is understanding how even tho he’s technically an underling and employee how he is occasionally more educated then Blitz and rather then dumbing it down or treating him differently his last line ‘I’ll speak my mind’ is the longest phrase and is the only sentence without an immense amount of Grammar/Dictionary talk.
moxie is saying he will atleast say his mind but do so with respect and pace that doesn’t overwhelm or annoy his boss because he respects him and trusts him as a friend/colleague. And instead of berating or belittling his boss by using language as a weapon he will speak his mind calmly and with respect.
Man, this is my favorite episode of the series so far and I'm glad you enjoyed it so much. Next is the season finale and a bit of warning: You might wanna have some tissues handy.
Moxie: sings
Bitzo: torture
Nexte : TORTURE DANCE !!!!!!!!!!!!!
AHH YES! This episode is my favorite and it’s the favorite of so much of the fandom as well. I cant wait to see what you think about it!
edit: Hello fellow OG Pennsylvanian!!
I can't wait to see her reaction to the next episode, my personal favorite!!
*The Circus* is my 2nd
*Truth Seekers* is my 3rd
This one is my favorite too! The interrogation scene and Moxxie’s Bad Trip are biggest reasons why
Elijah: "I'm so happy for them!"
Me: *Demonic laughing* Oh, honey...Just you wait for next episode... *Demonic laugh slowly fades into loud sobbing*
I KNEW she would love this episode! It's SO good!
Gotta hand it to Moxxie’s love for musical theater. He now gets to live his fantasy via a bad trip.
I'm late but something that I learned is that Blitz's singing in this episode wasn't done by Brandon Rogers but was actually done by Michael Romeo Ruocco who is the voice actor for Agent 1.
Her face when she realizes stole us isn't just a pretty boy but actually A real Prince of he ll
The fact that the part where Stolas and Blitz are kissing is the most vieuwed part really says something about us 😂
With all the stylized bloodshed, Quentin Tarantino would be thrilled.
This episode was well worth the 6 odd months we waited for it to be released
There has been some debate over why Stola didn't just Kill Agent 1 and 2. Two theories always stood out to me as most plausible:
1. Stolas hasn't actually ever killed someone and we know he is a bit of a softie. it is possible that he simply doesn't have it in him.
2. Since Blitz(o) and Co had the Book, Stolas needed to posses Agent two and use the bodys of the dead agents to draw his pentagrm, thus summoning him into the world
(That Pentagram is real btw, Vivzipop has gotten most of her inspiration from "The Lesser key of Salomon" A book detailing hirarchy, domains and summoning rituals for quite a few demons, Stolas included. Citation: "a Great Prince of Hell, commands twenty-six legions of demons. He teaches astronomy and is knowledgeable about herbs, plants, and precious stones. He is often depicted as a raven or a crowned owl with long legs." Thus the Plants in his house^^)
and because of that, Agent two might be technically his "Master" since she sumoned him.
This is one of my favorite episodes as well because everyone involved crammed SO. MUCH. GOOD. STUFF. into less than half an hour.
This episode has the best animation since Owl House. Why is the shows with Owls getting the best animation? Because Hooty and Stolas are literally awesome and if you don’t agree with me, then I’ll use the Grimoire;
Also, musical part of the episode… super trippy and cool stuff.
Funfact: *They used the beartraps.*
I loved that this episode showed everyone's love for each other and how EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM went beast mode!!!!
Elijah: We are gonna be reacting to season 1 episode 6 "Truth Seekers"
Subtitles: Loo Loo Land
Owl daddy is best character. I like most of them in this show but he takes the cake.
Teachers should show this episode to art, choreography, and cinema students.
Wow, I’m so happy, Elijah FINALLY didn’t talk about Millie’s voice this time!
The line "I'm a virgo" cracked me up!!! LOL!!!
I just realized the theme playing during Stolas' invocation is a dramatic version of the instrumental of the song he sings in season 2 episode 1.
Elijah cannot handle Stolitz. XD
*Vivienne Medrano and her fellow animators always go all out on the animation quality. In episodes like this that take themselves seriously and the animation is at its peak, I'd say it's up there with Studio Ghibli standards*
Moxxie’s coffee order
I’ll have the Neapolitan cappuccino, More Cappa than Chino.
Millie really loves Moxxie!!! Such an amazing wife!!!!
HECK YES I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS!! Can't wait to see this tomorrow! 😽 This is my favorite episode
Funny enough, Yous is also quite common in Niagara Falls!
Finally! Someone comments on Moxie pointing his leg. So funny. I love it every time I see it. Thanks, Elijah!
@11:00 pretty sure this is just the tip of the iceberg of stolas's power being a prince of hell of the family ars goetia
Elijah: "Truth Seekers"
the text: "Loo Loo Land"
I would really love it if stolas meets alastor, it would be so funny and awesome
I really can't wait for my favorite episode 7 to be reacted by Elijah.
5:26 Moxxie is my favorite character 😄
Will always love blitzes face when he sees stolas. He had no idea how powerful stolas is
You know, this was the episode that sold me on Blitz and Stolas as a couple.
“Yous” actually shows up pretty much anywhere with a strong Italian American presence, so Philly, Boston, Cincinnati some parts of NY, mobsters etc
i'm not prepered for next episode, I'll be crying my eyes out once again over it... but very excited to see elijah's reaction to it
Omgggg I've been wainting for this!!! I loooove this episode! Fun reaction❤
I've been WAITING for this episode it's SO DAMN GOOD. The whole show is fantastic but pretty much ep 5 and onward are on a whole different level and this is the first one that REALLY showcases it.
"Who dares threaten my impish little plaything"
I don’t know if you know this already but each character has their own irl instagram profile. Each one has a bit of extra story to it 😉😉😉😉
Great reaction! What an amazing episode! The ending to it is one of my favorites!
*Fun Fact:* Agent Two is voiced by the same actress who did Sapphire in *Steven Universe*
You mean agent 2?
@@winter9753 Thanks for the correction
“You’s” can be found in PA. It’s also used in central and south NJ as well. I think that it might cover a portion of CT as well.
this episode shows that blitz is smart and cares about others when he said "close it (the portal)" that shows he cares about the others and doesnt want the agents to get to them and it shows hes smart telling them to close the portal so they cant get to hell
This episode was my favorite when it came out
Then the next one was
Then the one after that
Youre gonna love the next few, the show really kicks it up a notch from here
