The acquisition of Steiger saved Case’s 4wd market. That 9110 with the Koyker loader is pretty badass.

Agreed but I think case could of still killed it with the ridgid frame crab steer models

The Steiger Puma was a great tractor, we planted, cultivated with it’s well as running the grain cart

Funny that in the 80s case said the rigid frame was the best compared to the articulated models but yet ended up buying steiger anyway

Tenneco, Case's parent company bought them as some of their stock came with the IH ag division purchase, and Steiger was dependent on IH at the time for cash reasons.

Do farmers in North America use front loaders? In Nordic countries front loaders are very common

Had to drive one in the early 90’s. You didn’t realize how bad of a tractor it was, until you got on a John Deere. The case was much louder and had a horrible turbo whine that would drive you crazy after awhile. It also took almost twice the room to turn around. I’m comparing these to the 8760 Deere we had. I can’t even remember the case model number.

They complained and made stupid accusations about everyone, instead of worrying about what they were doing. That’s why they went under, just like all the rest of them exceptJohn Deere. Deere had the best stuff and system going, thus survived.
