Theres 2 people i get excited , no matter how much ive watched their interviews --- KANGANA and MALLIKA. These two are bold n fearless n speak the truth , always!
She is so right. So articulate. So true and candid. And so GORGEOUS. Also, she is a full on original. She copies none. And no one dare copy her 😎. I have always liked her and i also always found her a very confident and good actress.
Great to see mallika back saw her few years in California for 15 august parade, then another fundraiser she is super sweet. Being happy internally makes you look young, also I LOVE HER DRESS she is so well put together love the yellow skirt
Now this is exactly what we call beautiful, endearing, amazing, fantabulous... the list just goes on and on and on...like forever... BEST SETUP, BEST CAMERA WORK, BEST COSTUMES...SIMPLY GLAMOROUS... Now R.I.P. , the old blue drape background .....
Was she so matured then and visionary about the bold role played in the picture?😮 really visionary actress and aware of the evolving culture… good to see the new narrative …
I really like Karishma Mehta in some episodes and this definitely is one of them! Mallika IN THE HOUSE! WOO-HOO! Who can forget her yelling Zillelahi in Welcome and playing a village belle(obviously fake, in the movie). Back then, one had thought she should get more light/comedic work to do in different kinds of movies. But THAT SO DID NOT happen! When she shifted base to LA, one realized her yearning for a better life (actually)-she did have more to offer than what Bollywood could do or say about her! Also, interviews and interviewers are better NOW, maybe? (Shout Out to Karishma here)! Had Mallika been interviewed back then the way she is being now, things could have played out differently for her, who knows! Hope she continues to get better work at least now in this phase of her life and gets to showcase her talent/her substance!
Definitely give Mallika some other opportunity. But why replace Sonakshi from heeramandi. She did a good job. Also if you see her previous works like in Dahad , she has proved her talent.
Such an inspiring conversation It’s essential to highlight stories like Mallika Sherawat’s that showcase the resilience and strength it takes to navigate an industry often filled with stereotypes and gender bias. Women in Bollywood, and beyond, deserve to be seen for their talent, not objectified or judged for their choices. It’s incredible to see these barriers being broken and narratives changing, thanks to voices like yours, Karishma.Looking forward to hearing more about Mallika's journey and her perspective on love, empowerment, and evolving female roles in the industry.
Then interview is great but the fact that Malika's answers are repetitive in all interviews she did for promotion. But nevertheless she's indeed articulate
Such a great episode! Karishma is a great host - thank you humans of Bombay for bringing us these conversations. It's my favorite podcast to listen before sleeping
I have always liked her I was 20 when Murder came out I watched it from London. I'm a 3rd generation British born Indian. I loved that era too of movies songs and the actors looks and fashion. That time people were not kind with women doing whatever they liked I suppose and I'm glad it changed to some degree. I'm 39 going on 40 and I've never married either. When I was 30 I met many women in their 40s from Persian, Arabian, Turkish Indian backgrounds in London who have not married and no kids and yes they had partners boyfriends etc it's nice to see the pressure release in India, and many women working aren't married either because they already have so much going on in their lives. Mallika Sherawat has a unique feminine voice she looks like this lady or this lady looks like her vice versa her RUclips name is : Lisa Glamour. Well they do say there are 7 people who will look the same and have same voices in the world.
Those same men 😂😂idolise imran hasmi 🤡🤡🤡men in our country can get marry n carry respect coz they are man after doing such scenes imran hasmi did kissing stuff bed room scene but he considered gud man n she is considered low both doing same n she did less than him but discrimination from men is example of hypocrisy
Will an Alia Bhat work on stories like Mallika Sherawat under her father Bhatts direction? Or is it ppl born within the industry does “good” roles and outsiders do movies with Mahesh Bhatt?
The Indian ppl who I meet in my village(city) are so super nice and helpful but then I hear so much bad news from the subcontinent - where am I? Gotta love YT I end up in the oddest places watching Indian women actresses and I have never seen a single bollywood movie beside 15sec dance excerpts where yall get extra wild as if thats what everyday all day is like lol cheers!
Kaunse zamane me ho chachi. ? Ur stuck in movie decades ago who only uncles may remember Lol today Every series n movie has very bold scenes! Lol . Nothing to be shocked about
She was married before entering this field. She was a crew member and married a pilot. I'm not sure why she's been hiding this portion of her life for so long. Be at least honest with yourself.
She doesn't wanna talk about it. She has many notable achievements to talk about that will help small town girls to aspire for something bigger in life!
Maybe the she and the guy made a promise to never talk about each other. Don't pry inside others' bedrooms, if she doesn't wanna tell, don't force. What's difference would it make anyway?
I disagree with her on so many things: 1. Bollywood always had erotica, even in the 70s/80s/90s but the erotica was more male centric not based on women's needs. 2. As a girl who grew up in the states and was fortunate to have seen both cultures intimately, shes rights there's a bit more freedom given here to women too but the standards of woman are still very much the same. Theres a reason why the song "labor" is popular amongst the females here as well. 3. The point she made about young stars not getting memorable movies, is more catered to nepo kids who btw follow the typical Bollywood storylines, which are meant to cover up their lacks in their talent. Good actors and good movies are still being manufactured and remembered. The difference is these are often low budget and very rural/desi/rugged vibes to them. Be it shows like panchayat, or family man, or movies like stree, lapata ladies, or dhoni. The issue i see is Bollywood barely makes movies like this and these movies do far better in OTP because Bollywood's monopolies on the dates and tickets in cinemas don't work on western OTP forms.
I didn't like the questions....the interviewer should have researched more and should have asked vulnerable and intelligent questions...she didn't ask about her first marriage, her first film khwaish...etc etc !! She is asking very very basic questions.
Mallika has said several time before in her early career, that she will not talk about her brief marriage to a Sikh pilot , because he has said he does not want a mention. She is respecting that person's privacy, who I believe married soon after. It's irrelevant . That was her life pre modelling even, while she was still in college. Why should it be talked about. What is the point? :)
Also men still shaming but they aren't gonna point out now the way she is dressing. They only want to shame. People have such sick mindset still shaming her for what. This is entertaining business not body business. Such bad language gas beenused against her. They only see those things not ger words and wisdom. Look at her words
Yeh madam ko objectification wale roles pasand nahi hai. Par ek role hai jo inka non glamorous hai? It's ridiculous. Ek proper role kar lo madum. But she is otherwise quite on point. On all other topics

and both´s inspiration is swami vivekananda, interestingly :)
Bring Kangana, please!!
I just love her
Same here
She is so right. So articulate. So true and candid. And so GORGEOUS. Also, she is a full on original. She copies none. And no one dare copy her 😎. I have always liked her and i also always found her a very confident and good actress.
That is Wisdom..!! Time Stamp: 29:40 "For me having a career, economically independent is settling down" 👍
Mallika has now motivated me to read philosophy. What an amazing lady. ❤
How come she is still looking the same after so many years...she is looking gorgeous
❤️❤️❤️
She ruined her nose though. I see signs of old botox and surgery
Yeah she was always real and gorgeous. Only thing different I feel is ..her teeth seem bigger somehow.
Great to see mallika back saw her few years in California for 15 august parade, then another fundraiser she is super sweet. Being happy internally makes you look young, also I LOVE HER DRESS she is so well put together love the yellow skirt
Mallika sherawat is a lively woman :) Clarity in thought process, knows herself, stood for what she believed in....Enjoyed it thoroughly. :)
Would be such a treat to have malikka and kangana share the silver screen.-
Good to see a sensible and matured person in Bollywood
Now this is exactly what we call beautiful, endearing, amazing, fantabulous... the list just goes on and on and on...like forever... BEST SETUP, BEST CAMERA WORK, BEST COSTUMES...SIMPLY GLAMOROUS... Now R.I.P. , the old blue drape background .....
Something looks... off
Maybe she got veneers. They look too big for her mouth. I love Mallika Sherawat but I can't unsee it. 😢
The way she speaks her vocab is so much better den Priyanka ❤❤❤
Malika is so inspiring..... I really like her way of speaking very calm and yet so honest .....❤
Such an unfiltered conversation 😍
Absolutely! 🙏🏻❤️
She has miraculous aura❤❤❤❤ wrt her speaking skills and thought process
OG …she was ahead of time
Was she so matured then and visionary about the bold role played in the picture?😮 really visionary actress and aware of the evolving culture… good to see the new narrative …

Mallika inspires me to live openly as a queer person.
Way ahead of times and evolved person 🙌
She is so cool 😎
She should have played Sonakshi role in heeramandi...Manisha koirala and Mallika Sherawat face off and chemistry would have been much better
U r wrong as sonakshi did a great job so stop comparing
@@dharvinnarraidoo9817 nope...it was below average performance
Sona killed it in hermandi❤❤❤
Why? Sonakshi was brilliant!
Definitely give Mallika some other opportunity. But why replace Sonakshi from heeramandi. She did a good job. Also if you see her previous works like in Dahad , she has proved her talent.
She has excellent smart communication skills.she talks with so much confidence and grace.

I don't know why but i like her to listen..... ❤
Such a positive aura around her
Then interview is great but the fact that Malika's answers are repetitive in all interviews she did for promotion. But nevertheless she's indeed articulate

DICHOTOMY ….. Karishma’s favourite word….. cute❤❤❤
Ranveer’s podcast covered it alll. Nothing new in this interview
Lol
Same I was thinking
literally same questions and ditto answers
Bhai to kyu dekhne yaha aaye ho jao aaram kro, mai unki fan hu to mujhe to achha lgta hai unko dekhna
Aap to roj apni life repeat krte ho aap boring nhi hue
Nice podcast 👍👍
It felt like two girls freely chatting
I really liked her a lot
She is well read woman
Her vocabulary is just so good❤
😍❤️
❤️❤️
Still so many "respectable men" are dragging her through the mud like nobody's business. They only see the dirt because their mind is filled with it.

same to same, sentence by sentence TRS posdcast me bhi bol ke ayi hain🥱 script toh change karlo 🙄
😂true
Because the podcasters are asking same question
I like her but y she repeating same words in every interview
Jo same h to same hi bolegi na yrr ya personality ko apne alag bta degi ya har baar struggle alag bta degi…
Same talk like that TRS
Good talk.

I think its a paste copy of TRS of last week...You think asked some different questions ...
Just imagine someone talking like just before murder just after murder 😂😂😂😂😂 with demure manner
I know she is talking about a movie
❤
❤️❤️❤️
Same question and same answer. Ranveer k podcast mei already same tha.

Men respect emran hashmi while saying her vulgar stuff men as gender is hypocrite
Podcasters should ask new deeper questions
the likes went 9 11
Why is this a copy paste podcast from TRS?
They are discussing the exact same things that I have already heard!
Zille Illahi!!!!!
❤️❤️
DEIis just a fancy term, there is no actual work been done to create an inclusive environment in workplace but India really is still so backward
Don't give birth to children to suffer in this world 😢😮😢
👁️
Mahila - purush . Omggggg ! Are you in dinosaur era? Wake up.
India is in era n it's hindi word to say woman man seems too much western influenced
Same batein Rajiv k show mai ki thi dusre podcast mai 😅😅😅
Sach same rhta hai
Inte bure din nahi aaye logo ke 😂😂😂😂😂
High time atleast India should project family friendly movies than sick vulgur movies
Young actress sab Botox ki vajah se aik jase lagti han sab ki sab fake natural beauty un ki hai hi nahi
In some families, its matriarchy.
I don't know what is matriarchy ciz That thing I didn't see anywhere I have seen toxic woman carrying leadership with same men Patriarchy rules
all flop actresses has always been talking like this only
They are flop cox men sexualise them instead doing them actually acting work same with tripti happening
Yeh madam ko objectification wale roles pasand nahi hai.
Par ek role hai jo inka non glamorous hai?
It's ridiculous.
Ek proper role kar lo madum.
But she is otherwise quite on point. On all other topics
She has done such roles...watch her movie with Rahul Bose
Maybe coz men in industry not giving her other work😊
