FAQs/Why would they do that?! Answers
We are so glad you are here! Welcome to our channel!
    1. We are in Oklahoma near the Arkansas border.
    2. We do this on a volunteer basis.
    3. Kim aka Mom is retired. Jennifer owns her own business as a massage therapist.
    4. We film multiple locations in one day since we can’t go out all the time given Jen’s full time job. You may not see all the locations we filmed that day in one video.
    5. You may see other people in our videos at times including Granny aka Sue (mom’s mom), Jeff (Kim’s husband and Jennifer’s dad), or Jessica (Jennifer’s little sister) and Lucy (our beautiful, amazing, wonderful dog).
    6. Many wonder why we put stuff down culverts. A few reasons: it provides help for wildlife, we like to and it would have gone downstream anyway. If it blocks another culvert then we will take care of that too but most of the locations we visit are in incredibly rural areas where there won’t be another culvert for miles.
    7. We care about wildlife and never want to cause harm to them. The only reason we will clear a beaver damn is if it is threatening land or roads that can not be accessed any other way. It may not be the road directly within sight but a farm road close by.
    8. We appreciate advice in the comments. We understand that we will receive constructive criticism in the comments. What we won’t allow is the calling of names, derogatory terms, or just plain calling us stupid or idiots. We are all adults here and the internet is already a largely negative place as it is, let’s not add to it. We are people doing our best to help our neighborhood and planet by picking up trash and clearing culverts. Why do we deserve hate for that?
    9. You may not agree with or like the way we did something but that doesn’t mean we did it wrong. There is a right/wrong way to dismantle a bomb. Clearing culverts is up for interpretation to the one doing the work.
    10. We hope that you enjoy our videos and will keep coming back for more! Any other questions you have feel free to ask in the comments.

Love you and your parents! Have you thought about using spray paint to mark the road where the culverts are on the ones you have trouble finding (like purple or green - you know, some color the utilities don't use).

Why don't you bring something to mark the edge of the road so you can find the culvert that's buried. Make it easier on you. Great job.❤

I love y'all's videos! But I was wondering.......when you see that the end of culvert is clogged with rocks & debri why don't you just go ahead & pull it out? I was just wondering....

This was a follow-up video. In the previous video for the location, it was obvious there is no more lower pipe, just rocks. At this point in time, it is no more than water flowing through a hole in the asphalt.

Hi from Australia! A thought about marking with some form or other the entrances of the culverts for reference for later visits. Ask the management companies what they would use, eg, posts with yellow tops. Enjoy your time in the outdoors.

Thanks so much for the update at the big bridge! Man, that was some day to watch! Isn't that the day each of you fell so many times? That was a brutal clearing, but it looks fabulous now! 👏👏👏

If a culvert is full of rocks, it's probably not a good idea to shove the handle in there and pack the rocks into it even further.

Sometimes removing rocks sitting in the outflow will free up ones stuck behind them.

When y'all find those hidden culvert pipes, maybe use a small line of orange paint to mark it on the road so you dont have to search for the entrance anymore.

As a suggestion...if you could..go back to these culverts once dry am maybe put some kind of paint line at the opening to know or use as a point of reference as to where the opening end is...just a suggestion. Do as you wish. Great job as always even though I haven't watched this video fully...
