Please please please make more visualize content. There isn't much that covers it on RUclips and the ones that do don't the level of clarity Hawkridge presents with to make it worthwhile
While I understand beauty visualization isn't the main concern of most engineers I believe it's valuable just the same as it has the potential to attract more people in the first place, if done right.
Visualize is nifty and bypasses the need to fiddle with exporting models to neutral formats and battling meshes in blender/some other software just to do renders with good quality

Will add it to our topic list! Are there any specific areas of Visualize / rendering you had in mind?

Thank you so much, more such videos.

Thanks for watching! We'll definitely have more coming like this.

I tried this but my fingerprints' alpha channel is making the part disappear. I correctly loaded the screen glass and fingerprints appearances in the multi-layer box. Can you help please?

Possibly it could be a geometry import issue and the glass is a not separate entity from the rest of the model? Can you apply another appearance to the screen glass successfully?

    Thanks a lot.
Can you share the appearance so we can just use it right away.

The texture used in the video can be downloaded here: www.poliigon.com/texture/fingerprints-004
Although many of Poliigon's textures are free to download per their FAQ they aren't supposed to be redistributed, so we won't be able to upload the packaged Visualize appearance for this one. But if you follow the steps in the video you should be able to easily recreate the appearance!
      Thanks,

Hello sir, do you know how to do a priority view in visualize, for example if I have a fully rendered car, I want to see the engine inside as well, but it doesn't mean the entire car becomes transparent, it should be fully normal except for the engine area it should ghost around the engine, I hope you get my point, do you think multi layer will work?

Approach would depend on how the part/groups are set up and whether the areas you want to hide are separately selectable. You could use "Split part" command with Part selection to break up an area, such as the hood of the car, by face angle to be able to adjust its opacity separately.
Alternatively, you could apply a black and white mask texture into Alpha channel to whatever material is on the car body. This should be able to accomplish a more smooth fading effect around the area to be transparent, but would require adjusting the tiling/offset to locate the transparent area

@@hawkridgesystems thank you sir, what I was thinking was to render the external separately then use it as a back plate and have a separate assembly consisting of engine tire axles only and then apply appearance and render it.
