Hi, great video thanks a lot. I have a question. I have a model that needs transparency to see inside. However, I don't want any refraction that can bend the shape of my objects inside. Is there a way to remove the refraction? Thanks
you can use geforce cards with visualize (I for example use 1080ti) This can be done by adding a key in the register by following this path: Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\SolidWorks\SOLIDWORKS 2021\Performance\Graphics\Hardware\Gl2Shaders\NV40\ This is in the case of my 1080TI wherein I added a new key named " GeForce GTX 1080 Ti/PCIe/SSE2 ". Within this key you add a 32bit DWORD with hex value 30408 and named "WORKAROUNDS"
This is obviously not actively supported by solidworks or their distributors and working in the regedit is at your own risk. Adding this key shouldn't be a problem but aside from that do not touch anything you are not familiar with and know what consequences are of changes made to those things.

How can I do that
Video card requirements are rediculous

I'm running a Nvidia P2200. Purchased new for $500.
I use a RTX4000 at work. Solidworks sucks when it comes to video card support.
@@carmelotreviso how so?
