Some very nice features such as the remote control but the tripod feature was very tight to pull out on my product and unfortunately the little plastic foot split and came off meaning I can only get the footless leg out with fine pliers. No good. I sent it back

Question, is it bad for the gimbal to pull out the extension rod while on? I did that once.. didnt move alot tho so i think its fine but.. just to be sure
Payload is a standard 300g. If you use an iPhone 12/13 mini, it might support the extra weight. If you use anything normal to big, it probably won't (not as smoothly, anyway). The M6 is for slightly heavier payloads like that at 400g payload, but also costs a bit more and is bulkier.

Do you lose a ton of features if you use a Samsung Galaxy Phone instead of an iPhone?
It looks nice, however the big problem is no one reviews it on Android devices. Only iPhones which far from all users have. :(

What should be the mode when you extend the selfie stick.. Should the gimbal be turned off before extending and retracting the stick??

it's a smartphone gimbal. You can't mount anything but a smartphone
What is the difference from the Hohem V3 and M6? Which would you choose?
Do you think the M6 and V3 are similar in terms of image stabilization?

I wouldn't compare them. If you want a small gimbal, the M6 is too big. If you want to more powerful motors with a wider range of movement choose M6
