Today on the show, we have with us the very dynamic Sonali Bendre. She is an Indian actress and model who has majorly worked in Hindi films, alongside Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Marathi language films. She established herself as one of the leading Indian actresses of the 90s and is known for her glamorous style statements. From her acting debut in 1994 with "Aag", to movies like "Diljale" (1996), "Sarfarosh" (1999), "Hum Saath-Saath Hain" (1999), and so many more.
It was a true honour for me to host her at our space. The amount of positivity and warmth she generates with her in every room is truly magnetic. After talking to her so openly in this beautiful setting, I got to know her on an extremely deep level. In this episode, we spoke about the many aspects of her courageous personality, her habit of reading, meeting her husband, her early days in the industry, Bollywood in the 90s and so much more.

Yes, it was never spoken about. As a 23 year old in 1997, unmarried had ovarian cancer. My family, my mother and my husband ( who was my best friend at that time) were my strength. Didn't even realise it, went through chemo and all, finished my Ph.d, got married to my best friend. Both of us are successful in our careers with two girls now. Had forgotten all that.

The best podcast episode Ranveer. I am 41 suffering from a bad attack of rheumatoid arthritis since November. I was almost immobile for 3 months. I have a 7 year old daughter amd I was scared what's going to happen next. What followed next was another two months of depression also because of the steroids. With so much changing mentally and physically for me, I almost gave up. But my daughter gave me the strength to stand up on my feet. Throughout this podcast I was crying. I lived through this. I love fighters and I believe I am walking that path. I do have my bad days but my family gives me the strength. I could connect with her so much. She also gave me a new perspective. If you can do let her know that she already made a difference to one person today. Thanks guys. Lots of love and blessings😍🥰🥰

There comes a phase in life when God has made you realize all the real truths of life so you think and act differently. In 2018 itself I was lying on hospital bed with just 1 or 2 % chances of survival. My mom was crying and I still remember that. My dad didn't react . Just sat by my side.
For me it didn't matter whether I was alive or dead because I had gone through the worst phase of my life. God gave me 2nd life. I firmly believe that this 2nd half of life is for me to do something very different from what I have done. Near death experience changes you as a person because then you don't fear anything and know what it means to die. You start living a truly authentic life where you want to contribute to a larger purpose and are also ready to pay the big price for it. If I were dead I would not be writing this comment today.

Im a class 12th bio student , yesterday i read about cancer at its cellular level, also dived a lil bit on to its emotional level. Reading about cancer made me break down about how worse it is, and knowing that every 4th people in India is having cancer just made my heart breakdown. May God bless every Cancer patient and Survivor immense strength, clarity, and accetance as sonali mam added, and all the non cancer patient the empathy that Cancer is HARD BATTLE, and WE TOGETHER CAN MAKE IS EASY FOR OUR FRIENDS. love.

Really Sonali Bendre Cancer story hv give me the courage to over come my cancer surgery which was exactly one day earlier I had in 2017, but good part of her was dat she open to the world and bad part of my cancer was I kept it with me a suffer a lot 😢
