@@NuiYabuko I'm from a time when the final boss sometimes didn't have its own unique music. This specific boss piece could accompany fighting Zeus on top of airplane while it is crashing into a volcano.
The comically evil bourgeois plot line wasn’t anything too engaging for me but when Agnea’s motif kicks in I am willing to burn the world for this girl
Yea, it is weird how a young dancer following her dreams despite it hurting her father is so much more touching than the edgy dude whose rival burned down his house. Osvald spoiler and suggestion: Despite the latter being much much more tragic. But honestly, would it have hurt Square to build up Osvald's family a bit so you can relate to his loss? You'd have to rewrite the chapters a bit (C 1 would be family time, C2 prison with a shortened escape sequence)
Like Tressa Before her, Agnea's pursuit leading into the clash 2 is just PERFECT with the optimism and intensity. 2 for 2 already with the best story and characters for me being the optimistic and hopeful tales.
3 for 3. Their attitudes and story structure make them both the best starter character, also their final chapters sum up the long journey very well if you do them last.

Octopath Traveler 1 & 2 are easily the best 2 games I've played this year and I consider OT1 to be the best game I've ever played. Both games soundtracks have heavily influenced that amongst many other factors of course.

Her and Osvald's transition theme is by far the best. Not too engaged in her story though, even during the second boss. Here's hoping that it gets better.
POV: You try to destroy someone’s bar for being successful but some random little dancing girl starts stabbing you.
And quite literally kick your butt
Love this comment lol. She’s such a sweetie
It's a fun fact considering La'Mani is weak to daggers and spears
Heehee~ *hits you for 2864 damage with one kick*
And assaults several dancers and musicians along the way
Me: "wow, this is some really good final boss music!"
Chapter 2 Filler Boss: "I'm the what now?"
The irony is that Agnea's final boss music is absolutely amazing.
The real irony is the fact that that is literally something that boss could and will say in Agnea's chapter 5 XD
The funny thing about comments like these is that usually the track in question doesn't even sound like final boss music.

i actually started as agnea after playing the demo just because of this transition :D
All the character theme transitions into the boss battle music are epic.
You know how when the music is just so good and well done you just can't help but tear up?
They had to give her those Irish fiddles. I'm a sucker for Irish fiddles.
I was tearing up during this, the music is just so good.
Yup, just can't help it. Tears of joy flowing when the boss starts. It just slaps so hard!

Agnea's story is better than Tressa imo
I think Agnea’s pursuit-allong with the other characters’ pursuits-leading into Critical Clash 1 are also perfect.
@@cristobalgonzalez324 Agnea's story was pure cringe imo but her character's OST was fantastic
Yasunori Nishiki knocks it out of the park once more.
There were a couple of themes in Agnea's chapter 1 that caught me off guard with how beautiful they were, this was one of them
Agnea story is very simple I'm a dancer you are a bad guy I'm going alone to slap you
When I first heard this song, I couldn't stop thinking about it.
I thought it expressed well the feeling of taking on a strong enemy.
This Game NEEDS to win this years best soundtrack.
I'm really shocked with this game and its OST, it really reminds me old school anime and jrpg soundtracks. Well done Square!
Nishiki is a mastermind

1:25 the sudden transition between the 2 music is amazing ❤❤❤❤❤
That's the sign of good boss music, when it amps you up for the fight, especially a long one.
Speaking of nice transitions to decisive battle 2, I like this one!
Too bad this transition was only used once in the game.
You know shit is real when critical clash 2 kicks in (and I LOVE IT.)
Every time a boss fight is approaching I'm practically screaming at the game to play CC2, and every time it does it's the most satisfying thing.

Agnea's final boss could have been great if I didn't unlock One True Magic first lol

Anyone else hear the vocals in the theme? It’s very muted but they sound like they’re saying the same words as the song of hope
She went full Karen
Kind of deserved though ngl
I can't believe I'm saying this... True but this Karen had a reason.
I don't think that's what the term means.

Can you upload all of the other pre-boss themes with Critical Clash 1, please?
Agnea's story was rather meh for me.... but the music made up for it tenfold. Much like Tressa's before her
