I cant tell you how much i want to hear this for the first time again. my jaw dropped when i heard this come out of nowhere when i was first playing this game.
@@craftysmitty9369 I feel you. I was absolutely amazed as how much better it was than Decisive Battle II, which didn't seem humanly possible at the time. But will Yasunori Nishiki be able to out-do himself for Octopath 3(if it happens)?
So I bought Octopath Traveler II earlier today and I literally JUST beat the Warden in Osvald's story as of this comment. This music blew my sodding mind. I,ll flat out admit it occupied my ears so much that I fully lost track of both my HP and SP. My first game over was not far behind. Realized the game was NOT playing around and somehow won on the second try by the skin of my teeth. But man, what an absolutely breathtaking opening to the game. Super excited for the adventure ahead!
I got the game a few weeks ago and started with Castti and her opening is also quite intense with this theme playing in the background as well, love this OST so far though
Your missing the fight with that guard dog Garnet, but that aside . That fight and all these scream one thing to me. "You wanna throw down ,bra? I'll throw down!"
Maybe not in the whole game, but I can see him being the hardest starter character. Very limited items, and your main damage requires SP, since Osvald doesn't have the best phys atk. It's still pretty hype though.

This boss fight theme absolutely slaps! Particularly during the battle against Lady Rai Mei when you play through Hikari's story.
Slaps SO HARD, I make sure to put my headphones on everytime I come across a boss, it gets me so hype
No idea why it hits so hard in *this* particular fight, but it absolutely does. I thought exactly the same thing.

No, he remembered Garnet. That part was just fairly short.
