No matter how you pronounce ”Dauzat St. Marie” [though dō'-zaht sānt mah-ree’ would be accurate], the name has certainly been circulating far and wide these past several years through heavyweight touring with heavyweight artists. These two hardcore troubadours have been busy touring all over the U.S. as main support for Grammy® Award winning heartthrob Rick Springfield’s “Stripped Down” solo acoustic show series for the past four years and have peppered in dates with The Marshall Tucker Band, Lindsay Ell, Schuyler Fisk / Sissy Spacek, and Rick Derringer in between. Most recently, the power duo toured the U.S. as main support for legendary music icons Pat Benatar & Neil Giraldo, and Dauzat St. Marie is showing no signs of slowing down.

This is just magical. Love the video. The power and emotion in Heather's vocal is so amazing but perfectly matched with Mats phenomenal guitar work then comes their incredible Harmony vocals with exact equal power and emotional feel. It doesn't get any better than this.

Absolutely! I've always had the opinion where I felt sorry for anyone who tried to cover a George Michael song, cause there's just no way anyone could do it better. And, I sometimes felt bad for musicians that George covered, because he often did it better than the original. And, while I know this is a Bonnie Raitt song, once George covered it, it was kind of the standard for me. So, Heather and Mat just put a glitch in my long held theory that no one could cover a song better than George. Everytime you two post a new song, I'm just in awe of the incredible talent. Your original songs are lyrical and musical awesomeness. Your videos are always so beautiful. You can see and feel every emotion. Not many musicians can do that.
