Smartroof collaborate with Taylor Wimpey on their Future Homes Trial

Recently Smartroof collaborated with Taylor Wimpey on their Future Homes trial. Five exemplar plots built to different low carbon specifications to meet FHS to identify the best ways to reduce energy demand and incorporate low-carbon technology into our homes of the future.
Smartroof supplied the cassettes for the first roof mounted heat air source fitted on a live site in the UK. The design team at Smartroof had to design the cassettes to accommodate the heat pump, which was installed successfully.
