Girl!! THANK YOU!! my eyes water SOOOO badly and I've been getting aggravated , almost ready to give up. You are my Go To videos daily! And once again you have saved my sanity!! Thank you!!
Allergy tack this morning… wish I would’ve seen this sooner . My eyes were so red, and my makeup literally ran down my face . But I also am overdue for cleansing my makeup brushes. So … I’m going to take this advice to heart. Thanks a million , Smitha !
It helps to make sure the makeup you buy is 100% hypoallergenic. It doesn’t matter if it’s expensive makeup or cheap, if it’s not 100% hypoallergenic it will irritate your eyes. Trust me I deal with the same problem. 🙂
I have been using that qtip trick for years. I have allergies to the point where I no longer wear makeup on the lower lash line. Thanks for the tips Smitha! 😍😍
Thank you so much! You literally just answered several questions I have been searching for answers for for a long time. such as the way the liquid liner runs up into the fine lines of my eyelids when my eyes water. Things that is so hard to find information about! I love your channel!
you are absolutely right I purchased the eyeshadow palette this week and I haven’t stopped using it and it does not absolutely does not water 😢my eyes 👀 I gently applied the eyeshadow tapping off the excess powder, no irritation known whatsoever!!! boy what a blessing! 🗣️Thank you! 😍👩🏾🦲🥰
Thank you for this video! I suffer from a viral infection in my cornea, which also causes dry eyes. My eyes are super sensitive anything from light to makeup can cause a flare-up. Thank you for the tips and product recommendations.
Thank you! This is very helpful as my eyes get very watery after I’ve put make up on. I’ve tried different brands and nothing helps. I’ll be trying these tips!
Thank you so very much for this very informative video Snitha . I used to be able to wear anything on my eyes but not anymore. I will purchase these products and follow ur instructions. I LOVE your channel. ❤
Thank you!!!! For me gel eyeliner (Maybelline) has been a real game changer. I found out by chance that it works. Also heating the eye area with a hot damp towel works very well. I will try out some of your tips from the video, too :)!
Thank you SO much, Smitha. I have very watery eyes, so doing my makeup can be very frustrating. It's one of the reasons I don't wear makeup a whole lot, even though I like it and enjoy experimenting. This will be a huge help for me! Tell me, do you think eyeshadow crayons are okay? They seem to be very easy to use. And what about liquid eyeshadows? Smitha, you are so wonderful for sharing your tips with us hooded girls. I've used several of them already, and it's been so much fun, not to mention easierto apply. I'm DEFINITELY taking your advice about how I use my brushes. I think that's been part of my problem; I'm being too rough with my delicate skin. Thank you for your videos! They are lifesavers!
Thank you for this video Smitha! I have very sensitive eyes. And each time I do my makeup, specially eye makeup of conceal around my eyes... my eyes water and ruin the entire look. I will definitely try these hacks and see if they work. :)
Thank you for this video, I am right now with very bad Atopic Dermatitis around my eyes and I am basically discarding everything I have. I will be going to get the Honest eyeshadows and I hope that they work.
Thank you so much, Smitha. This is a problem for me so I stopped wearing makeup. What are your recommendations for lipstick underneath a mask? I love your channel and look forward to your uploads. May God bless you!
Thank you. Very helpful as I have dry eye condition (liquid pours out 🙃) and now I see what I am doing wrong. Never thought of the qtip I usually grab a kleenex. Too bad as the liquid liner is so dark and dramatic, if you come across a deep powder please share. I am going to get that brush set and a few other things. Thank you.
I really needed this video. I live in a dry desert with very fine dirt and a LOT of wind, so I almost always have to go out naked faced cuz I'll just cry it all off.
Personally I bought some make up specialised in sensitive eye, I got an eye infection beginning of January and I got rid of ALL my fav make up products for Eye Care products, i think it’s French but you probably have tones of brands in the US, thanks though for the tips
My eyes sometimes leave a water mark on the outer corner of my eyes instead of the inner corner. It's always been so annoying. I've just been putting my eye make up a tiny bit above that instead of on that if I don't want to do the bottom of my eye. It's fine for that, but if I do want to do the bottom it's so annoying since it smudges/erases the makeup there. But hopefully these tips will help that too!
Have watery eyes. Using gel eyeliners work best for me. Can't use power to line under my bottom lashes as invariably the powder drifts down and emphasizes my under eye circles.
Thanks so much, Smitha! I noticed I've been a member of the "sensitive eyes club" since I started using makeup 🥲 I'll GLADLY try this palette & your other suggestions here (just added to Wish List!)! FYI: A few years back, I found a Wet n Wild black twist-up eye liner that was AMAZING for inner eye/tight lining, but sadly lost the name (it rubbed off the packaging 😢). Other than that, I still keep up the search for other eye makeup I can actually wear, without looking like I've been crying or have hay fever. 🔎👀. Luv ya, Smitha!
@@tanyad7073 Thanks so much, it very well may be! I sure hope so, because it worked PERFECTLY for my sensitive eyes; no itchiness, no watering or tearing up, etc...! I'll gladly buy another of this liner & try it out. Finger's crossed! Thanks so much, again Tanya D, you rock! 🤩
Love this tutorial! This is the first time I've ever seen someone provide solutions for applying makeup for. sensitive eyes. Thank you so much Smitha! I don't like putting eyeliner on my waterline because it tends to sting and the eyeliner that i try to apply disappears as my eyes water right away. I also worry about the chemicals going into my eye from the eyeliner. This was such a great help!❤
Thankyou...I was just thinking about you doing a video on this!! You read my mind....thanks!! Can you please do a video on shaky eyes when doing makeup!! I can't stop my eyes from moving when trying to do makeup 😩
I have watery eyes and when i put on eyeshadow my eye always waters and thank you for doing and makeup watery eyes look i will be doing this next time when i put on eyeshadow
Very nice video Smitha! For sure i have very very sensitive eyes! Is not ok for me many eye make up products! I use only gel waterpoof eyeliner and i don't use pencils! I did't use creamy products! My eyes and my face is very oily and they did't stay any of them! Thanks for the tips! You save is! What is the name of the eyeshadow brush wen you use on these video? Have a nice day and good weekend! Have a good week! 👍👏🤩🤩🤩
Amazing that you posted this! I just bought a new eye palette yesterday and as I applied it, my eyes started to water like crazy! I have super sensitive eyes and bad allergies. My eyes water all the time, so this and any other tips you may have for sensitive eyes are very much appreciated! 👀
Others mention watery eyes. I have dry and very itchy eyes which leads to attacks of sneezing. My circles get very dark. An allergy test says I don't have allergies! I just wash my eyes and cool them. Will these tips help me too as I like to wear makeup? Thanks
Hi Dear Smitha it seems u r after my heart in all ur recent videos 🫶🫶🫶 nt only my eyes water my nose starts running also 😭😭.....superb informative nd useful tips....will follow nd cm bck to u wth my review 💗💗
They make little silicone pads with different size/types of nubbies on them that you can put the soap on (make sure you're using a good soap with no irritants in it-I use castile soap), wet your brushes, and swirl them around on the pad. You'd be amazed at how much makeup comes out of them! Make sure to rinse your brushes really good, and lay them flat to dry, and make sure they dry fully. Don't ever soak your brushes in water or any other solution, as it can break down the glue that is holding the tips of your brushes onto the handle.

I've got allergies too, it's so annoying when it comes to make up. It also ruins the make up around my nostrils lol.
Thank you. I have battled with watery eyes forever, cheap makeup, high-quality, it doesn't matter. I will try this
